  Jamie is the best!

  I worked closely with Jamie to keep our dessert bar within budget, for a large group. She helped get so creative on which desserts were fan favorites, how many, etc. and I so appreciate the extra time she spent with me. The wedding cake was stunning and the desserts were delicious! Thank you Jamie!!

  Beautiful and Tasty Desserts!

  We contacted PMF Bakery quite last-minute for our wedding dessert and cutting cake, but they were very quick to respond and delivered on all of our needs. Our mini cupcakes and panna cotta were a huge hit with our guests, and our small cutting cake was exactly the cake we needed. Everything tasted perfect! Thank you PMF for offering our guests such tasty treats, and for being so quick to respond last minute! Would highly recommend.

  The best part of the our wedding day!

  I could not give higher praises to Pardon my French bakery for giving us such a wonderful cake and dessert bar for our wedding. They were so easy to work with, and delivered the most amazing product - they definitely stand out beyond other bakeries in the area! We chose a small cake, mini cupcakes, cannolis, and macarons to fill our dessert table and all our wedding guests could not have been more impressed! The bakery helped us pick out such unique flavors and delivered everything to our venue with ease! Their cake was so moist, and frostings not too sweet - everything they made was to die for - we can't wait to plan another event so we can hire them again!

  Awesome treats for a rustic feast!

  You might really excuse your french after tasting these sweet delicacies. Jamie was very friendly, professional, and flexible. We got bomb cupcakes to taste our cake flavor and our cake was just as we hoped for and more! Thank you so much for helping us make our special day a reality! We appreciate you and looking forward to working with you again!

  Macaroon Cake

  My wife and I were scrambling for a baker for our wedding. We spent an entire day visiting bakeries when Lalo & Jamie came to the rescue. We sampled a few cupcakes & macaroons and were instantly sold for Pardon My French to make our wedding cake. Jamie browsed their calendar and we lucked out with them having an opening the weekend of our wedding. We went with a dessert bar so that our guests could have a variety. Everything they made was delicious, several types of macaroons, cupcakes, and bars. We at first wanted a natural looking cake but came up with the idea of having it look like a giant macaroon to complement Lalo's style. As we sampled the desserts for selection, he started sketching out the idea and was up for the challenge, planning the cake layers and complimentary frosting. When it came to our big day, we were totally amazed by his work. The cake came out beautiful and tasted delicious as well as the macaroons, with the just the right amount of crisp flaky.

  Delicious desserts!

  Best bakery in SLO county! Pardon my French provided desserts for my wedding in June and they were amazing! We had seasonal fruit tarts, salted caramel cupcakes, and chocolate macarons that were to die for! Our one regret from the wedding is not eating more of those macarons. Pardon my French was on time in delivery of our desserts and professional with getting set up. Definitely going back for some desserts next time were in town!

  Amazing and talented!

  These people are amazingly talented! We first met the owner when we did the cake tasting. We brought my son along who also got to do some tasting. They were so accommodating to having a child be a part of the process, and after sitting there for awhile we realized just how intertwined and connected we all were in the community together. We were so happy to have chosen a local business who was connected to the community. They are just wonderful people with a wonderful business.
  
  We did mini cupcakes, macaroons, and a 6 inch cake to cut. We had guests going back for more throughout the night. There wasn't one dessert left at the end of the night. We had so many compliments on the flavors and the bite size appeal to everything. We did a dessert bar which was a huge hit. The cake was beautiful and delicious! We couldn't have asked for anything better!

  Delicious everything!

  We didn't really care for a wedding cake, but once we met with Pardon My French & had a tasting with them, that all changed! Everything they made was delicious! We wish we didn't make plans with our dessert cookies already because their cookies are to die for! Especially the monster cookie with cookies n cream, oatmeal, chocolate chips, ugh it's making me drool right now! Anyway - we decided to have our cake made my Lalo.
  
  We ordered a two tier wedding cake (oreo on top & pumpkin spice carrot cake on bottom)! We loved how they allowed our cake to represent us (his on top, hers on bottom).
  
  SLO was a destination wedding for us becaue we live in the bay. They were very responsive since the first day we reached out to the week of our wedding. They made it simple & easy to plan with & we greatly appreciated that.
  
  We are very grateful with how Jaime worked with US. Sometimes parents can try to give their two cents & somehow they think it's their wedding (lol jk, not really) & Jaime did a phenomenal job reaching out to us & asking us what we wanted as opposed to what our parents wanted.

  Amazing cakes and desserts!

  From the first time we tried their desserts at the Central Coast Bridal Expo, we knew we found who we wanted to have make my daughter's wedding cake and desserts. And then we made an appointment for a tasting, OMG from the first bite to the last it was so delicious! Our daughter was married on 10-20-18, the sweetheart cake and all the desserts were gorgeous, but not only were they gorgeous and beautiful they tasted amazing and so delicious! All of our guests loved everything and said how delicious the French macaroons, the cupcakes and tarts were!!
  Lalo and Jamie are super nice and were so easy to work with, they are great! Thank you so much!!

  Cake was amazing!

  We hired Pardon my French to bake our wedding cake! It was nothing short of amazing. It was so beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned! I didn't want to eat it, with how beautiful it looked. Not only was the cake beautiful it tasted just as great! They were great to work with and were reasonably priced!

  My husband and I were so incredibly happy with our cake and dessert bar from Pardon My French Bakery for our wedding! The cake was stunning and delicious, and it was everything we had envisioned for our wedding cake! Jamie and Lalo were so easy to work with and very helpful as well!   We used Pardon My French Bakery for our cookie favors and they came out so great!!! I honestly still have people telling us how great they tasted (like how they were some of the best cookies they ever had) and how it was such a nice surprise to find at their seat. I had them make these in a custom CA shape with a heart for San Luis Obispo in gold icing and help tie a ribbon with a note thanking our guests. Love how they turned out and they were very reasonable in price!

  Wow! Pardon My French absolutely blew away our guests at our wedding that they catered with desserts and breakfast pastries. We tried five different dessert vendors during the weekend we chose them and we knew right away that they were the one. Jamie and Lalo were incredibly flexible working with whatever we wanted. So many people came over to us during the wedding to let us know how tasty everything was. It was all arranged absolutely beautiful as well. We highly recommend Pardon My French, whether you’re planning an event or just looking to drop by for a snack!

We gave them a lot of freedom with ideas because we didn't have a lot of set wants other than knowing we wanted a variety of desserts. Everything tasted amazing. We got tons of compliments from our guests. The cupcakes were especially good, I love the frosting they use and I'm not a big frosting person. The baklava and macarons were also big hits.

  I hired Lickety Split for my wedding last month and they are a dream to work with. I booked them with the previous owner and I'm so happy that Lalo and Jan have taken over the business and are the new owners. Jan always responded promptly to my emails and my tasting appointment was so fun! We had a cutting cake that was gorgeous, 2 types of mini cupcakes and baklava for each guest. The cake and cupcakes were amazing but the baklava was beyond!! All night and the day after the wedding my guests were raving about the baklava. Most of them had never had it before and were wowed. Thank you so much Lalo and Jan for a great experience.

  WOW! Is the word that comes to mind when thinking about Lickety Split Bakery!! Literally THE BEST cupcakes I have ever tasted! Even the gluten free cupcakes! My husband and a huge portion of his family are allergic to wheat and have to eat gluten free. We ordered 150 ALL gluten free cupcakes and they were absolutely perfect AND delicious!! The cakes were so moist and the frosting was creamy and delightful! Our guests raved about how delicious they were! Jamie and Lalo are absolutely amazing! They are the sweetest couple, and just a joy to work with! They were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our day was the absolute best! They had wonderful suggestions, and were willing to do anything we wanted and more! There is no other bakery for us! We will ALWAYS use Lickety Split for all our dessert needs!

  Lickety Split Cupcakes are bomb. We had 300 of their mini-cupcakes for our May wedding and they were demolished! We chose Salted Caramel, Margarita, Strawberry, and Chocolate, with a 6" red velvet cutting cake. Everything was incredible and moist. She was very responsive to any questions I had throughout the process and was very reasonably priced. The husband and I are already planning a trip to Grover beach so we can relieve our wedding through cupcakes!

  Lickety Split Cupcakes are bomb. We had 300 of their mini-cupcakes for our May wedding and they were demolished! We chose Salted Caramel, Margarita, Strawberry, and Chocolate, with a 6" red velvet cutting cake. Everything was incredible and moist. She was very responsive to any questions I had throughout the process and was very reasonably priced. The husband and I are already planning a trip to Grover beach so we can relieve our wedding through cupcakes!

  These were by far the best cupcakes we (my husband and I) and most of our guest ever had. We kept hearing how wonderful the lemon and strawberry cupcakes were. So much so that we cant wait to head back to the area and try some more!! The set up was amazing and Lickety Split was so easy to work with. Emails were responded to right away and everything was set up the day of with no problem. Thank you for making our day that much more special!!!

  Lickety Split did the cupcakes for our wedding. We eat here all the time, so we knew their quality is amazing. Jan and the gang are so professional and fun! Everyone wanted to know where they could go to buy them. They have customers in us for life!

  Jan did an amazing job. the treats were gone jn less than an hour and tasted great. she made everything I asked for and they looked beautiful.

  Lickety Split provided the most perfect mini cupcakes and cake topper for my event! Jan was so helpful to work with from everything from the tasting to making sure she had my exact vision down to create at my reception site. These cupcakes are so amazing!!

Jan was willing to change my order up until two weeks before the date, which was great because she often times makes seasonal flavors that weren't available when we did our tasting 8 months before the wedding date. Lickety Split not only has amazing cupcakes but great customer service and I would definitely recommend them if you're in the market for cupcakes for your event!

  I originally booked Lickety Split before the new owners took over to do both my cupcakes and GF cutting cake for my wedding. The new owners are very nice, professional and responsive, but after our tasting, I decided I needed to find another vendor for my cupcakes because the new owners flavors were bland and were not "OMG amazing!" like my original tasting. Appearance and presentation were unchanged, but flavor plays a huge role in any decision relating to desserts. I had to have a gluten-free cutting cake, so I had Lickety Split still make that for me. Again, the presentation of the cake looked amazing with their rosettes (and added flowers from my florist), and to everyone's surprise, I only had a 6" edible cake, but the baker was able to decorate a fake 2nd tier to make the cake look more grand. However, the taste of the cake was just not up to par for me. The chocolate cake (gluten free) itself was decent, but the frosting (italian buttercream) was too light and I felt like you couldn't really taste anything. My husband agreed. I really wanted cream cheese frosting, but to do the rosettes they told me I couldn't do that. I think the flavor/taste and my overall opinion may have been different with the cream cheese frosting.
