  Perfect Peony Events is a 5 Star Service!

  My experience with Carla and Perfect Peony Events was excellent. I was planning a NYE wedding in Charleston remotely, so there were a lot of challenges in figuring out how to get everything set up perfectly. Carla is incredibly professional, assertive and action-oriented, which is everything you need in a wedding planner. I used the partial planning service. I had already set up most of my vendors, but it was helpful to have her input through the year as small things came up. Once we got to about 6 weeks out we were chatting pretty regularly and she was always available for consult. I think she was managing several weddings during this time, but I always felt like a priority when I reached out with questions and she always helped with whatever I needed. All my vendors appreciated her clear communiction style. On the day of she set up our venue perfectly, and handled all the minute details. When we got back to our room that night, I was so pleased to see the collection of things we had left around the venue and completely forgotten about like my ceremony shoes, our cake, all of our gifts, etc! She doesn't forget a single detail.

  Carla and Perfect Peony were wonderful to work with during our daughter's recent wedding and reception. Carla was responsive, prepared and professional, and cool-headed. She helped us navigate the planning process - asking questions I hadn't considered - and she rolled with the inevitable punches on the day-of - helping us quickly pivot to adapt to unforeseen circumstances. She thinks on her toes and solves the problem. No drama. No time wasted. And she was also enjoyable to work with - warm and kind. I found myself thinking how impressive it is that she can move from event to event with the energy and focus and joy that she does. We said several times that we were glad Carla was in our corner!

  Perfect Peony made our wedding dreams a reality!

  I cannot say enough good things about Perfect Peony Events. We had partial planning and day-of coordination for my daughter’s wedding. It was one of the best decisions we made. Carla was a dream to work with and brought us great peace of mind when things got busy with wedding planning! And Kari took care of everything on the day-of such that we could focus on enjoying every moment. If you are debating whether to hire a wedding planner, I can say it is definitely worth it.   Carla was recommended to me by a friend, and I am beyond happy that I chose her to be my wedding planner. She helped me choose the best vendors, kept me on track and on schedule with planning and details, and brought my ideas to life. I was blown away by how everything came together on the wedding day. I had a few issues come up with the venue, and she was on top of it the entire time, helping me to navigate those changes. I'm sure she was working very hard on the wedding day to keep things rolling smoothly so that I could have the perfect day. I would recommend her to anyone looking for help planning or coordinating.   I couldn’t have been happier with my experience with the Perfect Peonies! Carla is so sweet, easy to talk to, and extremely professional. She made the whole planning process and day of SO much easier and relaxed than I could’ve imagined because I knew she had everything under control and was proactive. The day went off without a hitch thanks to her! From creating the time line, to decorating the space, everything was perfection. Carla and Amber are a wonderful team! HIGHLY recommend.

  Carla helped make an incredibly daunting wedding process feel incredibly seamless, exciting and fun. From our first introductory call, I immediately felt at ease when speaking to Carla. Her knowledge of the industry, ideas, and creativity are second to none. When sharing details about my plans for our wedding, Carla reacted in a way that made me feel more like she was a close friend rather than a stranger. She regularly checked in to see how I was doing, and her communication was effortless, consistent and constant. Any time I had any question, Carla stepped in to help me address it. As the wedding approached, Carla coordinated communication with each vendor, and the timelines she created were extraordinarily detailed and immediately relieved any stress I had. In the last few weeks from the final walkthrough to the wedding, Carla showed up with a smile, questions that addressed even the smallest details, and a confidence that helped me feel extremely comfortable and excited.   My new husband and I were amazed at how totally relaxed we were on our wedding day, and we largely have Carla to thank for that! Working with her the month prior to our wedding helped us get to know each other, and we saw her advocate for us through some miscommunications with other vendors. Because of this, we had complete trust in her on the wedding day and were able to relax and enjoy our beautiful day. Even if there were problems or things that went wrong, we still are oblivious. Carla, thank you so much for working with us on this special day! We truly could not have done it without your guidance and expertise!

  I was always told the number one thing to get for your wedding day was a day-of coordinator. I found Perfect Peony online and requested additional information. Carla reached out and after talking with her I felt like it was the best fit! About a month out, Carla and Sarah began working on all the details like the timeline and floor plan. Sarah, who was our day-of coordinator, came for the walk through and was so responsive. Sarah felt more like a friend the day of and was supportive and made the day run so smooth. I trusted her completely and if there was a problem I had no clue because it was handled so well. Perfect Peony is amazing and I am so thankful they were part of our day.

  Carla is amazing!!!

  Where do I begin? I cannot put into words just how grateful I am for Carla’s wedding planning services for my wedding. At the beginning of wedding planning my head started spinning not knowing where to start. My husband and I would try to research what we wanted after work but we were too exhausted to get anything done. Within 2 weeks we decided we needed professional help. I was fortunate that Perfect Peony Events was one of the first wedding planners that came up! Carla responded within a few hours of my inquiry and made time for a phone call 15 minutes of her response! I could automatically sense her organizational skills, wedding experience, and professionalism from our phone call. She was personable and was interested in getting to know us and what we wanted for our wedding. For the first time I didn’t feel stressed about wedding planning just from our first conversation. When my husband and I called her back to hire her she had already inquired with a venue for us! We were shocked how helpful she was willing to be before we even hired her! We went with Carla’s full package services and I’m so glad we did! We didn’t have to inquire vender services or follow up with them, worry about asking venders the right questions, or keep everything organized. Between us both working full time and having busy life’s Carla was a HUGE relief. She would present to us the best 3-5 options for our wedding vision which made decisions so easy! Carla has a wide variety of connections with venders in the industry. She connected us with the perfect fit of businesses to work with. You could tell her reputation proceeded her with how highly my venders spoke of her. When we interviewed venders she’d join the call to advocate our wishes. She didn’t speak over us. She would only add additional questions when we were done. She has a way of balancing taking initiative herself and letting us. We never felt pressured towards any decision and knew she’d weed out what wasn’t our vision. She was so efficient that we were able to book all our main venders within 4 months! We were able to relax and enjoy our engagement! Without the ongoing stress wedding planning we were able to stay excited about our dream wedding!! During the month of our wedding I kept worrying if we were accommodating our guests enough, or if it was ok to be nontraditional about certain things. Carla would reassure me simply with, “This is your wedding! If this is what you want we’re doing it!” Having her in our corner kept me from letting the opinions of others come in between my dream wedding. Our wedding day was a blur of so many things happening. What helped me be present and take it all in was not having to worry about venders arriving on time or directing people where to go. I was able to only worry about taking care of myself since Carla had everything under control. This helped me enjoy every moment, eat enough, and focus on what mattered most, marrying my best friend. Carla even set up our decorations and tables! I will never forget how I felt like a princess just before walking down the aisle when I saw the finished florals, China plates, lit candles and decorations. All our hard work came to life and it was even more perfect than what I imagined! With each step down the aisle I kept screaming on the inside “Is this even real?” “How am I living this fairy tale?” Well a lot of the reason was Carla! Our reception was incredible! We had the time of our life celebrating with our loved ones! So many of our guests said “This was the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to!” and “This was the most fun I’ve ever had!”. This made us so proud of all our hard working pulling off the best day of our life! Thank you so much Carla for giving us our fairy tale wedding!

  A Wonderful, Smooth, Wedding Planning Experience for a Perfect Day!

  When we decided to get married in Charleston, SC a wedding planner was a must-have, especially since we're both from out-of-state and don't have any friends or family based in the area. We met with a few different highly rated options, and decided to choose Perfect Peony and Carla to plan our wedding with us. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. Carla was there for us with a Zoom, text, or call, whenever we needed her - recommended incredible vendors, made suggestions to help us stay within our planned budget when necessary, and always had great advice, feedback, and suggestions. She and her team went the extra mile every day, and we never felt that we were in shaky waters. Everything always felt in control, and even the wedding weekend itself went off without a hitch. She was a team player in every sense of the word and though people say planning a wedding is stressful, Carla never let us feel any of that stress or concern. For every "issue" that arose along the way she had a solution ready to present, and kept us feeling confident and happy, able to enjoy our wedding, guests, and fun without worry. We would recommend her and her team to anyone, knowing that working with her is absolutely worth every penny spent. It could not have been a better decision.

  Month of Coordination

  Carla & Kari with Perfect Peony Events were amazing to work with. Our venue required a minimum of day of coordination so when I found Carla I decided to choose her month of option and I’m so glad I did. Even prior to the month of, she was so responsive and answered any questions I had throughout the planning process! She attended our venue walk throughs to make sure we were all on the same page. Her team the day of the wedding were amazing and set up everything perfectly! The day went so smoothly and I can’t recommended Perfect Peony Events enough for their amazing job! Our wedding day was completely stress free because of them! 💗
