    Best Wedding Planner Ever!

    was married on 11/3/23. Covesa Kelly Events provided wedding planning services and was referred to me by a friend . My engagement was less than 4 months and I could not have pulled it off without them. The entire team was extremely organized, professional, timely, easy to communicate with and overall just great to work with. They went above and beyond to ensure my day was perfect. Do not hesitate to book them for any of your events!

    Event Planning and execution are her super powers!

    Working with Covesa was a dream! She worked with us a day of coordinator and she orchestrated our day perfectly! I have worked with Covesa for years as a fellow wedding vendor-friend, so I already knew the high level of service that she provides, but to be the bride and to have her as a part of my day gave me a first hand insight as to how phenomenal she is! Event planning and execution is her super power! If you want your day to go smoothly, with every detail handled with care and passion, you should absolutely hire Covesa and her team!

    Wedding Planning Goddess!

    I had been going in circles, hesitant to pull the trigger on a wedding venue. Covesa Gragg knows the Northeast Ohio wedding industry inside and out and referred us to a venue she thought would be a perfect fit, and she was right! Despite her busy schedule, Covesa responds to texts, emails and calls almost immediately. Couldn't have asked for a better person to help plan the most important day of our lives!

    I would highly recommend her- AMAZING!

    Unfortunately, I was unable to move forward with Covesa but, to no fault of her own. She was professional, approachable, flexible, and very knowledgeable not to mention well known in the Cleveland Area. She even recommended other vendors to me that could deliver on my vision within the budget that made the most sense for me. Not many business owners would do that! Do yourself a favor and spend some time with her! She is a true visionary!!!

    PTBYC did my wedding in 2013 and now my baby shower. The service is always exceptional and unique. They made my event a wonderful memory. Covesa and Team are the best and I highly recommend them for any event.

    My wedding planner went above and beyond. I was very pleased with Covesa. I would definitely recommend her to everyone I know. Excellent job!

    Covesa and her staff provides a service like none other. She is very professional and knowledgeable. She has great ideas, and if you let her do her job you will have stress free planning and a stress free wedding day. She planned my entire wedding and worked with the deocrator to create a stunning event. I did not have to lift a finger. My wedding day was perfect and it started on time!! Totally worth it.

    Personal Touch was AWESOME, They were very professional and best of all innovative Covesa took my dream wedding and made it into a reality. My husband and I are more than pleased with Personal Touch services . Covesa and her assistants made our day more than special it was absolutely amazing.

    I am a bit of a control freak and was reluctant to turn over the planning to Covesa at first. But all I can say is WOW! I'm glad I did. My wedding was supposed to be about 75 people. It ended up about 150 and Covesa handled EVERYTHING. She even handled some of the family squabbles. She helped me make my invitations, she addresses them all, she send out a newsletter organizing details for the bridal party. Covesa also is patient with me. That took real talent at times. Covesa is worth at least double her fee. I would absolutely suggest that if you have a wedding, a birthday party, or any other event, you let Covesa get involved ASAP.

    I can honestly say the Covesa are all the above described, +. She was truly a pleasure to work with. Anything we needed she went above and beyond. She always kept a smile in person, and over the phone. To get reassurance that everything would work out and be just the way I wanted, was very comforting. With the economy being the way that it is, she made a way out of no way for a lot of things to happen. It was a blessing to have come across an angel! I would definitely recommend her to anyone, you will be very pleased!!

    Perkins Wedding

    Covesa Kelly Events is a top tier organized company when it comes to wedding planning. We hired Covesa and from the beginning she had so much insight on reasonable vendors in Cleveland. She knows her stuff! Her communication and checkins helped to keep the stress down during the process. I also loved how easy she made the seating chart with a template online. On wedding day, my bridal assistant, Brittany was excellent! She was there for my every need and ensured things progressed on time. I would definitely recommend Covesa Kelly events if you’re getting married!

    Covesa is amazing, and we definitely appreciate the work that she did for us and the time her and her staff put in to our wedding. My experience with her was close to a David Tutera/My Fair Wedding experience. We had the platinum package. She identified approximately three vendors that she felt would be appropriate for us, sent us websites and pictures, went to appointments with us. She really went above and beyond. And she was able to pick up on what my husband and I wanted without spending a lot of time with us because we live in a different city. It was a great experience. The way things came together the day of the wedding exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend her, and I really feel she could charge more than she does and only have a high-end clientele. I say that because she knows how to professionally manage challenging situations, and she does it with a smile and a great attitude. You usually only get that kind of service at high-end boutiques and stores like Saks.

    Covesa did a good job the day of the wedding. It was the time before the wedding in which I would not label as doing a “good job”.

    1) Unorganized approach – There would be periods of time where I would not hear from her and I would just email her updates about what was going on in the planning process. I felt like she hired me and I was reporting to her with updates. I believe that some contact should have been made in the early stages at least once a month asking me about the planning process and updates to what is going on and what she could do to help. I felt like I was not getting any type of service so much that I even wrote an email on April 17th informing her that I would no longer require her service. In fact, I didn’t talk to her for such extended periods of time I would not even become aware of services she could offer me until after I had already done the task myself. For instance, printing off the invitations. By the time I talked to her again I had already created and printed off the invitations for the wedding and at that time she stated that she could have done it for me. Good follow up would have prevented me from not becoming aware that she could have done this for me.
    Also, she would ask for same info repeatedly again and again. This was tiresome because I really did not have the time to continue asking the same questions over and over. A little more organization would have made this non-existent.

    She also promised things and not deliver. When we first met with Covesa she stated that she would help with getting to the airport for our honeymoon and also help with the thank you cards. Covesa did not mention doing any of these things during the time before or after the wedding. It is almost like those things were mentioned in order to get us to agree to use her.


    2) Inappropriate Vendors - There was also a meeting set up by Covesa to meet with a decorator. This decorator was unprofessional and aggressive informing me that I needed to pick another color for my wedding and basically saying what I had envisioned for my day with my money was not good enough. I believe when I presented my wishes to Covesa those wishes should have been carried out in accordance to what I wanted. All I wanted was an all white décor. I should not have been hassled to change because it would not be the easiest for them to do. I felt as if I was getting attacked and Covesa was not going to attempt to stop the progress of the meeting until I expressed my dislike for their approach.
    There was also a vendor who was a travel agent. The travel agent was a very nice lady but it was apparent that she was not good at finding the best rates or even putting the information in the computer to give you the correct price. Every time I touched base with this travel agent within a 48-hour time frame the price of the vacation would go up hundreds of dollars. The worst part was that I was not adding anything to the vacation. For some reason she kept misquoting me.


    3) Tried to push her vision – On the day of the wedding I got the majority of what I wanted but a lot of easy things I believe could have happened but did not. For example, I could tell from the beginning that Covesa did not like the ideas of balloons and when the day of the wedding occurred there were no balloons. I still don’t understand why there couldn’t be balloons at the wedding.




    All in all Covesa did an OK job but I would not recommend her to anybody else. I felt as if I was the one making sure what was promised was delivered and making sure nothing I wanted was mysteriously not carried out. A good planner understands the bride’s needs and wants and works to carry those out while delivering and stress free easy experience. I did not get that the majority of the time with Covesa.
    But again, the actual wedding events she was fantastic, it was the time leading up to the wedding in which I had issues with her services.
