  Beautiful and Elegant.
  
  Ovando was wonderful!! They did my daughter's wedding a few weeks ago. We worked with Ali who was truly amazing. She is a warm caring person with such creative ideas. She was able to work within our budget yet keep the vision we wanted. We felt supported by her throughout the whole process and on the day of our wedding, the Ovando team made it all come together!! Our flowers were lush and beautiful...our ceremony was romantic...the Chuppah was gorgeous...there were so many special touches. It was truly beautiful and elegant!!

  Ovando was truly amazing from start to finish. From our first meeting till the day we walked into our venue. They truly went above and beyond on the decor and florals. I can not say enough about them. They brought my vision to life and I am still hearing from people about how amazing the flowers were!

  I have always been a fan of the flowers and arrangements at Ovando, It was also one of the places recommended to us by friends who had used them before, so there was absolutely no way I would use anyone else for my wedding day. I knew that I did not want the cookie cutter wedding and definitely didn’t want your traditional wedding flowers either I really wanted something modern and minimalistic. Ovando did not disappoint, they are hands down the best flower shop in the city! I totally recommend them to anyone and especially for any bride planning an 'out of the box' wedding!

  Amazing, I had no idea what I wanted and what I thought I wanted I found it hard to convey. They read my mind and came through with amazing flowers that I never even thought of. They will work with any budget and come up with amazing ideas for floor plans and decoration. AMAZING, Anne and Ashley are the best!

  Beautiful flowers and kind, talented and professional people. I was able to realize my goal of having amazing, colorful flowers that didn't fall in the 'fluffy, girly, rosey' box. They had creative ideas and respected by budget. The result was more than I could have hoped for.

  I worked with Monique from Ovando and she was so accommodating. I love her attitude. She was relaxed while getting things done at the same time. They were very accommodating with all my emails. Her responsiveness was the main reason I booked them.
  Everyone loved the flowers and asked who my vendor was . I had hydrangeas, orchids, and garden roses. The flowers have stayed fresh since the wedding- 2 days later so far. Couldn't have ask for a better florist !

  Amazing Flowers and decor

  Ovando did the floral and decor for our 3day south asian wedding! We planned a mexican style fiesta party one day where Ovando provided fun festive florals and a large taco bar as the focal decor! They are very creative and out of the box. Alex and Roy the senior designers are geniuses and have such great ideas to really blow you away!! The flowers themselves were fresh and great quality! For our wedding day, they created the most beautiful mandap ever seen— our guests and instagram seemed to agree! Alex thought of creating a beautiful floor to ceiling cherry blossom wall with a carved out mandap. I trusted them completely and they delivered. Thank you to the entire Ovando team for all your hard work!!

  I decided to go with Ovando for my flowers because they are known for doing non-traditional arrangements, which was exactly what I wanted & exactly what I got!!!! I absolutely LOVED my centerpieces - they were so unique & non-wedding - they were just beautiful.
  For my flowers & my bridesmaids, they were just beautiful & again, non-traditional. The flowers for the groomsmen & my dad were not exactly a good recommendation - they were too big & really didn't last the amount of time that they should have.
  The flowers for the pews in church were also beautiful - unique and non-wedding!
  The one challenge was the event coordinator that we worked with - it didn't seem as if she understood what I wanted, although she was a pleasure to work with. I did get a bit nervous at one point because I had to go back to their showroom twice (and have them re-do an arrangement while I was there the second time) before they delivered to me what I knew they were known for. At the end of the day, I was very happy, but it was a bit challenging getting there!

  Ovando provided high quality design and flowers for our wedding at the Central Park Boathouse. Julia and Christina listened to our color and design inspirations and were able to produce something amazing within our tight budget--which we really appreciated. It was a very seamless experience and by the end of the evening all our guests had taken every flower home because they were so beautiful and unique.

  They are expensive, but you get what you pay for with Ovando. We met with some pushy and even obnoxious florists before meeting with Ovando, so after meeting Rebecca was such a breath of fresh air, we decided to pay the higher price. She really got our vision, and I was very impressed with how she would keep both my husband's and my taste in mind throughout the process. Our centerpieces were drop dead gorgeous, my bouquet was incredible and the chuppah was dramatic and really helped to set the tone of the event. The flowers became like another guest at the party - they really brought the whole vision together without being obtrusive or gaudy. Be aware that Ovando is very busy during the summer, so you do sometimes have to wait for a reply and may have to follow up, but overall, it was an incredibly positive experience.

  I chose Ovando out of a choice of three florists working with my venue. We went with Ovando's signature modern orchid and calla lily arrangements. They looked incredible on our tables. Ovando also hung lanterns from multi-colored ribbons in the entrance of the venue. This looked very festive and beautiful. I can highly recommend Ovando for their reception flowers.
  My only disappointment with Ovando was with their bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres. I had asked for pink roses and ended up with red roses in both the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. The red roses were big and beautiful so it wasn't a big deal but certainly not what I originally envisioned. The flowers on the bridesmaids bouquets were falling out of the bouquet as soon as they were delivered. They didn't seem to be wrapped tightly enough by the satin ribbon. Luckily not many others fell from the bouquets. The corsage was small and didn't stay securely fastened. The boutonnieres were also small and red in color when pink was requested. They did ultimately match the bouquets so in the end it was not a problem but I was hoping for a softer pink look from my flowers. The centerpieces were awesome and inspirational but the bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres were average.

I had ordered a small bouquet/tussy mussy for one of the mothers, but when delivered it was a big as the bridal bouquet! My friend had to cut it down and remake it so it wouldn't look odd.
  
  Unless you want your friends to be remaking your flowers on your wedding day (that is, assuming you actually get them) I wouldn't use Ovando!

  Ovambo just did the flowers for our wedding. Half of them died before the end of the ceremony, some being in bridesmaid's bouquets and groomsmen's butaneers which was an embarrassment to us. They never called us back whenI called to tell them about the situation. BEWARE. Plus they were the most expensive flower vendor choice at the venue and the centerpieces were too small for the price. However the rest of the day went off without a hitch and the other vendors(hank lane band, sylvia wine stock cake, all star limo, tuxedo place) were wonderful and made for a great day regardless.
