We didn’t have a lot of money in the budget for this, and had originally thought we would just use the keyboard player from our reception band to play solo for the ceremony. However, my husband and I are both musicians and felt very strongly about what we wanted our ceremony to sound like. Pizzazz Strings was priced reasonably enough that we were able to hire a string trio. Their repertoire include many more contemporary selections, which exactly what we had in mind. They did all the songs we requested and sounded lovely. I’m just sorry I never had a moment to thank them in person! -

This review has been a long time coming. Last year we celebrated our wedding and we had Pizzazz's string quartet plus harp perform during the welcome entrance for our guests as they were being dropped off at the venue, as well as during our ceremony and a 1.5 hour cocktail "hour". They came all the way to The Berkshires in Massachusetts. They were very gracious and we were able to pick all the meaningful, funny and important songs for us and songs that would make everyone smile, plus we made some special requests. Some of those needed the quartet to play with the harp, but they were so kind and wonderful to create the music sheet for that. All our guests (and us too!) were very impressed by their talent and charisma of the players. Watching our wedding videos it makes me tear up thinking about how beautiful everything was. Thank you! We absolutely recommend them. They were a very important part of making that day as beautiful as it turned out to be. Unforgettable! -

For pizzaz strings we went with the trio. Our overall wedding theme was classic with a twist. Andrea was very responsive and accommodating during the planning process. We heard nothing but great feedback from our guests regarding what was played and how they played it. We wanted to enjoy all of the songs they played but unfortunately we were running behind schedule with pictures so we missed cocktail hour, however, our guests mentioned they loved the music selection, especially the Thong song. The groom had his own entrance at the ceremony and came down to Still by Dre which got everyone excited and off their seat. It was perfect just like we envisioned it. One recommendation would be to send the tune and video to them early of how u envision a particular song to get on the same page. For us it was the bride and groom entrance songs, & Andrea and her team met our expectations. We were the most excited about this part of our day and we are so happy that it went well and it was well received by our guests!! A million thank yous! We 100% recommend! -

Amy Sent on 07/05/2018I hired Pizzazz Strings to perform at my June 2018 wedding (ceremony and cocktail reception) I first spoke with Andrea back in the fall of 2017 and was impressed with her from the start. Andrea is responsive to emails and is so very helpful - offering guidance along the way.
About 3 weeks before the wedding my fiance asked if we could add a custom arrangement which was not on their extensive music list. The song we chose did not have sheet music available but Andrea assured me that they would be able to transcribe and arrange the song by ear! The fee for the custom arrangement was reasonable (and a great value!) and we were so pleased with the way the song turned out. They are true masters at their craft. We loved the arrangement so much that it was played again at the end of the wedding - it was a truly memorable moment that we will cherish forever.
The guests have been raving about the song selection and performance since the wedding! Pizzazz Strings offers something that you cannot get with a DJ playlist - their performance elevated our wedding to a first class affair. My only regret is that I had to leave the building to have photos taken and missed hearing them play during the cocktail reception ha ha :) I would have traded the photo time to hear them play! We appreciated her accommodating us with arranging a special request as well. The music was beautiful; thanks to Andrea and her trio for making our wedding day more special for us and our guests. -
User1960846 Sent on 12/09/2014Pizzazz Strings did a wonderful job providing the ceremony music at my wedding. It was a Catholic ceremony and I worried they wouldn't be able to follow along, but every cue came at the perfect time. They also knew all the music I requested! When I was running late for the ceremony, I was told that they continued to play and fill the time with great pieces of music. True professionals!
