WOW! Katherine is an absolute dream to work with. She understood our vision and brought it to life. It was beyond what we could have imagined. We had a very specific vision of what we wanted visually but were flexible in terms of the types of flowers which allowed Katherine to use her skills and floral knowledge to deliver on our “wildflower” vision using amazing local flowers that were in season. The bouquets and floral arrangements brought me to tears! She also did an incredible floral bow tie for our officiant that held up well through pictures and the ceremony. If you’re looking for someone local who knows their stuff, Katherine and Orlaya Flora are the way to go!

We hired Orlaya for our reception near Hillsborough NC in Fall 2019. Kate and Katherine were a joy to work with and absolutely exceeded my expectations. We requested unwired garlands with eucalyptus and flowers and a few bouquets. I shared with them a color palette, some favorite flower varieties and a Pinterest board for guidance. We were blown away with the design and quality. Our celebration was intimate and not very formal and the floral design completely set the tone. We loved being able to have something local, seasonal and so personal. -

Katherine and Katie were a pleasure to work with and delivered the most beautiful flowers for our wedding. Throughout the process of deciding what flowers would be in season for our late November wedding they were helpful with suggestions and delivered exactly what I was envisioning. -

Orlaya Flora did a great job for our wedding back in October 2018. We emailed back and forth for a long time until we were set on my vision. We met for a consultation and again they visited the venue to scope things out. They set up Pinterest boards for us to discuss via email and made changes when needed. They got everything set up beautifully, made numerous changes to the final plans when requested, and were able to customize things for my needs. They also had large stands and other accessories, making things a bit easier. They decorated for the ceremony and the reception, and we were also able to reuse some of the pieces for the after party. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flower decorations were and wanted to know who the florist was. Before the wedding I was nervous about how my vision would come to life, but on the day of the wedding, I was most satisfied and joyful from their work. I would definitely recommend Orlaya Flora. -

Incredible farmers, flower artists, and communicators!
My husband and I hired Orlaya Flora as growers and florists for my bridal bouquet and for a garland for our wedding arbor. The flowers, and their design, were absolutely stunning. Katie and Katherine were responsive, thoughtful, flexible communicators and designers, even as we had to make very last-minute decisions about whether the bower garland would be inside or outside. From start to finish, the entire process of working with them was a joy. -

Excellent flowers and service from Orlaya Flora
Katherine & Katie were attentive from Day one. At our first meeting I knew they were going to be the perfect fit for our laid-back type of wedding. From giving me an outlook on pricing, as well as being flexible when our number of guests changed, they were attentive and answered all my questions very promptly. My bouquet was extremely gorgeous and the table arrangements were beyond fabulous. My favorite part was the large bouquets they made for the altar which framed our most gorgeous ceremony photos. -

Elegant simplicity
I had a vision of what I wanted the florals to look like for my wedding, but I also had a budget. Katie and Katherine were so good at sourcing the vases and providing the flowers that were just right for our wedding day. -
