A wedding is not just about the day itself, but the journey that leads an engaged couple towards the day accompanied by people who take part along this journey. Hiring Indigo Event Design is the best decision we made for our wedding inspired by Chinese tradition infused with European elegance. When Rebecca, the founder of Indigo Event Design, and I spoke earlier this year about our wedding theme, the "four-gentlemen of the flower-kind" in Chinese art, I expressed how proud I have always been about the beauty originated from ancient China. The architecture, the poetry, the art; everything was symbolic that penetrated the past centuries. I always dreamed of incorporating the essence of Chinese culture into our wedding. My husband and I were so fortunate to have someone as gifted as Rebecca leading our wedding design. She brought the ancient Chinese beauty back to life with a European twist using her multi-cultural artistic visions. We also have a special shout-out to her team member, Erin, who was the queen of coordination and logistics. The planning and coordination Erin was able to manage made our wedding day just impeccable. We were honoured to have taken this meaningful journey with Indigo Event Design, and would highly recommend this amazing team to all future engaged couples. -

Thank you for our dream wedding!
Rebecca and Erin's expertise in designing and planning turned what I envisioned for my wedding into reality. I came across Rebecca’s work with Indigo Event Design shortly after our engagement in 2019 and was instantly drawn to her beautiful designs. Due to Covid, we didn’t begin our wedding planning until 2021. After following Indigo Event Design’s work over the year I knew that I wanted to work with Rebecca and her team. Rebecca was knowledgeable and professional from the very first meeting. She listened to what we wanted and quickly got to work to find us our perfect venue with a beautiful design proposal that is exactly what we wanted. Erin helped us with the logistics, gathering, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, design recommendations, and all coordination leading up to our day and on the day of. We cannot thank Erin enough for her support and advice. She is professional, experienced, insightful, attentive, and accommodating. She listened to our concerns and helped resolve them timely. Planning a wedding for 180+ guests is not easy but she executed flawlessly. We were never overwhelmed at any point of this whole process. Everyone asked me why I was so calm leading up to our wedding and it was all because of Erin’s help! As with any weddings, we ran into several small issues the day of, mostly due to hot weather and had to make small last minute changes. As someone who would get stressed when things do not go as planned, I felt completely at ease thanks to Erin’s quick response and solution. Thank you Indigo Event Design for taking care of us and allowing us to fully enjoy our perfect day! -

Indigo = wedding angels!!
We booked Indigo for full service wedding planning and could not recommend them more!! Erin was our primary wedding planner and I only have amazing things to say about her. She provided incredible insight, kept us on budget (although I took some liberties with it!), and made our wedding so incredibly beautiful and well organized. She was always available for questions over text and email, and her checkin meetings with us always made us feel so at ease and confident about our day. On the day of, even though it was 100 degrees outside and a super long day, the entire team were so focused on making our day just perfect. Indigo's team took care of so many things in the background to make the wedding day run so smoothly. Whenever we needed them, they were magically at our side to help! I absolutely loved working with them, and would trust this team with anything. Thanks so much!! -

The absolute best!
Wow! Where do I even begin with how outstanding the women are at Indigo Event Design?! I found Rebecca after seeing her events and instantly feeling a connection to her beautiful design work. Our planner was Megan (shown in the photo here), and she made our wedding planning experience incredible. They use a software system that keeps track of everything for you (guests, layout, contacts, RSVPs, the worlds longest planning checklist, & much more). Megan and Rebecca’s design and vision for our wedding was spot on with what we wanted for our big day. They gave us the best advice, recommended the BEST vendors, and were always there when we needed them. They are much more than planners and designers to us. They advocated for us every step of the way and developed a relationship with us and our families. They saved us from a few day-of scares (lol) and I found out later that Rebecca said a prayer with my mom on the day of our wedding for no rain so that we could have our ceremony outside as planned… & it was beautiful. ♥️ From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU Megan and Rebecca! -

We had the opportunity to work with Rebecca's team for our wedding and it ended up being a wedding that exceeded my expectations! Rebecca was encouraging and inquisitive, and offered suggestions based on our vision of what we wanted. She was very communicative and worked within constraints that we had.
We were also thrilled with Erin, our day-of coordinator. Erin was often our advocate and was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the entire process! She really eased the burden of stress.
The day of the wedding was magical and it is a credit to what Indigo Event Design accomplished. We were blown away at how beautifully it came together, from the calligraphy to the floral. We placed a lot of trust in Rebecca's team and they over-delivered!Indigo Event Design's reply:

Indigo events made our special day even more special. Rebecca took extra care of the décor we wanted for our reception and it turned out exceptional! All of our guests were in awe. She even helped us get connected to other vendors in our budget. Me and my husband would highly recommend Indigo design. -

Megan Sent on 08/14/2018Rebecca was great to work with! We booked her on fairly short notice (roughly 1.5-2 months out) and felt confident in her abilities the entire time! She did a great job of laying out our ideas and making them a reality. She was flexible with meeting times and easily accessible by phone/email. Without her help, our decor would have been a huge stressor for our wedding day and we are so happy we hired Rebecca to put together our special day for us! -

She was very responsive via email and tried to keep my budget in mind as well. Labor and break down is included in the price. If you can work with Rebecca, you totally should!

Organization was amazing and help available at all times. They were so flexible and accommodated everyone’s needs. Team work with dj, videographer, photographer, photo booth, catering and venue were superb. If you want to have a pleasant, stress free and lovely event, please hire Rebecca. We love her!
