Amazing band that will make for a memorable night!
Peter Miles and the Miles Band were outstanding. They had a great cohesive sound and kept their finger on the pulse of the crowd. The dance floor was packed all night, and the band kept the party lively and fun. The band even learned a song for our first dance. Our guests could not stop raving about the band afterwards.
Peter Miles was a breeze to work with. He was available to help us choose songs for our processional, recessional, and made sure we felt completely heard about the music we wanted at our wedding. We fully trusted the band to select the setlist in the moment to match the vibe of the room — and they nailed it. Miles band - highly recommend
We first heard Miles play at my sister's wedding in Manchester VT in 2022. They did such an awesome job it was a no brainer to hire them for our wedding in Stowe VT in September 2023. Yet somehow, they exceeded our expectations! Miles is so easy to work with and very responsive over email. They do a great job reading the crowd and playing music to match that energy. I know play pretty much every type of music, but know they really exceled with classic rock, alt rock, jam songs, pop rock, etc. We used their speaker/mic for our ceremony, and had them play some jazz during the cocktail hour, both of which went off without a hitch. Far & beyond what we could have hoped for!
The MILES Band is absolutely incredible! We can’t say enough good things about them. They were very easy to work with, responsive and flexible. They even learned one of our favorite songs! They kept the energy high all night, even through an intense thunder storm, and we danced for 3.5 hours straight! All the band members are extremely talented and so fun to watch play! All our guests loved them and even our vendors asked how we found them! We highly recommend booking them for your wedding/event! They will not disappoint! We wish we could do it all over again!The MILES Band is absolutely incredible! We can’t say enough good things about them. They were very easy to work with, responsive and flexible. We worked with Miles for our wedding at The Grafton Inn in August 2023. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Miles was wonderful to work with and very responsive and flexible. Incredible!
The MILES Band came with excellent reviews from friends, and my fiancé had heard them live and knew they were great. But nothing could have prepared me for the way they transformed the dance floor on the steamy night of our casual farm wedding into into a high energy dance party, with joy flowing from the Millenials (our nieces and nephews and kids) as much as from the Boomers (us and our friends, since it was a second marriage for both of us.) From the sets that had something for everyone to a searing horn section to Miles’ rousing vocals, the band was what you want at your wedding: celebratory, sexy, and as tight as can be. Everything we hoped for
I met Peter Miles and his band 10 years before my wedding, and I always knew that when the time came, they were the only band I would call for my wedding day. Miles took care of playing our specially curated playlists for everyone walking down and up the aisle, our cocktail hour and our introductions, and he did so flawlessly. Then his band took over and was the soundtrack for an amazing evening. My wife and I are so grateful for Miles' work on our wedding day, and all the special accommodations he made so easily! Amazing Band!
We LOVED working with Miles & having the Miles Band at our wedding!! The music was great and everyone was on the dancefloor the whole reception! We received countless comments from guests about how much they all enjoyed the music selection & how much fun energy they brought to the whole night.
Miles was just as great during the planning process leading up to our big day too. As big live music fans, we knew we wanted a band over a DJ and we originally considered the Miles Band because of their different pricing offers & options. Miles was flexible about allowing us to change how many band members were included (ultimately we went with the full 6 piece band!) and even added on additional options for ceremony music and the Jazz Trio for our cocktail hour! The band was able to learn & play a few of our specialty dance songs as well, which added a special touch to the night! If you are looking for music for your event, you will not be disappointed with the Miles Band!!We LOVED working with Miles & having the Miles Band at our wedding!! Miles and his band are absolutely fantastic. They are amazing musicians, have an extensive, varied repertoire (with music for all generations) and are very personable as well. Guests of all ages were dancing all night. People kept coming up to me to tell me how amazing the band was. I had seen them in concert a number of times over the years and was SO excited when they were available to play for my son's wedding. They did not disappoint! Miles was also a pleasure to work with. He was generous with his time before the wedding and not only helped us plan the timeline, but made sure he understood my son and daughter -in-law’s vision of the reception and was able to provide exactly what they wanted. He also provided the music for the ceremony and played solo for appetizers and that all was perfect as well. The BEST VT band for weddings & events!
I've fortunately had the opportunity to work with Miles and his band many times, as I'm the Event Coordinator, for a popular Inn that regularly hosts weddings in Southern Vermont. The Miles Band is always my go-to recommendation for couples or clients who are interested in hiring either a solo acoustic guitar player (Miles himself,) duo or trio for cocktail hour, or the full band to play for their reception.
When I began to plan my own wedding, hiring Miles and his band was a no-brainer. We asked Miles to perform solo for our cocktail hour and then his band joined him for the reception. We knew they were the perfect band for our wedding since we had guests ranging from young adults to elderly folks. They had everyone dancing and we still get so many comments about how great they were! Not only are they insanely talented musicians, they are professional, organized and always so accommodating to individual requests.

My husband and I were married at the Grafton Inn in June. After hearing Peter Miles perform several times at the Phelps Barn pub, we asked him to sing at our welcome bonfire. What a talented musician! Our guests loved the relaxed vibe of the night and told us over and over how much they enjoyed the music, which ranged from vintage James Taylor to Ed Sheehan covers, and included some fantastic original songs as well. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Miles, for helping to make our wedding weekend so memorable!My husband and I were married at the Grafton Inn in June. Peter Miles Band for the win!
From start to finish, Peter and his band mates were total pros. They kept the party moving and the guests engaged throughout the evening. My wife and I would highly recommend hiring this band for your wedding day. I wanted to perform with my wife and my old singing buddies and Peter was awesome in supporting that. I can’t say one negative thing. This band doesn’t disappoint, many of my musician friends commented on the quality of the band. We hired Peter Miles for our Friday evening welcome party. He provided wonderful music that was perfect for the setting he was in. The MILES band was an awesome addition to our wedding day and I would recommend them to the highest degree. From our first communications months ahead of time to the day of, Miles was prompt, professional, and friendly. He performed solo acoustic for our ceremony, emceed our event and brought the whole five-piece band for our reception. The range of his performances was spectacular, from intimate and calm to full-scale party, the energy he brought was always perfect for the moment! Our venue had very strict decibel limitations and he was very flexible and willing to work with our coordinators to ensure he could deliver the very best experience. Days afterwards, the staff went out of their way to comment that the band was the best one they had ever hosted at the venue. My wife and I put live music high on our list of priorities and I can say with confidence that Miles and his band absolutely delivered on all fronts. Excellent music, Tight band
I’ve been a fan of the Miles band for years and was so glad to be able to hire them for my wedding. They are professional, flexible and great to work with. Our dinner ran longer than planned, the Miles band was ready to go and played really tight sets so that we could enjoy their music and dance as long as possible. All your guests will complement them and your good taste. Everyone will be on the dance floor from start to finish! All my favorite reception memories are on the dance floor! Fabulous music AND dance band for wedding!
My daughter Kristin and her fiancé Alex were married 9/14 in Brattleboro and what a reception we had with the Peter MIles Band front & center! From the speeches and dancing of daughter/dad and groom/mom, Peter “hit all the right notes”! And then the REAL dancing commenced after the dinner; AND with a passion - ALL who were dancers could NOT sit still! The Peter MIles band can do blues/funk of the parents Motown era, to country, to the more modern tunes too! THE horns and the solos are ALL so great! I checked them out at Whetstone Station in Brattleboro and sent the videos to my daughter! SLAM DUNK! Dad backed out and daughter had fabulous connection with Peter on all questions and details!

Peter Miles was wonderful to work with from our first communication through our whole wedding day! The Miles band got our guests up, dancing, and engaged guests with FABULOUS music, and bringing their energy. It was hard to sit still! All of the guests whether they were dancers or not told us how much they really enjoyed the Miles Band. Peter Miles is professional, clear communicator, fun, flexible and organized. We highly recommend him for your wedding!

Wonderful Addition to our Wedding Welcome Party
Miles was the perfect addition to our outdoor welcome party - he is such a skilled musician and played lovely songs that were perfect for the evening - we are still getting compliments on how great he was. Communication was quick and easy and I am so happy we had Miles provide the background music for our event, it elevated our evening and was a great addition... so much better than no music, or an iPod.. Miles is worth it!! He was so easy going during the event as well (as we had a delayed start to our speeches and his scheduled break) - I only wish we had more time for him to play and that the music didn't have to stop. I highly recommend Miles - either solo or with the band - you and your guests will love him! Amazing sound
This band was amazing! They play great dancing music and their sound is fantastic! They had EVERYONE dancing, young and old, the entire night! Miles and his band were amazing from the very first contact. They were responsive to emails and very accommodating. We had Peter Miles play solo guitar for our ceremony, the Jazz Trio for cocktails and the full 7 piece band for our reception. Our guests were thrilled and we were also really happy. The Miles Band exceeded our expectations and made our wedding day fun and memorable. We actually discovered Miles when he was playing at The Grafton Inn for a Friday night entertainment. His music was beautiful, relaxing, and he covers everything from The Beatles to John Mayer to Country and full spectrums in between. Ceremony and Cocktail hour
We had Peter for the ceremony and cocktail hour. To mix things up a bit. He was perfect. So many compliments! We had a chance to use the Miles band as a solo, trio, and full band at our wedding. Miles was easy and fun to interact with. The band is full of talent and enhanced our whole wedding experience.
