  Two Very Happy Alumni

  Being very proud NC State grads, we knew we wanted to get married in Raleigh. When we found out that we could get married on campus - we were sold! From the first meeting with Adelaide to weeks after our wedding, we felt so taken care of and every one of our expectations was exceeded! Adelaide was a joy to work with and no detail was too small. We planned our wedding from the west coast and the team was flexible and understanding about our specific circumstances. We were able to relax and truly enjoy each moment because we knew everything was in the best of hands. We cannot recommend the Park Alumni Center, Adelaide Stallings and the team enough. Thank you for the most amazing day!

  Perfect venue!

  From our first meeting to the reception, Adelaide Stallings and the Park Alumni team were absolutely fantastic to work with. The Alumni Center offered everything the bride and groom envisioned for the wedding day. No detail was overlooked, the timeline was executed flawlessly, and the guests are still raving about the food and the atmosphere. Gorgeous venue!

  Reception of My Dreams

  The Park Alumni Center was the BEST location for my wedding. Working with Hannah was amazing as she helped to bring all of the elements together and there was no request too small. The food was amazing!! I am a tough food critic and absolutely wanted food that was good for the amazing. When I say the food was AMAZING! The guests loved the food and talked about it all night. Everyone from the venue was very responsive and took care of us all night. So many great amenities with this venue. The venue itself is elegant and breath taking. The cost is very reasonable comparative to other venues in the area. If you are a student or alumni, definitely pay the $50 for the membership as it saves you even more money when booking! Also, the State View Hotel next door is beautiful and an awesome place for your guests to stay at for the reception. Absolutely gorgeous venue and I had the wedding of my dreams. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the venue. I would choose this vendor again and again! If you are looking for a venue in the Raleigh area, please look here!

  Perfect Venue

  We were so happy with choosing the Park Alumni Center for our wedding. The ballroom and fireplace were the perfect space for our Christmas wedding. Hannah and the rest of the PAC Staff were amazing to work with and would highly recommend this venue!

  Beautiful ballroom for the price

  If you can join the alumni society, do so before booking. For $50 you will save yourself hundreds on the venue location in member discounts. The food is amazing and the staff is super helpful. The venue itself is beautiful, so you don't need to go crazy with decoration, although you certainly have the space for it if that's your style. Pretty, pretty, pretty.

  Hannah was incredibly helpful and promptly answered our many questions. She made it easy to plan our layout even from across the country, and was working with us right up to our wedding day to plan for the rain (it didn’t rain!). The Alumni center itself is just stunning, and the gorgeous marble and wood decor almost don’t need further decoration. They had lots of choices for table layout and setting colors, and were helpful in working with us to rent an arch and special order napkins. As a couple flying in from California for our wedding, we felt the Alumni center looked wonderful without a lot of work on our part, which was perfect. We also liked their location, and the ease of using the ceremony site the night before for a rehearsal.
  We tasted the food from the Alumni Center and were very impressed by the quality and detail in each dish. We were even more amazed when all the food was as excellent the day of the wedding, when they were cooking for 100! The beans were fresh and crisp, the chicken was still moist, the flank steak was very flavorful. The serving staff was very attentive and made sure we made the most of the buffet. We also appreciated their thoughtfulness by having a plate ready for us at the start of dinner, and for packing us a leftover package at the end. We chose their consumption bar, and the options were very reasonable and they made accurate recommendations for how many bartenders we would need. We also liked that we could special order beer, as we both like to have nice craft beer. In terms of quality, value, and service, we couldn’t ask for anything more from the Park Alumni Center.

  I could not have asked for more beautiful wedding. Adelaide is amazing and really knows how to get things done. We planned our wedding here in two months and it was SO beautiful. The staff here is amazing as well and help to coordinate the wedding the whole time. It was amazing. Thank you so much!

  a PERFECT wedding!

  Our wedding day was PERFECT thanks to Adelaide and her staff at The Park Alumni Center! We chose this venue because my husband is an alumnus of N.C. State, but we could have not anticipated how amazing our big day would be! From start to finish Adelaide made the entire process so easy for us! We didn’t have to worry about anything on the day of our wedding, and not a single detail was overlooked. The venue was immaculate, the food was delicious, and the staff was so kind! Our guests are still raving about it!

  Our daughter and son-in-law's reception was held at the Park Alumni Center. It could not have been more beautiful or more fun. Adelaide does an excellent job or making sure that events are set up with care and perfection. The staff were all easy to work with and were accommodating to our wishes and ideas. Weddings are expensive, period. But the Park Alumni Center was a good solid competitor economically. Their comprehensive package makes it a good value when compared to other venues that may appear more affordable, but are really not once all the individual items and services are included. If you are an NC State Alum, there are some costs savings by becoming a Park Alumni Center member. Our event was truly wonderful!

  The venue is elegant and beautiful. The event staff is exceptional. We had many compliments on the food and beverages. We were amazed at the amount of staff during the meal to provide for our guests. The surrounding grounds and facilities provided gorgeous photo opportunities. Park Alumni Center is the perfect place for a wedding ceremony and reception.

  The Park Alumni Center is a gorgeous venue! It is classic and elegant from the dramatic staircase and foyer and the stunning ballroom and chandeliers. All of this beauty is overlooking Lake Raleigh. Hannah was great to work with. From the initial consultation to menu tasting and wedding day, she was there every step of the way. She was extremely professional, responsive, personable, knowledgeable and accommodating. She was truly a pleasure and she was able to answer every question and take care of minor details. Darrell was over the catering and everything was perfect and went off without a hitch the night of. In fact, I forgot to inform Hannah that one of our guests was vegetarian and they were able to whip up something quickly without missing a beat. Rave reviews from guests on both food and service. Our wedding was truly a dream and we cannot thank the Park Alumni team enough!

  Park Alumni Center was the perfect venue for my daughters wedding! The building itself is gorgeous with a wonderful layout for indoor and outdoor use with an outdoor patio overlooking a lake. Plenty of parking, grand ballroom and The Marriott next door is perfect for a wedding and your guest. The food and staff were outstanding. With so many venues to choose from, Adelaide Stallings, the event coordinator is what sold me! I knew when I met her we would have a wonderful day and I was right!   The State Club has truly fantastic service. Adelaide made sure everything was taken care of, with no stress on the bride or families. Everything turned out beautifully and the food was incredible. Outside vendors (band, florist, etc) also communicated how easy it was to work with the the staff and how pleasant their experience was in the venue. It has quickly become a wonderful site in Raleigh with classic interiors and gorgeous grounds. I cannot recommend the State Club enough, whether or not you have ties to the school. We had a very positive experience!

  I hosted a rehearsal dinner for close to 100 people at the Park Alumni Center in June of 2017. I cannot recommend the PAC highly enough! Adelaide Stallings and her event team exceeded ALL of my expectations! The folks at the PAC are top notch professionals who have been in the business for a long time, & their breadth of knowledge & ability to execute is superior to any event coordinator I have ever worked with. They also have contacts with the very best florists, rental companies, lighting experts, musicians, etc (anything you could possibly need!), which makes planning an event there hassle-free. Best of all was Adelaide's cheerfulness, prompt responses to my every question, expert capabilities, & desire to help me create the unique rehearsal dinner of my dreams, all in the most stress-free, enjoyable manner imaginable!
  Having lived in Raleigh most of my life, I have hosted events at many different venues. None compare in quality of the event, venue, or overall experience to the Park Alumni Center & the superbly talented Adelaide Stallings. Adelaide even sent photos of the event to me after it was over!
  The PAC is indisputably one of the most beautiful venues in the entire Triangle area (cocktails on a lovely terrace overlooking a lake & dinner in a vaulted ceiling ballroom with chandeliers, 2 large fireplaces, a grand piano, marble floors & sweeping staircases in the grand entry foyer). The covered portico for drop-off right at the door and ample, easy parking that is directly attached to the venue also make this location hassle-free for guests, as opposed to many venues in Raleigh that require guests to park in distant public parking garages or circle the block looking for street meters. Several of our guests mentioned how "guest-friendly" the venue was, & I lost track of how many commented on how breathtakingly beautiful it was!
  Highest marks & greatest praise to Adelaide and the PAC for a perfect, memorable evening!

  O'Connor Wedding

  We recently had my daughter's wedding at the Park Alumni Center. I can not say enough positive things about the staff. We worked with Hannah Humphrey, who was professional, friendly and very excited about Kaitlin and Chris's wedding day! The staff, the catering, the venue were all spectacular! It truly is a beautiful venue and you will not be disappointed!

  Adelaide and her team were great to work with. They were professional, thorough and flexible. The bride and groom live on the west coast and Adelaide was empathic with the situation. The end result was wonderful an experience.

  Great venue to work with from start to finish. They are very accommodating and helped to make my vision a reality! Thank you to the team at NC State Park Alumni Center for all of the hard work over the past couple of months, our day was perfect.

  Adelaide was wonderful to work with! She went above and beyond for us. The venue was beautiful and the food was outstanding. There were a few glitches (salads not plated, one instead of two flavors of ice cream, cake cutting utensils not ready, groomsmen not getting water in their room...), but Adelaide was very accommodating before, during, and after--I can't help feeling that if she was also running things the night of the wedding, those glitches wouldn't have happened, but someone else does that piece. Overall, however, the Park Alumni Center was the perfect choice for us. P.S. look into renting Mr. and Mrs. Wuf for your event if you're big State fans!
