  Most valuable vendor at our wedding

  
  
  Hiring Katelyn was the best investment we could’ve made for our wedding. We started working with her as a full-time planner in July of 2021 for our wedding in October of 2022. By the end, I told all of my friends “if we could only have 3 people at our wedding, it would be me, my husband, and Katelyn.”
  
  
  Her expertise in the planning process was invaluable, especially in helping us discern what was normal or abnormal in the wedding process. So many vendors are so pricey, and Katelyn came up with clever ideas to cut costs where we could. She suggested ceremony flowers that could be easily moved to our sweetheart table for decoration. She thought to move all of the flowers from our rehearsal dinner into my bridal suite so we had them while getting ready and on our wedding night. She thought to ensure the caterers gave us to-go boxes of extra food so we could eat it in the hotel after. She’s creative and I believe saved us much more money than she charges us in the long run.
  
  Additionally, Katelyn is incredibly dedicated and creative. Our band was great performing, but their communication was terrible. Katelyn sent over 200 emails just to secure a pianist at our ceremony. If I had been in her shoes, I would have given up after 3. I’m a massive Taylor Swift fan, and when our band revealed less than a week before our wedding that they would not play any songs, Katelyn had the brilliant idea of doing a “Taylor Swift dance party” during their 20 minute break, where the band set up a Spotify playlist of all of my favorite songs.
  
  Katelyn also put together and transported all of our signage and most of our decor. What would have cost $400 on Etsy, Katelyn made for the cost of the materials. She already had many decor items from other weddings that she let us reuse as well.
  
  Beyond her skill as a wedding planner, Katelyn is incredible at conflict resolution and crisis management. I would hop on a zoom call completely distressed about family drama, or a vendor increasing prices, or my personal life, and by the end of the call Katelyn had a succinct plan to fix everything, or helped us view the disappointments from a new perspective. Truly more helpful than any therapist I’ve been to.
  
  I can’t praise Katelyn enough. I could write for another hour about all of the tiny disasters that were averted because of Peonies and Pearls, but I think Wedding Wire does have a word limit.

She was kind, organized, and knowledgeable about wedding planning and everything that comes with it. Our wedding day was flawless!   She's everything you need, and more!

  Katelyn was everything we could have hoped for in a month of coordinator, and more! She went above and beyond our expectations. She was VERY organized, and on top of everything, and made us feel almost completely stress free. She was there to recommend vendors when we were struggling to find people. She handled ALL communication with all of our vendors during the month leading up to our wedding, and on the day of, and she handled all day of issues without alerting me or the groom. I highly recommend working with her!!

  The Perfect Wedding Planner

  Katelyn was absolutely AMAZING as our wedding planner!! She made sure everything went so smoothly for the wedding day, and she was so on top of everything (even things I didn't even initially think about). You will not regret having her help you plan and coordinate your big day!!

  I've worked with Katelyn as a vendor for several weddings, and I can't recommend her enough. She's been in the world of weddings since well before starting her business, so she has wisdom beyond her years. Her priority is always to do what's best for the couple she's serving, but working with her as a vendor, I can tell you she doesn't cut corners to make that happen. She is incredibly thorough and organized, keeping everyone on the same page. She's also one of the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful people I know.

  Could not recommend enough!

  I have attended several weddings that Katelyn has had a hand in, either as a day of coordinator or a planner who worked with the bride for months before her big day, and I have always been incredibly impressed with Katelyn’s professionalism and dedication. I have never seen the same level of attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond for her clients, especially in the realm of decor: I was amazed to see how gorgeous her hand-crafted decorations turned out. She’s always going one step further than what is asked or expected. For instance, she’s taken it upon herself to learn new skills such as floral arranging in order to be able to help her brides beyond the normal duties I associate with strictly wedding planning and coordinating. She is one of the most organized people I have ever met and is constantly thinking ahead and streamlining all the processes with detailed lists and schedules that make both wedding planning and the day-of roll out as seamless and stress-free for the happy couple as possible. If/when I get married, there is no one I would trust more to help me celebrate than Peonies and Pearls.

  Katelyn is literally the best

  My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Katelyn. She was a great help and a calming presence when the weekend came. Katelyn is professional, kind, and willing to bend over backwards to make your wedding run like you want it.

  Best Wedding Planner
