    Thanks to Paper Heart Events my wedding day was flawless!!

    Holly and Kalen are absolutely amazing. Paper Heart events are the best at what they do. My wedding was flawless and ran without any issues. I had no worries or stress and was able to just enjoy the day. They helped me through every step and communication was so simple and efficient. Even my mother was blown away by their efficiency. I would recommend them to anyone!

    Wedding Planner - Kalen

    Kalen was absolutely amazing! The wedding would not have gone as smoothly without her. She was always on top of things and had figured out issues before I even had time to message her! I highly recommend Kalen Lewis to plan anyones wedding!

    Highly recommend Paper Heart Events!

    Holly helped make my wedding day so perfect! I'm a perfectionist and type-A personality, and Holly made me feel so at ease that everything would be taken care of. I still can't believe how beautiful our wedding was and how well it all came together. I was able to completely relax on my wedding day knowing that Holly had everything under control. On top of everything, she helped organize and clean up all of our ceremony decorations, so when it was all over there was minimal clean up for us to do - so thoughtful! I am so glad we chose Holly!

    Best Wedding Ever!

    We were married this August at the Adamson House in Malibu and Holly did an amazing job at our wedding. She was organized, efficient and knowledgeable. She was the best investment we made with the wedding and couldn't have done it without her. We planned our wedding from out of town and she always made us feel at ease after talking with her. The rehearsal and day of the wedding went smoothly and we had a perfect day thanks to Holly. From our first phone chat with her we knew we were in the right hands. Holly went out of her way on more than one occasion to help us and certainly beyond the call of duty.     We couldn't have managed without Holly!

    Holly is incredible and anyone is lucky to have her as their wedding planner/coordinator. From our first skype interview I knew she was the right planner for me and I looked no further! Holly is incredibly detailed, thoughtful and resourceful, as a type A bride she really made me feel at peace, I have a hard time trusting anyone with work I could be doing myself but with Holly I had zero concerns! Nothing went wrong the day of my wedding, it was perfect!! Holly handled a big wedding with many elements and was there morning until very late. She managed all of the little details I wanted seamlessly. All of her prep documents were incredibly helpful, and made me think of several things we hadn't even thought of. Holly is also very sweet and I was sad to no longer have daily correspondence with her. This woman and her team is amazing!!

    Ask yourself this: why do you want a coordinator? What are they supposed to do that you couldn’t (or shouldn’t) do by yourself? If keeping all tasks organized and providing peace of mind on wedding day is anything resembling your answer, look no further than Holly. We opted for the “month of” package, which we found to be the perfect combination of do-it-yourself spirit (for us) and professional organization (by Holly), all at a very reasonable price compared to other planners we researched in the area. Holly simply has a knack for event planning. She was more than willing to answer questions in the months leading up to the wedding, and was a kind-yet-firm guiding hand in the weeks prior. Finally, on the big day itself, Holly shines brightest. She was an admirable blur of motion at the wedding, determined to take care of things away from the spotlight so that we could kick back and enjoy ourselves (on her insistence, we even got to enjoy a delicious plate of food in peace!). It was an absolute pleasure to work with Holly at every step; would highly recommend.

    I can't say enough about how much I recommend Holly's services. In fact, I would venture to say that if you're reading this review and trying to decide whether or not to hire her, you need to stop right now and just do it, because Holly is the superwoman of all wedding coordinators. Looking back on our wedding from 3.24.18, I honestly can't fathom how we could have made it successful without her. She is extremely professional and very, very knowledgeable - she made so many useful recommendations for us with both vendors and setup, and it took about 90% of the stress off my shoulders just knowing I had her on my team to provide input and guidance. She's incredibly organized as well. She made sure we stayed as close to our timeline as possible, and everything went so smoothly - many members of my bridal party, who are all recently married and/or have been in numerous weddings, were extremely impressed with her. I actually met Holly when I was in my best friend's wedding back in 2016 and she was their coordinator. When I saw her in action, I knew I had to have her for my wedding too. Best decision I made (besides marrying my husband of course). Holly, we cannot thank you enough for making our day the best day it could possibly be. You're a rock star. THANK YOU!!!

    HOLLY! = WONDERFUL! Best investment we made for our New Years Eve Wedding 12.31.17!

    In short, we had a relatively quick engagement.
    July-Dec 31. (5 months). EEkKKK!

    I am a nurse & was recently hired on for two new jobs. Therefore, I had limited time to do the "heavy lifting." (Picking out vendors DJ, Floral, Transportation, Make-up Team, etc.) We already had the venue but I needed someone to steer the way for me! Timelines, Deadlines, Payments, Scheduling, picking trusty vendors, etc. (Esp since we were married on a holiday).

    Holly truly has the most WONDERFUL PICK of 805, 301, 818 Vendors! EVERY single company she recommended was WONDERFUL! They were so easy to work with, kind, happy, made my experience so fun.

    Additionally, I am an extremely detailed person. Therefore, I liked holding the reins for things like invitations, specialty napkins, cups, New Years Eve Garb, specialty desserts, cake topper, our photo booth, meals, etc.

    However, when it comes to hosting a 170+ party you REALLY need someone who understands your vision, thinks 5 steps ahead of you, and can handle LOTS of personalities, drunks, and possible chaos!

    As the BRIDE, I can truly say she kept ALL of the craziness away from me & executed EVERYTHING I organized for her. (And trust me, it was a lot of stuff!) She was also wonderful in handling my loving yet crazy mother....& trust me that is a high regard!

    As a PERSONAL EVENT THROWING ENTHUSIAST I HIGHLY recommend HOLLY as an investment to your day XOXO

    Holly is a daymaker and a hero.


    I should have written this review a long time ago, as we're coming up on our first anniversary, but actually my opinion of Holly has only grown in the year since our wedding. I never planned to have a coordinator/planner - I was always excited for the planning and the binders and doing it myself, and saving the money seemed like a perk. Another one of our vendors encouraged me to contact Holly anyway, and I am SO glad I did. It was the single smartest thing we did for the entire event, and is now a legend among our families.

    From the first conversation, Holly was very real and transparent with us. She was factual and honest, but never pushed us to do anything any differently than we wanted. She was very respectful of our ideas, offering suggestions and potential complications we hadn't considered, but also enthusiastically supporting the things that mattered to us. She was organized while being human and relatable, a combination that's crucial for anyone associated with the wedding.

    I was not stressed at my wedding. I know not everyone can say that, but honestly, so many guests commented on how calm and happy I seemed that day (and I am NOT a "calm" person), and it was because I knew Holly had it. From the moment we handed off all our decor to her the day before after the rehearsal that she ran like a well oiled machine (even though our dog was the ring bearer), we just got to enjoy ourselves. Everything was handled at every turn - everything was in its place, she handled the details I hadn't even thought of, the decor was set up perfectly, no one was late or missing - she even made sure there was no drama, which is above and beyond her job. The venue cut our cake early, and I don't know what magic Holly worked but there was a cake cutting and it was a great story instead of a total disaster. She also didn't do any of this in a bossy or intrusive way - if you weren't our family or wedding party, you wouldn't even have known she was there.

    There have been several weddings in our family since ours, and at literally every one people have commented on how great Holly was at ours, and how smoothly everything went. She absolutely MADE our wedding, and I am eternally grateful.

    Put your mind at ease. Your special day is in the best hands.

    Not every wedding needs a full-on planner, but every wedding should consider hiring a day of coordinator. And if you are looking for someone to entrust your special day to, Paper Heart Events is the group you should work with. We worked with Holly for most of the process; scheduling, planning, making sure we have everything we will need for the wedding day. And you don’t realize how much goes into a wedding, until someone like Holly hands you a checklist of all the things you should think about. She was prepared for everything and helped guide us to make some very smart decisions regarding the details of the wedding. A few weeks before the big day, Holly let us know that she would be at another event, so she would have her assistant Chloe handle our wedding. We were a little hesitant at first because we hadn’t worked with her at all up until this point and wasn’t sure how ready she would be to take on our event. Any hesitation we might have had was put at ease immediately the day of the wedding. Chloe was on point with every detail. Every minute of that wedding she was ready for. We didn’t have to lift a finger for anything. If something needed to be done, Chloe was on it. She even mailed out our wedding license for us while we whisked ourselves away on our honeymoon. You always tend to hear about some of the things that go wrong at weddings, but our wedding, was perfect. And we believe a lot of that is due to the love and care Holly and Chloe took with one of the best days of my life. Marrying my best friend couldn’t have been more perfect with anyone else running things behind the scenes.

    I am in LOVE with Holly! She was on top of every detail of our wedding day. My husband and I had no worries the day of. Even our wedding party and families were telling us how great she was at handling every aspect of the wedding and getting things done. If anything went wrong the day of, I had NO idea. We can't thank you enough Holly! I HIGHLY recommend!!!

    From the beginning, my Mom and I wanted to do majority of the wedding planning and design. As a result, we wanted a coordinator who was not only organized, but could understand and execute our vision. From the moment we concluded our phone consultation, I knew Holly was the one for us. She was concise, organized, and kind. We selected the Wedding Management (aka Day-Of) service which included: phone/email communication, three in-person meetings, rehearsal coordination, family/wedding party schedule, custom wedding timeline, setup/teardown etc.. I brought both my parents to the first meeting and she made us each feel heard and included. When it came to vendors, I researched and booked each of them. Mom and I gathered all decorations and cataloged our desired setup of each table along with the ceremony/reception floor plan. Holly guided us along the planning process with questionnaires, checklists, and deadlines. Those questionnaires brought so many details and ideas to mind I hadn’t thought of - so helpful.

    Wedding Day was my prayer and dream come true. Holly made every detail we had envisioned flow with ease and she commanded a wonderful, organized presence. No vendor, family, or wedding party member was out-of-the-loop because Holly was there with answers and a schedule for everyone. Two words: Hire Holly!

    Holly was a PHENOMENAL partner in creating an amazing wedding for us! We worked with her on a fusion wedding for which she helped us bring our vision to life. From the beginning, we really respected Holly's direct and honest approach - she made us feel at ease that she said what she meant and didn't try to sugarcoat. Holly had terrific vendor recommendations across a wide range of price points, and even helped us find and negotiate a strong rate for our dream venue! Her eye for detail was especially useful during meticulous review of contracts. When things didn't go as planned, we were so comforted by Holly's help in troubleshooting all issues. Even when our venue sprung last minute surprise rules on us, Holly kept her cool and helped us come to an agreement on solutions which appeased both parties.

    Holly is especially meticulous and organized - as a couple who loves Excel spreadsheets and organization, we loved working with someone who always had the details and logistics under control. On the wedding day, she kept everything running on time and kept us calm even when issues arose. Not an easy feat for a multicultural wedding of 300 with demanding families! We were able to let go and enjoy the wedding and even after-wedding questions and issues because Holly had our back and shielded us from stress. On top of all that, she's just a joy to work with - so funny and caring! We miss having a reason to hang out with her now that the wedding is over! We're so grateful to Holly for her talent, friendship, and leadership and hope to have a reason to work with her in the future!

    Holly was absolutely essential to the success of our wedding. We started working with Holly about 8 months before our wedding and mostly communicated via phone and email since we were planning an LA wedding from NYC. As we started nearing the day, Holly constantly checked in with us, reviewed timelines and made sure we were on track with everything we were responsible for. She is one of the most organized people I have ever met, and she never let anything slip through the cracks.

    Throughout the planning process, whenever I mentioned an idea that I liked, she constantly was on the lookout for inspiration, potential vendors, cost effective ways to do what I wanted, etc.She even offered items of her own for us to use for the wedding that ended up making a huge difference and also saved us money.

    Additionally, Holly has done so many weddings that she was not only familiar with the customs of Jewish weddings and knew exactly what was needed for all the traditions and even reminded us of what we needed. Beyond that, she had actually worked at our venue many times before and knew the space very well, which was super helpful during the planning process.

    In the final month, Holly took over all communication with our vendors, sorting out the timelines and coordinating with everyone that would be part of our event so we didn't have to think about it. Earlier in the week before, Holly came and picked up all of our decor items so she was ready with all of our items and set up in advance. She kept us on schedule the whole day and throughout the event, even making time for us to quickly and efficiently say hello and take a picture with all 20 tables.

    Between family and friends, we've been both IN weddings and in attendance of a dozen weddings and after talking to other newlyweds, we realize how rare it is to find a planner that is as effective, helpful, organized and integral for a flawless wedding day.

    We met Holly back in December 2015 and we instantly knew she was the perfect person to help plan our January 2017 wedding. We wanted to have a unique wedding in a venue that had a lot of character all while being within our given budget. Through Holly’s connections, we were able to find a special place where we ended up getting married. We would have never found it on our own if it wasn’t for Holly. She is also very good at reading people and understanding what they want. During the whole process of planning if we didn’t like something she could tell right away, sometimes even before we could find the words to explain why we didn’t like it. Holly is very efficient with your time and she doesn’t waste time on things she knows you don’t like. For example, we cut out a few of the traditional wedding things and not once did Holly try to convince us to include things we didn’t want. She’s also very honest, if you are thinking of including something in your wedding that will probably make you go over budget or that will make your day way more stressful, she tells you and she will even try to come up with more suitable alternatives. Both of our families and friends couldn’t stop talking about how lovely our venue was and how much they appreciated Holly being on top of everything. Holly is incredibly organized and extremely professional which allowed for everything to run smoothly. Even at 9 months pregnant (on the day of the wedding) she didn’t miss a beat! She gave all of our wedding party an itinerary that helped keep all of us on time. Our wedding day was so much fun, our guests can’t stop raving about how much fun they had, our families were so impressed by Holly and all of her recommended vendors.     Holly was one of the best investments that we made for our wedding. She made planning a wedding from out of town as easy as it could have been. As big time procrastinators, Holly kept us on the ball and made sure we had everything covered that we never would have thought to have on our own.

    She is super personable and organized. She is straight-forward when expectations are unrealistic, and is full of suggestions to help pull off your ideas.

    She executed our semi-DIY reception perfectly --- even our Korean Tea Ceremony!

    The day of the wedding went so smoothly, and she made sure that we didn't have to worry about at thing.

    Her assistants were also amazing as well.

    The only thing we regret is not hiring her for full services.

    We enjoyed every moment we spent with her on the phone, video chat, and in-person planning.

    I cannot praise Holly enough! She was incredible to work with on every level. My husband and I got married at Newhall Mansion where they require a Day-Of-Coordinator. THANK GOD they do and that we found Holly because we couldn't have pulled this day together without her.

    From our initial meeting up until the very last moment, Holly was super transparent and communicative with us. She is incredibly organized down to every last detail, which we really appreciated. Everything we forgot, she thought of and was one step ahead! It was such a relief having her with us on the day of our wedding.

    This is a woman who definitely loves what she does, and it shows. We found her online and honestly didn't know much about her before hiring Holly. She not only went above and beyond our expectations, but she is also super cool, open-minded and fun! We loved her.

    I know, for sure, there were some issues with flowers (I did my own)... last minute details that I, the bride, left unfinished... little knick knack problems that Holly totally maneuvered through with ease and let me feel as if the day was perfect.

    All she really cared about on the day of our wedding was that my husband and I were having the best time ever - and we did:) Her assistant, Carly was also fantastic. Super sweet and a perfect compliment to Holly's positive energy. We were so happy to have them both and would absolutely recommend Holly and her team to our friends and family, you and yours.

    Holly did a wonderful job as our wedding coordinator. We had so many wonderful compliments the day of the wedding with how the flow and timeline was. She kept everyone on track and went above and beyond to get things done! The decor was beautiful! She saw exactly what we wanted and help to create the perfect setting!! She helped so much during vendor meetings from picking out rentals to designing our centerpieces! We are so happy we hired her and can not say enough great things about her and her services!! We would highly recommend her!!

    We got married in July 2016 (this is a long overdue review!) and Holly was the best. Her extensive lists and notes were exactly what I needed to feel like everything (and everyone, my rowdy vendors and bridal party included) was under control. As far as I am blissfully aware, everything went off without a hitch thanks to her magic.

    She worked really well with my venue and challenging vendors/wedding party. She was the perfect hybrid of "sweet lady" to my grandma/parents and "drill sergeant" to my rowdy folks/people that needed it. She made me feel ready leading up to the day so I could relax and take it in. I was able to confidently direct all vendor questions to her because I knew she understood my end goal and would know what to do/say to make it happen.

    We threw quite a few challenges at her. Pre-wedding, we waded through a long list of cultural differences and were able to come up with an executable action plan. Holly made sure the plan became reality and was ready for anything (even when my bridesmaid ripped a hole in my dress during the reception, Holly was right there with safety pins to fix me up!)

    So, thank you! We very much appreciated all your work and help to make our special day extra-special.

    Since our wedding two weeks ago, my husband and I have repeatedly said that Holly is the BEST investment we made during our wedding planning process. I literally don't know how to put into words the value of Holly's hard work before and during our special day. But I'll try! :) I was super questionable about hiring a wedding coordinator for our wedding. My husband and I are both in the hospitality industry and thought we might be able to find a friend or do all the planning ourselves. (That was naive of us) However, once I had my first conversation with Holly, I was sold. Not only is she super organized and detailed- oriented, she has a very specific method for how she creates a successful wedding for each couple. She gets to know the couple and their priorities for their wedding, giving her the ability to make any necessary decisions during the day of, so the couple will not be bothered and able to enjoy their experience. What more can you ask for?! Not only that, but Holly was completely open to OUR vision of the day. She places no judgement on how the wedding "should" be or what is typically traditional. She truly wants it to be your experience. Holly was prompt in her responses, kept me on track and remembered everything we wanted out of our day. She even drove my husband and I to our rehearsal dinner so we didn't have to worry about taking a car! She just goes above and beyond in every possible way. Our wedding day was completely seamless. Everyone says at least one thing will go wrong on the day of your wedding, just plan for that and expect it...I can honestly say, nothing went wrong during our wedding day and I completely attribute that to Holly! The timing was impeccable and we had the best experience of our life. In addition, even our families, wedding party and guests continually commented on what an expert Holly is! Please take my word for it and hire this woman! You will not be disappointed!!!

    Holly Orr (Paper Heart Events owner) is amazing! My wife and I got married at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu this past spring. We found that Holly was easily one of the best investments we made for the wedding. This is coming from two people who initially weren't convinced we even wanted a coordinator. We had to get one because it was mandated by our venue. Luckily, we found Holly and have no idea what we would have done without her.

    She is supremely organized and knowledgeable both about weddings in general, and with respect to details on mine and my wife's wedding. We don't consider ourselves to be high-maintenance, but our event did require a lot of attention to detail due to a number of moving pieces, such as several large scale DIY projects. Holly took detailed notes, and our wedding went off without a hitch! She was also incredible resource in finding fantastic vendors (Photographer, Officiant, etc) and even saved us a little money by helping us negotiate venue fees.

    She went above and beyond, going out of her way to pick up items from us to store before the wedding. She even provided a couple of her own items to help with decor we didn't think to get.

    Perhaps one of the most important ways she (and her wonderful assistants) helped us, was in making sure we were present and got to experience our own wedding. We've heard from so many other couples that they didn't get to experience their entire wedding b/c they got distracted or forgot certain things, etc. Holly made sure we got fully fed, got photos with everyone at our reception and ceremony, time on the dancefloor, and time alone to reflect on our night. In addition, we had a tight schedule and Holly did a great job of making sure we remained on time for everything, despite the wedding craziness.

    Lastly, we found Holly to be a very warm, friendly, and professional person. We value her hard work and enthusiasm and VERY highly recommend her to any and every bride and groom in need.

    Holly did an exceptional job!! I hired Holly just about a month prior to our wedding and it was the best thing I could have done. She is very organized, experienced and professional. She really is the reason why my husband and I got to enjoy our day. She went above and beyond to make sure she knew every little detail of our wedding so that we would not have to worry if anything went wrong the day of. Even our guests were wowed at how good she was, she was well worth our money. You will not be disappointed with her services.

    I was looking for a day of wedding coordinator when I was introduced to Holly. I only had a few weeks before the our big day and I literally dumped all of my planning, notes, ideas and vendors lists into her lap and said take over and she did. Everything I needed was taken care of and she went above and beyond to make sure that is was. In fact we were texting at midnight before the wedding when I had a question and I thought no way would she answer and to my surprise and relief she did. I really do not know how brides do it without help and I am so thankful to have had Holly's help. She was always responsive, knowledgeable and had a handle on things. We had a pretty big wedding party and she just kept everyone in line and organized. I think one of the biggest things that I was so impressed with was how she just took over for me, contacting the vendors, working with the venue, setting up the wedding etc as if she had been helping me plan it all along. You cannot go wrong if you book her services!!!! Thank you Holly!
