Paul did an incredible job as our photographer. He listened well to all our requests, captured all our special moments throughout the day and put everyone at ease. We couldn't be happier with how all the photos turned out and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

It was such a pleasure having Paul and his colleague photograph our wedding day! I have a large family and they were so kind making sure we got all the pictures we wanted. We even had time constraints because we wanted sunset photos and we still had first dances and speeches to go through. They were so polite and kept us on track as well as made the photo shoots fun! The pictures came out better than I could have imagined and I will forever be grateful.

It was such a pleasure having Paul and his colleague photograph our wedding day! I have a large family and they were so kind making sure we got all the pictures we wanted. As my wife and I looked through numerous vendors for all aspect of our wedding via: wedding wire, google and in-person we put the most time into picking the right photographer. It was down to 3 photographers and we ended ups choosing Paul Boldger, and we are glad we did.

Paul was friendly, genuine and extremely easy to work in all aspect of the wedding, leading up to and after as well. It was truly a blessing to have someone so kind, calm and organized taking care of capturing our once in a lifetime moments. He paid very close attention to getting all the pictures we wanted and with his experience suggesting many more that we didn't think of as well.

Once we received the photographs, and have had time to look over them many times, we are still amazed with the quality, professionalism and diversity of the pictures he took. He also did some night photographs, where he captures all the stars in the background (AMAZING PICTURES) and we got a shooting star in one of them! Paul truly took amazing pictures at our wedding and we could not be happier with our choice. I would recommend Paul to anyone who is looking for a great photographer for their wedding!

Paul is an amazing photographer and I love that his ideas were romantic, fun and original, he has a great sense of location; very shabby chic and country style, exactly how I pictured my wedding! Thank you Paul, for giving me beautiful engagement and wedding photos! :)

Paul is Amazing!
He is super easy and fun to work with and a great listener. We got every shot we wanted. The pictures captured my wedding beautifully!!! These aren't your typical wedding portraits. They are definitely magazine worthy.

I would HIGHLY recommend Paul to anyone that is looking for a photographer. If you just look through his website, or his tumbler account you can see the diversity of photograph styles he can shoot as well as his ability to make everyone look great.

Why I LOVED my photographs and am so happy I went with Paul
1. He captures the energy and the essence of the wedding, I'm not sure how to fully explain it but he's able to get a feel for the couple and the wedding and really bring out those qualities.
2. He can take beautiful portraits as well as the movement of the wedding.
3. He shows up when he says he will, and delivers the product when he says he will (and usually earlier)
4. He can shoot a variety of styles: b&w, various slates of color, he plays with natural light beautifully and my favorite are the nature pictures--like panoramic views of the stars with couples under it.
5. He takes really flattering photos--these photographs are what Ill have for the rest of my life, so Im really happy they came out so well.
6. He's able to handle large groups of people (he managed to wrangle up the whole wedding for a group picture, herded my drunk groomsmen to standing for portraits, captured fun photos...he's just able to "roll with it" suggesting photo poses as you go.
7. Did I mention everyone loved the photographs. When random acquaintances are coming up and telling you how beautiful your photographs were...you know they were good. And the whole family liked them! The bride a groom, mother of the bride (usually the most difficult person to please), mother of the groom.
8. He managed to recapture most of the pictures I wanted when I showed them to him.
9. Great value for time and money. Product is very high quality
10. He's a great person, who got along with everyone. He also gives back to the community...a odd thing to add it...but I just really like giving my money to someone who is kind and gives back to others!

I am so glad we chose Paul Bolger as the photographer for our wedding. Not only were his prices super reasonable in comparison with other central coast photographers, but he had a true sincerity and professionalism from the first time we met him through the exciting day we got to pick up our amazing photos.

Through meeting us just 2 times, Paul was able to get a good idea of our personality and style and was able to capture that in his photos. Paul was flexible and up to taking our engagment photos basically anywhere we requested! He has an ease about him that makes you automatically feel comfortable in front of the camera- which is good for someone like me who usually busts up laughing when a camera is pointed my direction.

He is polite and not pushy, but was somehow able to round up the families and bridal party for some great group shots. Throughout the wedding, I didn't even notice Paul or his assistant at all- I had several friends and family members tell me the same thing. He definitely was right there, however, as our pictures of all the precious moments proved. His pictures are classic, yet ecclectic. We willingly left the party for a few minutes after the sun had set to take a couple pictures under the stars. I can't wait to have these shots printed out and hung on our walls.

Paul shot our wedding at Santa Margarita Ranch and the pictures are amazingly good. He made everyone feel comfortable, had creative ideas for all sorts of shots, and his post-editing was unbelievable. I can't even imagine our celebration now without picturing the photos Paul took. Paul was absolutely amazing!! He worked with us on the price and then even stayed later than planned to make sure he got our big exit under the sparkelers! He got SUCH amazing pictures and is truly truly talented at what he does!! My husband and i are now expecting our first baby and planning on using him for ALL of our future photo shoots!!

There's no question about the quality of the work that Paul Bolger provides. The proof, as they say, is in the pudding. The real strong point of Paul as a wedding photographer, in my mind, is his ability to work with the wedding party and guests in a calm but assertive way. A wedding is a very stressful and hectic day for the people involved. It's a good day, but... You know. An especially stressful part of the event is the picture taking part. I've been a part of weddings where the photographer is either a control freak and won't let the bride and groom have any input, or so directionless that the wedding party has to make all the decisions. Paul possesses the rare ability to have very creative ideas for picture locations and settings, but will take suggestions from the wedding party as well. He does all this with a calm, pleasent demeanor while maintaining a highly professional work ethic. I'm a big fan.
