  No review that I write will convey just how awesome Park Plaza was for our wedding, but I’ll try. 1) Jodi, the catering manager, was a gem to work with. She made all of the planning so easy, and was there on the actual day to oversee everything. I had initially planned on setting a lot of things up the night before, but at the last minute, something happened and we couldn’t get into the ballroom that night. The wedding party was obviously going to be busy the next day, so I was freaking out about how it would all get done. Jodi said no problem and took care of everything. I was a little nervous leaving everything with her, but she did an amazing job.…and they didn’t charge us any extra setup fees either, which I was kind of worried they might! 2) The staff. Wow. The servers were so professional and efficient. They kept everything running smoothly. The manager (I wish I knew his name) came up to my husband and me several times during the night to check in, making sure everything was okay, kept congratulating us, etc. It was so nice and appreciated. We felt like they genuinely wanted to take good care of us. Another nice touch was that they saved a tray of the appetizers from cocktail hour for the head table, since we had been off-site taking pictures. I was so grateful and happy to get to try everything! 3) The food was absolutely out of this world. Chef Andrew is fantastic. You never know how hotel food is going to be, but I am not exaggerating when I say that every guest told us how delicious the food was. In particular, the people that had the filet mignon said it was the best they have ever had anywhere. The late night snacks were also a big hit. I remember saying goodbye to some people during the night, only to find them still there two hours later, because they found the late night snacks and coffee station and ended up staying longer! Park Plaza could not have been any better and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a venue.

  The park plaza made my fairytale wedding come true! It is a gorgeous venue that has a lot to offer! The most helpful was the wedding coordinator! Without her our wedding would not have been the same, she was professional and knew how to get exactly what I wanted!

  I don't even know where to start with my compliments for Lindsay and Park Plaza. Planning and working with Lindsay was super easy during the whole process, she is very quick to respond to emails and is always on top of things. Everything for our reception went 100% as planned and the room looked absolutely gorgeous. We had the fairytale package with purple uplighting and then Lindsay worked with another vendor (Mani Mela) to get us a dozen crystal chandeliers that made the room look just perfect. We had so many compliments on our reception decor. The food and service was also wonderful. People raved about all the food we selected- appetizers of spinach feta triangles, chicken satays, and the cheese/cracker platter, the sliced sirloin of beef, chicken marsala, butternut squash ravioli, and of course the late night bites of pizza and the ball park package were a total hit. Lindsay made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it to be and we have no complaints. She is very on top of new trends and creative ideas, and made our wedding reception perfect.

  Lindsay was extremely helpful and met our needs as they changed. She catered packages to fit our wants and even offered a package due to a mishap with our cake that wasn't their fault! Our families had help when they needed with their rooms and rates. Lindsay is super resourceful, organized, and made our wedding easy to manage, beautiful, and stress free.

  I had my wedding reception here 9/21/12 and couldn't be happier! Lindsay was very attentive, the process was painless and everything looked just the way I imagined. The food was delicious and we throughly enjoyed all the little extras that came with our fairytale wedding package. I highly recommend this venue.

  I am SO happy that we chose Lindsay with Park Plaza in Bloomington, MN for our wedding reception venue. Planning our wedding with Lindsey was fun. She is professional, friendly, consistent, knowledgable, genuine and creative. Our wedding was so special and beautiful. If I was back in time, I would chose Lindsay with Park Plaza for our venue all over again! 5 stars!

  I enjoyed having my wedding at park plaza hotel! I could not have picked a better place to have it! Lindsay Robin was such a great worker! She was very respectful and helpful! I will be telling others about the wonderful experience I had and referrals will surely be given!

  I cannot say enough positive comments about this hotel. I held my wedding reception here and this venue exceeded my expectations! The dinner was absolutely amazing, the room was decorated perfectly and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was spectacular! Thank you Park Plaza!

  We had our wedding reception at the Park Plaza and it was everything we wanted!!! Great food, beautiful decor and no one had to drive! Perfect for out of town guests and the younger crowd too. I can't stress how great Lindsay Robin was!!! She truly went above and beyond to make our day that much more amazing. I would definitely recommend anyone getting married to check out the Park Plaza. THANK YOU for all of your hard work and attention to detail, you really made us feel special, I couldn't have asked for anything more :)

  We think all the staff there is wonderful and we appreciated it so much when we asked what we wanted and you did what we wanted. Also, you did suggest more than we expected which was so nice. The food was "WOW". The guests said very nice comments about the food. We appreciated how you set up in the ballroom and prepared for the dance. Thank you so much for all the efforts!
