Order She Wrote did our invites, calligraphy, and signage. We could not be happier. They came out beautiful and Joanna was a PLEASURE to work with as we created the suite. We'd hire her again in a heartbeat. We are so glad we went with her. -

Joanna is truly a gem. If I could rate her work a 100 outta 5, I would! From the initial planning discussions to the editing process to receiving the final invitations, Joanna is INCREDIBLY detail-oriented and a MASTER at her craft. She's prompt, responsive, and professional. She perfectly executed our vision, while offering support and suggestions along the way! She was collaborative and helpful in liaising with Ana from the printer and her illustrator Tiffany. On top of our invitations, she illustrated our bar signs, which turned out GORGEOUS, and are now decor in our home. I couldn't recommend Order She Wrote more highly - THANK YOU JOANNA! -

Joanna is awesome! I know Joanna personally in NYC and I had the idea to use vinyl 45 records as our table numbers and immediately thought of her work. When I asked Joanna if she could do calligraphy on the ridges, (which I'd imagine is a tricky surface) she immediately sent a mock-up which was exactly what I had in mind! They were so beautiful and a great way to add some character and incorporate my husband and I's love for music into our wedding. Joanna is the best! -

Joanna was recommended to us by our venue and we're so glad to have had her help creating our custom wedding stationery suite! I had a very particular vision for the suite, and she continually impressed me with the work ethic, professionalism, and creativity that all made it happen! I LOVE her calligraphy, so of course, we used her for many of our day-of stationery needs too. The stationery was perfect for setting the tone of our wedding, and now I'm really looking forward to framing it somewhere in our house to look back on! Thanks, Joanna! -

Joanna was a dream to work with and her calligraphy is truly stunning. If like me, you’ve landed on Order She Wrote after scouring every wedding website and instagram for hours, stop here and hire Joanna. In retrospect, hiring Joanna was absolutely one of my best wedding choices. Joanna worked seamlessly with my invitation designer/letterpress company in order to put together the most fabulous invitation suite, which was in no small part thanks to Joanna’s calligraphy (used both throughout the letterpressed suite and full envelope addressing). When the pre-wedding tasks ramped up, Joanna proved to be upbeat and a breath of fresh air. Mind you, she had just gotten engaged herself when she excitedly took on the task of hand-lettering 250+ French Bulldog shaped escort cards and a variety of other tasks, and completed each quickly. Joanna was also consistently communicative, flexible, and her work product was flawless. I can not recommend Order She Wrote highly enough! -

Meg Sent on 07/23/2018After exploring the depths of the internet trying to find unique/different welcome signs, I stumbled upon a mirror welcome sign on Pinterest. I found Joanna through her Etsy page after searching for mirror calligraphy vendors (such a specific quest!) in the New York City area. She immediately offered to help and is only a few subway stops away from my apartment! We discussed exactly what wording/calligraphy style I wanted, the dimensions of my mirror, and logistics for dropping it off and picking it up. Within a short time frame, Joanna made an absolutely gorgeous sign with removable paint! Guests could not get over the beauty of the sign, which was arranged with flowers amidst a beautiful Central Park backdrop. Joanna is incredibly talented, very responsive, and a fast/efficient worker. The mirror was perfect, and I can’t thank her enough for her (beautiful!) talent! Thank you, Joanna! You are truly amazing!
