  Where do I start...
  The couple got married on July 2nd 2022
  Family coming from far away on one of the most busy travel weekends of the year.
  
  Due to unforseen circumstances we missed our rehearsal window. The venue had another engagement but still allowed for the rehearsal to move forward because we were situated outside.
  
  The wedding was scheduled for outside with the potential for long standing rain we had to keep the inside option open. The venue tables need a little wiping down prior to moving but we had full access to adjust the room the way we needed. It turned out beautifully.
  
  The venue allowed us to hold wedding chairs until they could be transported back to the rental company.
  
  Ms. Peggy and Bobby - you guys are simply amazing in your know-how and communication.
  
  Inside catering - Ms. Barbara - the food was steller just as it was on the day of tasting. The bride and the groom said they did not get glaze carrots though. The food was served on time just as planned. Some guest opted not to go by table number which caused overcrowding around the buffet table. Even when the crowd was large and overwhelming the service staff still managed to move everyone along.
  
  We could not get a read on electical grounding inside the 113 year old building so there were some services that could not be fulfilled. Needless to say, these few bumps in the road did not stop a beautiful wedding from happening.

  Beautiful and great to work with!!

  I held my reception here in December 2018. They were so helpful and accommodating considering my wedding was a bit of a ways away. The timing had to be flexible to allow for decorating and setup beforehand and they worked with us. The venue is beautiful and just what we were looking for on the water. Go look to see it!!

  The Ortega River Club was perfect for our ceremony and reception. We had the ceremony was out by the water and the reception was inside. Our guests were able to use the entire facility and walk around the grounds. It is somewhat of a small facility but was able to handle our 175-200 crowd. We were able to decorate any way we wanted as long as we cleaned up afterward and we were able to get our deposit back. They do have a fully stocked cash bar if needed. There is also a large room where my girls and I were able to get ready in. Parking is a little tricky but the custodian is there to help park people on the grounds and around the park across the street. So much fun!!

  Very nice venue

  Our wedding planner found this venue, but we fell in love with it the moment we saw it. Peggy and Bobby were very professional and helpful during our planning process and the venue turned out to be nice the day of our wedding. Thank you for allowing us to have our wedding at the venue.

  Invasion of privacy

  We realize all venues have video cameras; however, this is the only private club where you are audioed. The rental agreement did not indicate audio cameras were in use. This is disturbing that all our private conversations could be accessed by how many people??? Disgusting???
