  Julia is amazing! She worked with my mom at her wedding and we made sure to keep her information for when I got married. Her attitude is the best and the photo quality is incredible. She constantly has an eye out for beautiful shots, and she took care of every single shot we asked for prior to the wedding. We did not do a 'first look' so she had all of 45 minutes to do our couple photos, as well as our family & bridal party photos, and she did an amazing job in that short of a time. I can't recommend her enough!!

  Hiring Julie was one of the best wedding decisions I made! She was prompt to respond to emails in the days leading up to the wedding and helped me create a timeline for the day. The day of the wedding was wonderful! She was warm, friendly, and very creative with the photos. She went above and beyond in the wedding day, even sewing my broken bustle and fixing my flower girl's hair! She made the wedding day so special and memorable and made everything so fun and easy. I hardly realized she was there! She captured beautiful images and the day was such a blur that I was excited to relive it through photos. Julie did an amazing job and I will cherish the images for years to come!

  We recently got married on September 28, 2013 and had Julia as our photographer. Saying she does amazing work is an understatement. Her pictures were above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Each picture was more beautiful then the last. Her eye for "in the moment" shots is unbelievable. I couldn't have asked for anything more - she is the best and my family & friends all commented on how wonderful she was throughout the day.   Julia was the photographer at my wedding. She did an amazing job. She was professional, prompt, and most importantly listened to what we wanted. Julia captured every part of our wedding through her photographs that we will forever have!

  My wife and I were lucky to be surrounded by wonderful, competent vendors on our wedding day, and our photographer Julia was no exception. We knew that the photos of our wedding would be the most lasting representations of the day, and so we put a lot of thought and care into how we wanted Julia to capture us, our family, and our friends. Looking through her website, we were instantly drawn to her photojournalistic style, meaning she prefers to capture events as they happen as opposed to elaborately staged photos. She's quick to capture a spontaneous moment, like when my friends decided to lift me up on their shoulders and sing For He's a Jolly Good Fellow. Seeing those spontaneously captured moments in our photo album today makes us so happy.
  
  One thing we loved about Julia is how she worked. She took the time to meet with us and just get a feel for our personalities. A few months before our wedding, she took beautiful engagement photos of us as an exercise in learning what our genuine smiles looked like so she knew how to capture pure moments of happiness on our wedding day.
  
  Another reason we went with Julia was her comprehensive package deals. We got so much more than just photos from her; with the package we bought, we got a beautiful photo board album for us, smaller ones for our parents, pocket-sized brag books for our aunts, two large foam board blow ups, prints of all of our proofs, the engagement session, and, most importantly, all of our photos on a memory stick. When putting together our photo album, Julia first presented us with a layout of her favorite photos. She was happy to spend time with us to customize the album to our liking, giving us total editorial control over the final result. Considering that we know people who still have not put together wedding albums for themselves, we're so relieved to have have a completed album before our first anniversary.
  
  Julia is fun, talented, and genuine, and we would highly recommend her to anyone!

  When we met Julie, we walked out of the meeting and knew she was the one, and booked her just a few short weeks later. Her personality, friendliness and experience sold us right away!! Julia stayed for our entire wedding! From beginning at my husbands house then to my parents house, followed us to venue and was there until we left at the end of the night! The pictures she took tell a story of the entire day! My only regret is that we didn't give her enough time, she did the absolute best with the time she had. We did not see each other before the ceremony, so our time slot for pictures was 1 hour during cocktail hour. We simply ran out of time. Between the large family group shots, bridal party group shots and then being told time was up and we had to get inside. Pictures of my husband and I got rushed. I was very happy with that Julie did in such a minimum amount of time! Before and after the wedding, I would text, call or visit her with any questions & she was always welcoming, calming and knew exactly what to say. I couldn't thank her enough for our amazing albums and her great personality! She not only photographed our wedding but also shots for our save the date magnets which she had made for us and she also designed and had our thank you cards made as well!!! She played a huge part in our wedding and I couldn't thank her enough!!! <3

  As soon as we were engaged I knew I wanted Jul to photograph our wedding. I was familiar with her previous work and right away knew she would be a perfect fit for us. Right from the beginning she made everything so easy that we were able to enjoy our engagement and the planning. She worked with us with our ideas and understood what we were looking for that when it came to our wedding day we didn't have to worry or think about anything else but getting married to each other. Jul made us feel so comfortable that we could show our true personalities in the pictures.
  
  I cannot begin to explain how happy we were with our engagement and wedding pictures! I continue to get compliment after compliment on how stunning our pictures and albums are. She captured every moment of the day that we'll always cherish. Every picture is my favorite!

  Julie was absolutely wonderful! Every picture we wanted she got! She did not take time away from our event and still managed to capture all of our memories! Our photos and albums are amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

  From the first time we met with Julie- we knew she was going to be our wedding photographer. She asked the right questions and listened to what we wanted to take from our wedding day. She was very in tune with our wedding and was able to provide suggestions that not only enhanced the photography but the entire experience. We were extremely comfortable with her direction and we knew that we were in great hands.
  
  As for the wedding day-well she was on her "A" game. Whether it was having a needle n thread in her bag, catching a great angle, or coming up with a beautiful back drop-she exceeded all expectations. She has a creative eye and a photo-journalistic approach that we had not seen in anyone else.
  
  The results- well the first time I saw he pics I was speechless. We show some people our pics and they don't believe they are real-that's how good she is. She caught the dynamics of the day, the beauty of my bride, and all of the elements that we wanted to incorporate into the wedding. The wedding was at the beach and those photos absolutely rocked.
  
  I guess in short- me being the groom, well i just wanted my wife to be happy. Julie accomplished it tenfold. Julie has this innate ability in her work to highlight the little things in the wedding-that typically go unnoticed to me and truly capture the essence of the day.   We absolutely LOVE Julie!!!! She is such an amazing person and photographer!!!! Her fun and down-to-earth personality makes her seem more like one of the girls than a vendor you hired. It was unbelievable how just one person could take so many photos and be there to catch just the perfect shot. We had so much fun with her and she will keep you smiling till the last photo is taken. Would not of had it any other way!!! Thanks Julie for EVERYTHING!!!!!

She is incrediably knowledgable with a great mix of tradition and the new trends. She is very reasonable priced especially after shopping around A LOT! Julie takes time to get to know you as a couple -she appreciates you as a person, your families, and your story.

  Julie is absolutely wonderful! She came recommended to me by a co-worker at work and I also knew her from doing the kids portraits at the school where I worked. She is easy to talk to and get along with. She has wonderful ideas for different kinds of shots. You also get sooo many photos for the time she spends. Example, for our wedding we had a total of over 600 proofs to go through and choose from. I do not consider myself to be a photogenic person, but Julie made me look beautiful in every shot she took of me! The choices she gives you are endless with photos, albums, etc. I feel her prices were comparable to what you would expect to pay for great photos. She also comes fully prepared to help her bride out. For example, my gown was not bustled properly, it was way too long in the back when I tried to waltz with my hubby. Julie pulled me aside and pulled out her wedding kit! She pinned my dress up so that I could move freely around the dance floor. Simply put she was more prepared than my mom and wedding consultant put together! She does not loose touch with her clients either. Even my mom was so impressed with her that she has her doing a family portrait for us soon. I will definitely use Julie again in the future as well. For the brides and grooms who want beautiful photos and the ease of getting along with your photographer as if they were you own "friend" and for a good price, check out photography by julia!   Julie is the BEST! She is worth every penny and her work is AMAZING. She captures every moment, and is so creative. Everybody involved with your wedding will LOVER HER! I would recommend Julie to any bride that wants to remember your special day forever!

She was able to capture so many moments on our wedding day that were priceless. I asked her to capture the emotions of the day and she did. The only problem I had was deciding which pictures to choose for our album since there are so many great shots. I have received so many compliments on my wedding photos: She got so many shots that someone asked how many photographers I had (just Julia :)) I am planning on going back to her in the future for children/family pictures. By far the best price I found! I would recommend her without reservations.

I did not have to worry about her quality of pictures when we hired her for our wedding! She also had an assistant who took other pics of guests, while she was busy with us.
