Becca is one of the most talented people I have ever met. I've looked at tons of wedding blogs and spent days on pinterest but can HONESTLY say that my wedding flowers were some of the most gorgeous I've ever seen.
Within 15 minutes of sitting down for my consultation, I knew I wanted to work with Becca. I shared some inspiration pics, a color pallet and some ideas and she just went with it! My wedding was the afternoon of August 30th and I wanted the flowers to reflect the end of summer, end of the day, pinks and peach with a bit of dark moodiness. She totally got my vision!!
It was a privilege to carry a bouquet that beautiful down the aisle! The arrangements and a beautiful installation of vines and flowers, which she hung above my venue's doorway made such an impact. I don't think I will ever get over my flowers! Working with Petal Floral Design was the best decision I made of the whole wedding!! No joke.Becca is one of the most talented people I have ever met. Becca is an artistic genius and a joy to work with. From day one, she was kind, professional, responsive and so much fun. Her enthusiasm and passion for her work is contagious, so much so that the flowers quickly became the aesthetic aspect of the wedding that I was most excited about. From our first consultation, Becca understood exactly the look that I wanted. When my wedding day finally arrived, her work was so gorgeous and stunning, a true masterpiece--she completely blew me away with a design that was better than anything I ever could have imagined and transformed my family home into the most spectacular and dreamy wedding venue. These ladies are nothing short of amazing. I had them do the flowers at my outdoor wedding (already a beautiful venue - but I wanted things that would compliment the natural beauty). The centerpieces, the backdrop for the ceremony, the wreath that was on the iron gate when you walked in - wonderful. But my bouquet. Wow. The bouquet that Becca and Molly created was gorgeous. I don't think I've ever seen something so beautiful. My husband's aunt is a florist in Washington state, and turned to me and said "That is probably one of the best pieces I've ever seen." They were easy to work with and I never once worried what the end result was going to be. I had the utmost confidence in their creative vision for the day. I saw Becca and Molly's work for the first time two years ago and I knew from that moment that I HAD to have them when I got married! I contacted them a few months ago and from the first email they sent they were friendly, helpful, and worked with us every step of the way. Because we live in CT I skyped Becca to talk about our wedding and it felt more like I was chatting with an old friend than a wedding vendor. My daughter was married at a lakeside camp in Maine. The flowers were absolutely magnificent. I have never seen more beautiful arrangements, and the bouquets were stunning. The cost was reasonable, particularly considering the quality and beauty of the arrangements. I have a peony garden at my house, and I have never seen more beautiful and huge peonies in my life!
I can recommend Petal Floral Design without any hesitation.

I am obsessed with Becca. Not only did she design the most gorgeous bouquet of wedding flowers that I, and all of my guests, have ever seen- but her details: the hair flowers (a flower that looked like a feather!!), bouts & corsages, and other decor were equally stunning. Not to mention that Becca herself is a ball of sunshine that turned into the life of the party at my wedding! I would absolutely recommend her. She knows her stuff and she made me cry at the sight of plants. Book her!I am obsessed with Becca. Becca felt like a friend all year during my planning process, but when the day of the wedding came, she was way better than any friend! :) Our flowers literally took my breathe away and, to my sweet relief, Becca set up the reception decor better than I pictured it in my head. We got married on a beautiful farm, and Becca took so many of the natural elements that were there and incorporated them into the design - such as placing hay stacks with lace draped and flowers as extra seating during cocktails. She listened to my ideas and added her own twist and creativity to them so I felt like she really saw my vision, and spiced it up. She added so many details that, together, made a huge difference. She was very patient with us, as even my husband had a specific vision for his bout and she carried everything out beautifully. She worked incredibly well with all of our vendors to ensure a cohesive final product and met with us and our wedding stylist on several occassions to walk through the design. From the minute we met with Becca at Petal Floral Design, we felt comfortable. She is a warm and welcoming person whose beautiful studio reflects her deep sense of aesthetics and artistic gifts. She is a thoughtful listener who clearly wanted to get a sense of who we were and what we were hoping for.
On the day of my daughter's wedding, Becca arrived at the hotel to set about her work. While we hadn't had a chance to let her know in advance of a change in our plans for the chuppah (canopy) we had assembled, she had come prepared with extra flowers and it turned out to be incredibly beautiful.
Everything Becca created for us was beautiful and beyond expectation - from the bouquets to the tables to the vases and votives. She truly is a "floral designer" and would recommend Petal to anyone looking for flowers that are gorgeous and anything but ordinary! When we had started our search for a florist for our wedding we struggled to find someone who understood what we were looking to create. We were at a low and unsure if we could find the right florist...that was until we met with Becca and Molly at Petal. After our first meeting with them there was a sense of relief that we had finally met the right people, they understood what we wanted, were absolutely lovely to work with and had a style all their own. This was one of the best experiences of our wedding planning thanks to Becca. They were so responsive (putting together an inspiration page for us to discuss and make sure we were on the same page, before signing a contract). The use of colors, tying in with the mood of the wedding and being able to show who we were came through in everything they did. They were truly interested in learning about all aspects of the wedding, so they could not only understand our vision, but to get to know us better. They also worked with our family to put together the rehearsal dinner flowers, which had a different theme and style, but fit the evening perfectly. They have such a good understanding of not only the flowers, but how everything ties together to make the setting beautiful. We have nothing but wonderful words for Petal and the work they do. I reached out to Becca from Petal Floral Design about 2 months prior to our ceremony. Our arrangement was little different, we were having our ceremony before following the celebrations later in the year. So we were really looking for only a bouquet and boutonnière. She was extremely helpful to accommodate our needs and was able to deliver a beautiful, romantic and elegant flowers. I was very happy with them. Following the ceremony, I reached out to her to ask recommendations on how to dry my bouquet and she was again extremely helpful. I am definitely thinking of working with her again for our celebration. My mother and I still talk about how unique and well done my wedding flowers were. My bouquet was straight out of a magazine and incredibly light weight . Becca is a floral designer - I gave her images- most unrelated to flowers of how I wanted my wedding to "feel". Like a true artist- she delivered exactly what I was trying to achieve. My flowers were soft, whimsical and most importantly very me.
