User1878367 Sent on 10/21/2014This is a small boutique with excellent prices and very down-to-earth women working there. We were on a first name basis the moment I walked in. They are not your stuffy typical bridal store. Their selection is not huge but I found my dress for an amazing price. They let me come back many times, often at a moments notice, to look at jewelry, veils and flower girl dresses. I loved working with them. -
User1775013 Sent on 08/21/2014I bought my dress from one of their sample sales and the dress (Maggie Sottero - Lexie) was in awesome condition. The staff was wonderful and made sure that you walked out with something you LOVED. I cant stress that enough! -

They were one of few stores in my area that carried the dress I fell in love with online, and after trying it (and a few others) on I left totally confident in my purchase. Can't wait to wear it in June!!! -
User1523879 Sent on 01/31/2014I got my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from p Lawrence. They were both Beautiful!!!!!! The owners are so sweet and helpful and I would recommend them to anyone. Also, their seamstress, Lola was great and had my dress altered in time, even though the designer shipped it out late. Amazing dresses, I love my dress and I LOVE the bridesmaid dresses!!!

Katie Sent on 09/15/2013I am so happy that I found my wedding gown at P. Lawrence!! Dixie and Amanda were both great to work with and provided a fun atmosphere for us to hang out in. After trying on dresses at P. Lawrence, I was pretty sure I had found "the dress" but I had one more appointment, so I wanted to go to the next store and make sure there wasn't another dress out there. When I realized I wanted to go back to P. Lawrence and get that dress, they were more than accomodating. When we got back a couple hours later, they knew which dress I wanted to put back on and had it hanging up and waiting for me.
Lola was an incredible seamstress - she even created a unique bustle that would compliment the design of my dress more so than the "typical" bustles. She was so understanding - each time I went in for a fitting, I never wanted to take my gown off! She never rushed me, and let me wander around the store until I was ready to change back into my street clothes. What a wonderful experience!! -

Megan Sent on 06/05/2013I could not say enough good things about the ladies at P Lawrence! They are all kind and attentive to the brides needs. I not only got my dress here but I also got my bridesmaids dresses and rented my groomsmen's suits as well. Every process went smooth. From fitting everyone to ordering the dresses and suits. They even worked with me when I had a bridesmaid that couldn't attend the wedding a few weeks before the event! Lola was able to get her dress fitted and ready for her in plenty of time! When we got my husband's suit the week before the wedding it was a little too small for him because he had gained some weight. P Lawrence was able to get the next size up to us in time for the big day! Overall, my experience with P Lawrence was fabulous! I would recommend P Lawrence to any bride looking for a bridal salon with excellent customer service!! -

Stephanie Sent on 11/12/2012Working with the ladies at P. Lawrence was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning! The whole experience from picking out my gown to my final fitting was wonderful. When I first went to P. Lawrence, I had already been to several shops in Northern VA (where I live) and was pretty much put off with how rude many of the shop owners were and how dishonest they were about telling me the designer and names of the dresses that I was trying on. When I went to P. Lawrence, my experience was completely different. I met with Mia and she was so warm and friendly and showed me many Maggie Sottero gowns. P. Lawrence has such a great selection of quality gowns it was hard to choose one. I loved so many of them. Mia did a great job helping me narrow down my choices, so I walked away with the perfect dress for me. She also worked to make sure I could afford the dress. By selling me the sample gown, Mia allowed me to have the dress I had been searching for without blowing my budget. I admit I was a bit nervous about buying a sample as the gown was about 6 sizes bigger than what I normally wear, but all those worries went away when I started working with P. Lawrence’s seamstress,Lola. She is amazing! She had my dress fitting perfectly and was able to do everything I wanted with it. She too was warm and friendly and you can tell she cares a lot about her work and making the brides happy. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with this bridal shop and I highly recommend it to other brides, even those who live about 40 minutes way. I promise it is worth the drive! The shop is adorable, the staff is friendly and you can tell they care about each of their brides. They truly make you feel special and will be able to get you an amazing gown at a great price. I will miss coming into the shop now that my wedding is over! -

User1027282 Sent on 11/26/2012I was SO happy with the ladies at P. Lawrence Bridal. When I got to the store, it was the fourth place I had been to that day. I was starting to think I wasn't going to find a dress I liked that was in my modest budget. When I tried on my third option, it was as though it was made for me. Then I learned that if I ordered the dress, even a rush order, it would not be ready until about a month AFTER my wedding day. I was crushed. Dixie and Mia immediatley called the designer and found out that there was one dress availale in stock. It was about three sizes too big but they assured me they could fit it to me. They weren't kidding. Lola, their seamstress is phenomenal, and so sweet. The dress came about two weeks before my wedding and she fixed it perfectly with time to spare. Everything turned out wonderfully. A few months after my wedding, my husband and I were going to Europe to have a second ceremony for my family there. I had the ladies at P. Lawrence send my dress away for cleaning. The cleaner promised it would arrive well before my flight. It still hadn't arrived on the day of my flight. Dixie called the delivery company, got the GPS location of the driver and drove to him to get the dress, all so that I could get the dress on time before my flight. Now that is service! The ladies there always made me feel welcome whenever I came. I am so thankful they were on our list. I would definitley recommend them! VT -
