  Absolutely Delicious!

  We had Kerri Piece of Cake as our wedding cake this past October, and the cake was absolutely delicious. She did a wedding cake as well as GF cupcakes (because I’m celiac). Both were amazing. People were basically fighting for the GF cupcakes cause they were so good. People gobblers up the cake and it was truly amazing. Literally the best frosting I ever had. I’m hoping she can ship me a cake for my birthday. :)

  We were referred to Carri for our wedding cake through our wedding coordinator. When we met with Carri, we instantly took a liking to her. After looking through her pictures on Facebook of cakes she's made, we knew that she was a true artist. When we told her our theme (board games) and what we wanted (game pieces on the cake) she asked us for specifics. We sent her some pictures, but told her that as artists ourselves, we trusted a fellow artist to make her own judgements. And we were right. The cake was a central talking point. Everyone LOVED how gorgeous the cake was.
  
  It was also an incredibly moist and flavorful cake! I've been told by more than a few people that this is now their standard for wedding cake decoration and flavor. thank you so much much, Carri!

  Carri did a phenomenal job on our wedding cupcakes, they were everything we wanted! She met with us prior to the wedding and made sure to customize the cupcakes to fit what we were looking for. I wasn't very specific since I didn't exactly know what I wanted and I gave only a few ideas and she took it from there. They were decorated absolutely beautifully, and tasted AMAZING!! We did several flavors that were very unique to the season (spice, YUM!) and she was able to incorporate our wedding colors perfectly. She took care of setting up everything the day of and made the whole process seamless!! Carri is unbelievably talented and we were so lucky to find someone to make the "icing on our day and cake" so much better!!

  Carri created a beautiful groom's cake for my wedding at Sunday River this past weekend. Our wedding day was also my husband's birthday, and I wanted to surprise him with something fun and unique at our rehearsal dinner. He is a business traveler and big on Skymiles, hotel points etc. (Delta in particular). I sent Carri a picture of a cake with a Delta Airplane and the words "fly away with me" around the sides. It was a fondant cake, which he doesn't like, so Carri made some adjustments and suggestions for how to change it so we could do a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing instead. I only communicated with her a few times over email and paid her in advance, so I had no idea what I was getting, but the cake arrived on time exactly as I expected and looked and tasted AWESOME. Our guests were very impressed. He pricing was also very fair and an incredible value. Highly recommended.

  Now I’ve had a lot of cake in my life, some I considered dry, tasteless, dense, moist, good, and even great, but never in my life have I had cake as good as the cake Carri makes. Not only was our meeting together very productive, we discussed everything, from flavors and photos to shapes and sizes, but Carri was just so relatable and easy to work with. We met quite a ways out from the wedding and I showed her some photos of what we were leaning toward for the cake, but honestly I can say even I was beginning to forget what we had asked for by the time the wedding came around. After our meeting Carri put together some cupcake samples for us, and I was amazed. We ended up keeping it simple, chocolate and vanilla tiers with a buttercream frosting, but the cupcakes we sampled were easily the best I had ever had. On the day of the wedding I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a photo of the cake while we were getting ready, so I sent out the scouts. Needless to say, the cake was GORGEOUS, she couldn’t have been more spot-on – there wasn’t a single flaw or detail out of place, it was exactly what we had asked for. I was worried that maybe in cake form, and sitting out all day, the cake would be dry and not as good as the cupcakes, but it was absolutely delicious! By the time Tim and I had cleaned up from shoving cake in each other’s faces the entire cake was gone – I think that speaks for itself.

  Carri McPherson runs an incredible business and makes some very tasty cakes! We opted for a three tier cake that she makes that looks like a birch tree, which fit into our rustic chic wedding style. Carri is very friendly and easy to work with. Unfortunately, we were never able to meet in person and only spoke over the phone, but everything was done beautifully and exactly how we discussed. The cake was gorgeous and we received many compliments on it, not only about its beauty, but of course as to how it tasted! Thank you Carri!

  Carri pulled off the exact cake that we wanted!! We gave her a photo and she had no problem building the cake! Not only was the cake exactly what we wanted, it tasted just as good as it looked! She was super easy to work with as well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO EVERYONE!!!

  Carri made the most delicious & gorgeous wedding cake and cupcakes for my recent wedding at Sunday River. Her prices are beyond reasonable and she created exactly what we wanted! We will be using her in the future for any celebratory needs in the Maine Mountain region.
