  Highly Recommend, Wedding Partners with Your Best Interest at Heart

  I can not recommend Perfect Honeymoons enough. My husband and I worked with Jim to plan our honeymoon to Hawaii. Planning a honeymoon while also planning your wedding is stressful enough, but the pandemic added another layer. Jim never missed a beat.
  
  He made himself available to us completely — with constant communication, troubleshooting, and clarity. Not to mention that he was learning about the ever changing rules & guidelines himself! He was kind, patient, and supportive, answering our endless questions while also being a wonderful source of ideas and agenda items to keep us excited about our trip.

  Best Honeymoon

  Working with Gretchen at Perfect Honeymoons was truly a pleasure. She thought of every detail that made our honeymoon go very smoothly.   An amazing honeymoon thanks to Steve!

  Steve helped us plan our dream honeymoon to Croatia and Italy. He was patient and made adjustments to the itinerary until we were 100% satisfied. We even reached out to ask questions while there and he was so responsive! 100% recommend!

  Experiences to Treasure!

  For 16+ years my husband and I have had the pleasure of planning our lifetime dream vacations with Gretchen McKnight which have included our latest to French Polynesia. We have depended on Gretchen’s knowledge, experience, dedication, efficiency, and talent to help us create unforgettable memories of incredible destinations. We hold her in such high esteem, that our adult children also seek her expertise. We are already looking forward to booking an overseas trip through her for next Fall and are so excited to pull it all together into another fabulous adventure!

  Viva La Mexico

  I've known Gretchen for several decades. When the time came to book our first-ever cruse, she was the one and only person we reached out to. We had some very specific requirements. We scheduled a call to discuss, she genuinely listened and had the answers to each of our questions and knew exactly how to accommodate our specifications. She walked us through the various options while aboard the ship as well as the various activities and excursions while abroad. She followed up several days before our departure just to make sure everything was in place (as it was). Once we returned, she checked in with us to follow up. We could not be happier. In fact, while exiting the ship, we both said, "we're totally doing this again."

  My wife and I used Steve to plan our Fijian honeymoon, including booking our airfare, accommodations, transports in Fiji and a handful of excursion activities. Steve was recommended to us by friends that had used him to book their honeymoon and they provided very positive feedback. Steve was a great resource throughout the entire process. Upon deciding that Fiji would be our destination, we couldn't have found a better partner than Steve - he has tremendous experience through his own trips to the country as well as connections with resort managers that provide valuable insight & unique experiences.
  
  Throughout the planning process, we described to Steve what we were hoping to experience on our trip, and he was able to weigh in with example activities to help build out our itinerary. My wife and I are not great trip planners, so relying on Steve's expertise was extremely helpful and took the burden off of us during a busy time planning our wedding. Steve was available for questions and very flexible in making changes if we wanted to do something different than suggested. Prior to the trip, Steve checked in with us to make sure we felt comfortable with our itinerary and to answer any last minute questions. He also was available during our trip for any needs.
  
  Steve's recommendations for locations/resorts couldn't have been better. We first stayed at the Nanuku resort before moving to Liku Liku to spend the remainder of our trip. Each experience was unique and had so much to offer. Steve's recommendations of room types (which included not upselling us for more expensive rooms) were spot on for our honeymoon. Steve again checked in after our trip to make sure everything went smoothly and that we enjoyed our experience.

  We worked with Gretchen for our honeymoon in 2014, then again in 2019 when we wanted to plan a trip to Europe. Now that our 10-year anniversary is approaching, we are working with her again to plan an anniversary cruise! Our honeymoon in St. Lucia was incredible - we went to Sandals and she made sure everything felt special for us while we were there! We only came across one hiccup the entire time - while we were in France, the hotel had a minor mix-up with our registration. Thankfully, we were able to keep in touch with Gretchen while we were there, so when we told her about the issue, she immediately took the stress off of us by contacting the hotel and sorting things out for us (while ensuring we were out exploring/enjoying the city instead)! We recently started planning our 10-year anniversary trip, so OF COURSE we reached out to Gretchen again! As always, she helped us think about things we might not have considered otherwise, so we could make the best decision possible. After pinpointing what we were looking for, she was able to find an Alaskan cruise that we feel will be perfect for us! I have no doubt in my mind that she will help us make it incredibly special and memorable. I can't wait!!

  Gretchen is so amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. We have used her to plan so many of our vacations. Starting with our 25th anniversary trip to Jamaica, to Hawaii for our 30th with 9 of of us, then to Mexico this summer to celebrate our 40th with an additional 13 of our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. A few other great destinations sprinkled in between. She has sent us to some awesome resorts and recommends excursions and places to explore.   First time to Italy

  This is the first time I have worked with Gretchen and perfect honeymoons. Gretchen’s professionalism and knowledge exceeded my expectations. It was the first time we have traveled to Italy.   Great itinerary, some slow communication

  We absolutely loved the itinerary Steve put together for us and the hotels he placed us in were fantastic. Pre booked transfers between travel and hotels were a nice treat. It seemed like they were very busy so response times were sometimes slow, but it all worked out beautifully. Would definitely recommend if you want a stress free honeymoon planning experience. They even have an app preloaded with every step of our travel itinerary which helped both of our peace of mind!

  Perfect Honeymoons sent us off on a dream honeymoon to Thailand. We had an awesome blend of luxury relaxation and exploration, and the resorts/hotels we stayed in were incredible. Steve was great to work with and was always excited to talk us through the trip. We even had a mix-up in our booked flight plans, and Steve fixed up our itinerary, no issue at all! It was awesome to fly into a new country and have all the transportation and excursions taken care of.

  Top Notch all the way

  The process was seamless, from start to finish, top notch all the way. We went to Bora Bora and a few other islands, didnt have to think about a thing, Would highly recommend. Had the best time!!!!

  We Loved Our Experience!

  We have used Gretchen to plan several of our trips, most recently a 3-week trip across Greece and Europe. She seamlessly organized stays in 10 different cities/hotels, transportation, private drivers between hotels and airports, tours/tour guides, reservations, the list goes on. Every detail was planned out perfectly. She also had great recommendations of how long to stay in different places, where to stay, what to do, and hooked it up in some faaabulous hotels. We felt like she had maximized our budget and booked incredible options, stays, and experiences for the budget she worked with. We felt the same with trips she booked for us in the past, as well. We have recommended Gretchen to many friends and family and plan to continue using her in the future when we're ready to plan our next trip!

  We have used Gretchen to plan several of our trips, most recently a 3-week trip across Greece and Europe. She seamlessly organized stays in 10 different cities/hotels, transportation, private drivers between hotels and airports, tours/tour guides, reservations, the list goes on.   My wife and I recently returned from the most wonderful, unforgettable, and moving trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe, and none of it would have been possible if it wasn’t for Perfect Honeymoons, Gretchen and a whole lotta of her patience.
  
  When we got married in 2019, I convinced my then-fiancée, now-wife that waiting a year to do the honeymoon was obviously the most logical thing to do. In hindsight, probably some of the worst decision making I have made in our marriage (so far).
  
  After emerging from the spring of 2020 with a newfound appreciation for hand sanitizer and disdain for video conferences, we decided we now definitely needed something to look forward to. We reached out to a few different travel agents, one of which was Gretchen and right off the bat, we knew Gretchen was the perfect fit for us. She took the time to understand what we like to do, were interested in, etc. rather than telling us what she would do - something common from others
  
  Gretchen truly made us feel safe, another thing that felt particularly unique given everything else going on. We felt safe that we could ask any questions no matter how silly, safe that she would set up a trip that was exactly what we wanted without going outside of our budget, and safe that our trip was going to be one we never forgot. In fact, I think the only time that Gretchen rocked the boat was when she talked about her prior trips to Africa which led us to abandon our plans to go to Italy and instead go there – something I am so glad we decided to do.
  
  In the lead up to the trip, Gretchen meticulously worked through our itinerary and nit-picky feedback to develop a fine-tuned trip that allowed us to do everything we knew we wanted to do, plus many things we hadn’t yet realized we would love, but that Gretchen already knew we would. We were then briefed thoroughly on logistical expectations (i.e., what to pack, what not to pack, what forms would be needed, etc.) but also on little snippets that she had picked up from all of her trips previously that we remembered when we were there – her recommendation to try biltong has now led to a full on addiction on my end.
  
  When we finally headed out on the trip, some two years after we had originally contacted Gretchen, we were able to be free from any questions related to planning, and instead able to focus purely on being present in the moment and taking in all that Africa had to offer us. We had a handy little booklet that Gretchen had put together that told us exactly where we needed to be and at what time, but still had so much flexibility built in so that we could still feel freedom to do whatever we wanted.
  
  To be clear, the fact that it took two years was not down to Gretchen, but down to us. We waited to ensure the timing was right on our end, and Gretchen never was upset or pushy about that. In fact, while we weren’t ready for that trip just yet, she actually planned a trip for us to go to Mexico for a week; a very different trip, but also very enjoyable.
  
  When it came to our honeymoon, we felt pressure to ensure that we were going to have this once in a lifetime experience, and that no matter how much online research we did, we were going to fall short. By reaching out to Perfect Honeymoons and Gretchen, the only reason we didn’t get a once in a lifetime experience is because the trip was so perfect that we know we will have to go and do it all again.

  Perfect Honeymoon!

  Gretchen helped us with our honeymoon, and she was amazing! She made sure to contact us often to check-in and answer any questions we had before we left. Our trip had everything we wanted and everything was taken care of, so we spent the whole time relaxing. We will definitely use Gretchen for future trips!

  Perfect honeymoon

  Gretchen helped us to have the perfect honeymoon in Italy. They helped us to put together our dream lists of activities. The hotel accommodations were outstanding and we were given several upgrades to our rooms. We definitely plan to use their services again on our next vacation!

  Our honeymoon was SO wonderful! Thank you soo much for your help on this!! The hotel was perfect and the whole week turned out dreamy. Daniel and I both LOVED the island and it was the perfect getaway we wanted and needed!

  Susan and Gretchen were such a big help with our honeymoon, I don't know if we would have gotten through everything without them. They picked great destinations for us to choose from and worked within our price range. Then when the day finally came, they were instrumental in getting us to our destination when the airline canceled our flight. They were always right on top of everything that we needed, so we're so grateful we found them. We'll definitely use them again for future travel.
