We met Torsten through our wedding planner at Bliss Weddings. We couldn’t be more happy with our choice to go with Ono Cuisine. The toughest part was choosing from all the delicious options he offered. From cocktail hour to dessert, our wedding was an upscale dining experience with local flare. Aside from the mind-blowing food, the catering staff was extremely attentive. Do not hesitate to go with Ono Cuisine for your Costa Rican dinner! -

Ono Cuisine recently catered my wedding in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Because we live in the US, having to hire a caterer without being able to taste test the food was a bit stressful to say the least. After my initial phone conversation with Torsten, I immediately knew that we were in good hands and we would not be disappointed with our decision.
Working with Torsten was a a pleasure! He was very professional and extremely flexible with menu changes. He was easy to communicate with and always responded in a timely manner.
In the end, we were absolutely blown away by what he and his team prepared. Everyone at the wedding was talking about the food and drinks for days afterwards! I would HIGHLY recommend Ono Cuisine to cater any and every event in the future! -

Torsten and Lucia & Onocuisine TOTALLY Crushed our daughter’s Costa Rican wedding in Hacienda da Pinilla March 1, 2019!
Little did my daughter Alex, fiancé Lee and I know the incredible journey we would begin last July when we met Chef Torsten & his wife Lucia at their stunning home high in the Costa Rican mountains! The warm hospitality and incredible foods & drinks they prepared for us that night gave us a glimpse into their incredible capabilities. They absolutely crushed the wedding in every single detail! Our guests were blown away with the creative presentations, Costa Rican flavors and innovative menu! It was truly beyond our highest expectations! We can never express our gratitude to them for making Alex & Lee’s wedding reception absolutely perfect in every detail!
Our heartfelt gratitude to all of their staff for the critical parts they played in this masterpiece!
Thank you to Chef Torsten, Lucia and staff - it was EVERYTHING!

WOW…..we are still absolutely blown away by how amazing the food, service, and presentation was for our wedding, all thanks to Chef Torsten at Ono Cuisine. My husband and I are both in the luxury catering business in Atlanta, GA (Bold Catering & Design), so to say that we know a thing or two about wedding catering ourselves would be an understatement. We had high expectations for our own wedding catering, and Ono Cuisine went above and beyond for us!!! The execution of the catering on wedding night was so much more than we could have ever expected. Every single guest RAVED about the food all weekend….including our own coworkers that are also in the catering business! It actually worked out perfectly for Lee and I to be able to sit down and eat our meal at the same table as all of our coworkers and General Manager. They could not get over how delicious everything was (and they are tough critics!). The ribeye was cooked PERFECTLY, all the Costa Rican flavors were so on point, and the colors and presentation were bar none. All of our guests were SO impressed, and it was the perfect meal that we wanted our guests to have to fully experience Costa Rica, We completely understand how difficult it can be to execute a 5-star dinner for 80 guests without a true catering kitchen in 90 degree heat, and outside in a field no less. However Chef Torsten, his wife Lucia, and their team did it with ease and gave everyone the best culinary experience of their trip, as well as any wedding that they have ever been to.
Not only did Ono Cuisine help to make our destination wedding completely unforgettable, it was also such a joy to get to know Chef Torsten and Lucia on a personal level as well. It was so special to create bonds with all of our amazing vendors that far exceeded the normal relationship of a client & vendor. They both are so passionate about what they do, their love for each other, and highlighting some of the best things about Costa Rica to all of our American guests!
If food, presentation, and service are important to you for your own wedding, then Ono Cuisine catering should be a no-brainer! We loved everything about our experience, and would recommend them a thousand times over. The best in Costa Rica (and maybe even Central & North America), no doubt!!!
