Katelynn guided us through our wedding planning journey, and we felt so comfortable and listened to every step of the way. We chose a semi-package since we had picked out our venue and photographer in Santa Barbara already. This was one of her strong points, which was her ability to adapt to a new vendor area and establish positive connections with each of our vendors. We hope she continues to work in Santa Barbara, since it was a joy to work with her and see what ideas she developed after visiting our venue space. She brought a sense of creativity and great ideas when it came to bringing our vision of an intimate wedding to reality. Our day was so special and went smoothly thanks to her lead and direction. Special thanks to her associate, Courtney, as she was a great addition to the team and worked so well with the vendors! We highly recommend working with Own the Day.Own the Day Events's reply:

Katelynn and @ownthedayevents created the most beautiful baby shower of my dreams. I am so thankful for how Katelynn organized, planned and handled all of the details of my baby shower so my mom who was hosting could truly enjoy the event. There was no detail too small that Katelynn did not think of! I truly could not believe how much it felt like we were having tea in Wonderland! I cannot recommend Katelynn enough for your event. The entire day was seamless and will be forever one of my all time favorite days celebrating my little belly buddy. Thank you so much Katelynn, you truly are gifted!!!Own the Day Events's reply:

Katelynn was so on top of everything. The second she took over for the month of coordinating, she had zoom meetings, pickup and drop of times set with vendors, and already knew the who's who of the wedding party and family that would be attending the event and who should be kept apart! She was UNBELIEVABLE! Not to mention set up and take down were like magic, up and perfect one second, then mid-way through the reception dancing, she already tackled all table decor packing and it was done so tastefully! Without Katelynn, this wedding would have been a mess. She made everything fluid and beautiful and stress free! My husband and I will forever be grateful and in awe! -

Katelynn did a great job helping me put my wedding together. She offered advice & was always available to answer my questions. My wedding day went super smooth due to her help. Katelynn was nothing short of spectacular for our wedding. She met with us to do a venue walk through, was at the rehearsal, there early to set up decorations that we brought ourselves (actually she brought them as we gave them to her before the ceremony day so she also saved us from that!), and handled everything like a champ. She answered every question we had, continuously checked in with us in the month leading up to it to see how she could help us, distributed everything imaginable, and kept the timeline rolling. All of our vendors had positive things to say about her, loved interacting with her, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to help us organize our day. Katelyn brings a huge amount of creativity to every event she works on Along with the creativity she is top notch in her organizational skills and you never have to worry if things are being done! she definitely took the stress out of my event and I would use her again and recommend her to others in a heartbeat! -

So my husband and I got engaged and then married less than 6 months later. We didn’t have much time to plan. I knew my husband wouldn’t be much help, other than the music and a couple other things. I have known Katelynn for years and she has always gone above and beyond for me and my family. It was a no brainer to hire her for our wedding! Katelynn set up everything and made my life soooo much less stressful. I enjoyed every moment of my planning and when I felt stressed about something, Katelynn calmed me down and eased my mind. I would recommend Katelyn to anyone looking for a kind, caring, fun, and very well organized wedding/party planner.
