  A dream come true

  Working with Susan was as dreamy as her flower arrangements. Truly, what a special person. We gave Susan some parameters but really let her creative light shine and she delivered the most beautiful touches to our wedding day and respected our budget at every step. From the Chuppah to the center pieces to the custom mirrors and menus, Susan brought a magic to our special day that I could never thank her enough for. Everything was breathtaking and Susan was a joy to work with.

  Susan was an absolute pleasure to work with leading up to & during our wedding last weekend at the Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, CA! She helped us pick the best florals and color scheme for our wedding and 10000% nailed our vision! We were so happy to see our dream chuppah, aisle bouquets, and table arrangements come to life on our day. She also was wonderful at repurposing the ceremony florals for the cocktail hour & reception area (we realized some florists were strangely opposed to repurposing). Lastly, we were so grateful Susan was able to also create a stunning seating chart wall with florals at the bottom. We recommend her HIGHLY to any and all brides wanting an explosion of beautiful flowers at their wedding!!

  The best florals i've ever seen

  I don't even know where to begin with how absolutely amazing Susan is! First of all, she is so sweet and truly went above and beyond to create my dream wedding. From our first meeting, I couldn't have imagined working with anyone else. She helped me explain the vision I had in my head and really design my wedding. She was able to make suggestions and draw out the perfect day. My florals were UNREAL! I have never seen so many gorgeous flowers in my life and it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. I was absolutely blown away when I saw the aisle, the center pieces, my sweetheart table, my cake, my bouquet, my hedge wall.. I could go on and on. It was truly magical. She created all my signs (the cutest bar sign with our signature drinks), my escort cards, and the BEST table numbers! Every single person at my wedding commented on how stunning it was. The florals completely blew me away and she went above and beyond to make our day so incredibly perfect. Susan, I could go on and on but thank you so much for everything. I am so lucky that I got to work with you and you really were a dream and created something better than I could have ever imagined!! Susan is the best, if you are considering working with her - do it! Best decision ever!!!

  If I can, I would give Peony & Plum six stars! Susan at Peony & Plum was amazing to work with and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Peony & Plum was one of the preferred vendors at my wedding venue. I reached out directly to Peony & Plum through their website and immediately got a response from Susan. Susan was always prompt and professional in answering any questions that I have. As we were working through my floral visions for the wedding, Susan would pull together detailed and thorough floral proposals (including sketches and photos of how the wedding flowers will look based on what I've shared) for me to review. After seeing the proposals, I felt that I was in good hands as she clearly laid out my floral vision for the day based on my feedback! Susan also worked with me to reuse and re-purpose the flowers for rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception so I could stay within budget. I also got to see a sample at her studio so I can understand how the flowers would transform from proposal to real life for the wedding! I highly recommend Peony & Plum. Susan was accommodating, professional, and flexible with our needs. Most importantly, Susan have a great eye and an amazing sense of style with flowers!!

  Ahhh-mazing

  Simply amazing! Susan is so incredibly talented. I somewhat envisioned a design for my wedding day and Susan was able to take my terrible description and create a gorgeous space.   Peony and Plum's floral arrangements seriously made our wedding a hit. Susan worked with us closely to get just the colors, flowers, and arrangements we wanted. The florals for the ceremony, the table centerpieces, the bouquets--everything was spectacularly stylish and presented a unified theme. Susan was also cost-effective, efficient, and timely. I could not ask for a better professional, and especially a better floral designer!

  I loved our flowers! Susan worked with my vision and tweaked her designs based on my critiques on her proposal and then again with the trial run (which were both minimal because they were great). Someone was onsite at the Church before and then moved all the flowers to be reused at the reception. I loved the look!

  I wish there was an option to give six stars and a trophy in this review because Susan at Peony and Plum was simply outstanding. Planning a wedding can be difficult, especially when you don't have an endless budget as well as having a tight timeline. Susan gave me simply breathtaking flowers for a great price. But then, once I decided to drop the archive rentals to save costs, she was able to give me all the beautiful little extras for a tiny price too!!! She decorated my cake with a beautiful floral design, and decorated the venue beyond what I could have dreamed. She went over and beyond, she is more than a florist, she is a wedding stylist and rental provider and a brides best friend!!! Susan went over and beyond in so many ways, anyone who doesn't hire her is just missing out.

  Peony & Plum did my ceremony and reception flowers for my wedding at Calamigos Ranch, in Malibu. Everything was stunning!   Beautiful. Elegant. Sophisticated. Romantic. Classy. These are just a few words to describe my dream wedding which was brought to life by Susan this past April. She was just awesome to work with! We found out about her from our wedding coordinator Angela Mitchell and found out through Pinterest that she has previously done weddings at our venue Carondelet House which helped us tremendously because she understood the rules and logistics of our unique venue. She is a definite professional who is passionate about her work! She is organized, flexible, punctual, creative, and meticulous. She totally gave us ideas that worked within our budget. She was very flexible when I wanted to modify the design proposal several times and she even agreed to a very last minute gold-framed signage to be added to the wedding. On the day of the wedding I was just blown away! The bouquets, centerpieces, the variations of candle displays, the chiffon draping through the wooden beams, and the added floral touches on our party favors table was just absolutely gorgeous!!! Trust me you will not regret your decision after booking with Susan. Take it from this one very happy bride!

  Susan of Peony & Plum is amazing. I merely drew my vision with a few inspiration photos for my wedding flowers and she nailed it in her first try. I was very happy with the outcome!

  Susan did an outstanding job at our wedding in Mobile, Alabama!!! She was amazing to work with! I have never seen anyone personally work so hard and so tirelessly. I can't thank her enough!!!!! I was more than blown away and ecstatic with how all the flowers turned out!!! They were soo gorgeous and my guests are still raving about them!! She is extremely creative and definitely passionate about what she does. She also went way above and beyond what was necessary for her to do as a florist on my wedding day. My wedding planner ended up being a dud so I know that it is because of her that a lot of things turned out as well as they did. For our wedding, she also did all the paper products. She hand painted the beautiful flowers on all our products. It was all so beautiful and complimented the flowers perfectly!!!! I would recommend her with out any hesitation anytime for flowers and paper products!

  We would definitely recommend Susan and her team at Peony & Plum. We weren’t really sure what we wanted. All we told Susan were our wedding colors (red, orange, gold) and that we didn’t want “ordinary” flower styles. Susan quickly followed up with suggested flowers, centerpiece arrangements and styles, complete with pictures. As we worked with her, there were a few times when we added new requests to our order. We even added an order for Indian floral necklaces. Susan was great with accommodating all of our requested changes without charging us an arm and a leg! Everything was full and beautiful- from the centerpieces, to the necklaces, to the arch, and the sprinkled petals on the tables- all the flowers were lush and beautiful, and the arrangements were all visually very full and rich. Susan and her team exceeded every expectation. Thanks!

All we told Susan were our wedding colors (red, orange, gold) and that we didn’t want “ordinary” flower styles. Susan quickly followed up with suggested flowers, centerpiece arrangements and styles, complete with pictures. As we worked with her, there were a few times when we added new requests to our order. We even added an order for Indian floral necklaces. Susan was great with accommodating all of our requested changes without charging us an arm and a leg! Everything was full and beautiful- from the centerpieces, to the necklaces, to the arch, and the sprinkled petals on the tables- all the flowers were lush and beautiful, and the arrangements were all visually very full and rich. Susan and her team exceeded every expectation. Thanks!

  We hired Peony & Plum as the florist for our wedding, and it was an excellent choice. Susan really listened to how my husband and I envisioned our day. We gave her a lot of conflicting and overlapping ideas and I think a lesser florist would have been overwhelmed, but she put together a great proposal and when we walked in for our trial, we were blown away by how beautiful the arrangements were. She was super flexible when we were making changes right up until the wedding, and on our wedding day, the flowers were gorgeous! They were so creative and really brought everything together, and we got so many (deserved) compliments! Susan herself was great to work with - she is warm and friendly and genuinely enjoys what she does. We would definitely hire her again!
