  Absolutely amazing wedding photographer!

  Sarah Beth is the most amazing photographer! We were introduced by Kim Newton, our wedding planner, and immediately knew we made a wonderful choice. Sarah Beth spent an in depth phone call getting to know my husband & I off the bat in advance of our wedding. Her package included an engagement shoot which we absolutely loved! She drove over an hour away to photograph us at the spot we got engaged at months prior. On the wedding day, Sarah Beth was incredible & found a way to get all the shots we wanted! She is so accommodating, flexible, and provides such a high quality of service. Our families have been raving over her photos & how friendly of a person she is. My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Sarah Beth over the last year & honestly consider her a friend now! She is so kind & makes you feel so comfortable behind the camera. We cannot recommend her enough for your wedding!

  Incredible Photographer

  Sarah is an absolutely incredible photographer and person. We worked with Sarah for both our engagement shoot and wedding and are in awe of the photos we received- they are genuine, romantic, and absolutely beautiful. Moreover, Sarah is so creative, diligent, and kind and was a pleasure to spend so much time with on our special day. So many of our guests commented the same, and she was especially great with our older relatives, wedding party, and children. Sarah's services were more expensive than we had originally planned for; however, the experience and photos that we will cherish forever were 100% worth it.

  First-class special occasion photography

  I cannot recommend Sarah Tapanes of Photos by Sarah Beth more highly. Her photos - first of our engagement and then the wedding itself - were absolutely stunning and a perfect reflection of how we wanted to remember both occasions. She's also one of the hardest-working photographers out there, and won't quit until she feels she gets the perfect shot (even when it's 90 degrees out!). Best of all, Sarah is a lovely human being who actually takes the time to get to know her clients as people. You get the sense that she truly cares about you and the special occasions in your life almost as much as you do. We couldn't have been more thrilled with Sarah's work and can't wait to someday work with her again.

  Obsessed is an understatement

  I don't have enough positive adjectives to describe working with Sarah. My husband and I don't love having our photos taken, but Sarah made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot! We felt so relaxed and comfortable with Sarah and it shows in the pictures! She picked the most perfect spots in Old Town and we've gotten so many compliments on our engagement photos. Cut to the weeks leading up to the wedding and she was on top of timelines, family photo lists and shot lists! On the wedding day, I couldn't imagine having anyone else there capturing our day! Sarah was such a happy and fun presence at our wedding and she captured the MOST gorgeous photos of the day. I can't stop staring at them, they're perfect! 100/10 would recommend Sarah if you want someone to capture your day and make you feel your best self while doing it!

  No words for how amazing Sarah is, just book her you won’t regret it

  My brother and sister in law used Sarah for their wedding 8 years ago. Since then they have used her for maternity, new born, family shoots etc. I knew as soon as I was engaged that I wanted her to be our photographer and was over the moon when she was available for our date. However, once we went to book Im a little embarrassed to say, but I hesitated. The price was much more expensive that I had planned to spend and I saw other photographers we could hire that were priced less and I couldn’t decide. After a few days we pulled the trigger and booked her. Since that moment there have been no regrets (only slight shame that I ever considered NOT booking her because there is just no comparison). Our engagement photos are photos I’ll cherish forever and we just got our sneak peek of the wedding photos and I almost cried. I know so many friends who are underwhelmed when they get their photos and that is not a concern we have at all. She doesn’t just take great pictures, she has a way about her that pulls genuine smiles out of the people she’s photographs. She has such a great eye for the candies and such a great eye for making you feel less awkward in front of the camera. I always feel stiff or posed - that is not a problem here. In addition to Sarah — the people she brings with her (second shooter/assistant/etc) all embody her energy, so when you book her you literally have nothing to worry about. I have no idea how many weddings she’s done at this point, but she made me feel like mine was the only one that mattered and went above and beyond to make sure I had any photo I dreamed of. “Going through the motions” doesn’t seem to exist for her and I am so grateful.

  Sarah was the BEST!

  I recently got married September 1st and worked with Sarah for our engagement photos and wedding day! I think Sarah is great to work with and I highly recommend her to any bride! When meeting Sarah she skype called us which I thought was great I really felt like the photographer was very important for me on our wedding day and we all immediately clicked and was very excited to work with her! Both our engagement photos and wedding photos are beautiful, she is open and asked for all our ideas and has great ideas for us and the pictures have all turned out amazing. I had a huge bridal party and divorced parents, so we had a lot of combinations of photos and groups and she got everything done seamlessly. We had timelines and even had to tweak timelines for added things and she got everything done we wanted, and it all turned out perfect. I hope we get to work with her again for family pictures

  Book her now!

  There are not enough words to describe just how wonderful Sarah truly is. At the beginning of this whole process I had no idea what I was doing. I searched, and probably contacted, about 20 different photographers and went through every initial interview process. They were all wonderful but Sarah stood out. Speaking to her is like speaking to a friend that you've known for years who just so happens to be an expert in the wedding photography business. Throughout the whole process Sarah was always quick to respond and quick to quell any type of nervousness. She offered help whenever I needed it. She is well organized and on top of all of your details. She is nice, sweet, funny but she also means business. Girl can take some photos. She will pose you (get your good angle) and tell you what to do. She handles large groups well. We had a photo we wanted with over 50 people in it. She took the photo like it was a breeze. We had individuals at the wedding who were a little tough to handle but Sarah handled them like the pro that she is. I could go on for hours about how awesome she is. I have recommended her to anyone and everyone I know that is getting married. We had guests at our wedding telling us how awesome she is. Choose Sarah and I promise you won't be disappointed. I mean just look at her photos!!

  I don't even know where to start! From the very moment that I started talking to Sarah about our small wedding ceremony, I knew I had to book her. She spent so much time on the phone with me (we are not local to the area), going over all of her photo packages, different photo options, vendor suggestions (cake, flowers, dress - you name it!) and getting to know our story so that she could accurately capture our day. Her photos are nothing short of GORGEOUS. We just received our sneak peak album (the SAME weekend as our wedding) and my family and friends can't stop gushing about how amazing the photos are. Throughout our day, Sarah was there every step of the way offering to help in any way she could. I kept having issues with my shoes getting stuck in my dress, and more than once Sarah offered her shoes to me and told me she would walk barefoot. This is the type of person Sarah is. I feel so incredibly lucky that she was my photographer for this special day and I would absolutely recommend her to EVERYONE!

  Best Photographer out there!

  Sarah is legitimately the best wedding photographer out there. She is extremely organized, thoughtful, and did a wonderful job with both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Her work is gorgeous and I am so happy we hired her to capture all the special moments of the day.

  Best. Photographer. Ever!

  Sarah performed our engagement shoot about 3 years ago. Originally, I was never interested in having an engagement shoot but I am so glad we did because it is such a highlight of our engagement period. Sarah came to our apartment early at 6:00 am on a Sunday and then we walked over to Central Park for some epic photos. She was super responsive, friendly and ultimately went above and beyond throughout the full experience. She also has a great sense of humor which made our time together very enjoyable and entertaining. She is a very talented photographer, I was extremely satisfied by the quality the final product. Bonus: she offered an RTR outfit as part of the shoot which made for even more stylish photos. These stunning images now decorate our hope and every time I go to Central Park I think about that beautiful day. I can't say enough good things about her work and her personality. Love Sarah!

  My husband and I worked with Sarah for our first anniversary shoot, and she was nothing short of extraordinary! She was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, from questions to booking to scheduling. On the day of the session, she was very in tune with what we were looking for and what made us feel very comfortable. She also had some terrific ideas of where to go and poses to try. Sarah gives a little more instruction on posing than other photographers we have worked with, which is great for people who feel a little less comfortable in front of the camera, but there was still plenty of room for more 'candid' looking shots too. Our pictures came out amazing, and she turned them around in record time, even with several sneak peeks in between to tide us over! We even got tons more photos than we originally expected, and all were wonderful hi-res quality! I was very excited to work with Sarah before we booked with her, having followed her on Instagram and looked through her blog, but even so, I was completely blown away by the quality of our time with her and the final product. You can tell that Sarah really values her clients, their opinions, what they want to get out of the sessions, and making them feel comfortable through the process.   It’s hard to find the words to describe how incredibly blessed we feel to have crossed paths with Sarah. She was so much fun to work with. She is very bubbly and is really passionate about her craft – which she is awesome at, by the way. My husband and I opted to have a very small wedding and Sarah was the first vendor we booked. She immediately sent us recommendations that were very true to our style. We wanted the planning to be easy and the ceremony to be relaxed and Sarah was the perfect fit. Leading up to the wedding day, she kept in touch regarding our progress and offered to help with things that she really didn’t have to. We, respectfully, declined, but it was so nice of her to offer. Just shows how kind she is. She also had a very small wedding and was a wonderful support to us in the weeks leading up to our big (small) day. Small weddings are supposed to be easy, right? But they are actually pretty difficult. There are a lot of emotions that go into smaller events (since they are so intimate), but Sarah would often remind me of how wonderful her small event was which would give me hope. Top priority for us was to make sure our son felt included and she went above and beyond for him. She would make sure to give him roles so that he wouldn’t feel left out when we were taking our portraits. She made all of us laugh and we were very comfortable with her. It was like having family around. Effortless. Her heart is gold, guys! Sarah also went above and beyond when she delivered sneak peeks of our wedding on the same night as our wedding. It was such a pleasure working with her and we will be recommending her to all of our engaged friends. Can’t wait until we can take anniversary and maternity pictures with her.

She immediately sent us recommendations that were very true to our style. We wanted the planning to be easy and the ceremony to be relaxed and Sarah was the perfect fit. Leading up to the wedding day, she kept in touch regarding our progress and offered to help with things that she really didn’t have to. We, respectfully, declined, but it was so nice of her to offer. Just shows how kind she is. She also had a very small wedding and was a wonderful support to us in the weeks leading up to our big (small) day. Small weddings are supposed to be easy, right? But they are actually pretty difficult. There are a lot of emotions that go into smaller events (since they are so intimate), but Sarah would often remind me of how wonderful her small event was which would give me hope. Top priority for us was to make sure our son felt included and she went above and beyond for him. She would make sure to give him roles so that he wouldn’t feel left out when we were taking our portraits. She made all of us laugh and we were very comfortable with her. It was like having family around. Effortless. Her heart is gold, guys! Sarah also went above and beyond when she delivered sneak peeks of our wedding on the same night as our wedding. It was such a pleasure working with her and we will be recommending her to all of our engaged friends. Can’t wait until we can take anniversary and maternity pictures with her.

From our initial phone call regarding her photo packages all the way to two months after our wedding, I have had nothing but amazing things to say about Sarah. Sarah has become a great friend. She is a beautiful person inside and out. She is incredibly talented and and her and her team took the best pictures of our special day. There wasn't a moment she missed, in fact she captured moments that I missed and I was able to experience them after the wedding day through her beautiful photos. Finding the perfect photographer was my biggest concern when planning our wedding, and I can not imagine what the wedding would have been like without her. During the day of, Sarah Beth is calm and just a positive light to be around, but she doesn't hesitate to get stuff done. She was so willing to help with anything I needed (which is not part of a photographers job description), all while capturing the most beautiful pictures. I feel blessed to have found Sarah Beth and be able to have her as our photographer for engagement pictures and our wedding day, and I plan to use Sarah Beth any and every time I need a photographer. Sarah Beth helped us plan out the perfect first look and bridal party pictures around the Inner Harbor (which we highly recommend to anyone on the fence about a first look - that extra time just the two of you then with your closest friends is so special and memorable). We will treasure her gorgeous photos forever and know exactly who to call for family photos down the road!

  Sarah is an amazing photographer that quickly makes you feel comfortable. She takes great pride in her work. We received our pictures quickly and they were all amazing. When people see them they always ask who our photographer was. My husband didn't want a photographer at all and now he thanks me every time we look at our pictures. Sarah made our day perfect!
