Ariana Sent on 05/16/2018I cannot recommend Sarah and her team more highly! I had very specific expectations for my wedding day and they met them all. She checked in all the time leading up to the big day without me seeking her out- which I found beyond wonderful (specially because I had only hired her for the day of package!). She was also super flexible about when to meet in person, since I did not live in Cincinnati.
She came to rehearsal and helped corral a bridal party of 14 (!!) plus my family members (many who didn't speak English), with all the patience in the world :) On the wedding day, she did what I thought was impossible and flipped the room between the ceremony and reception in only 1.5 hours. Somehow also managing to help me during pictures and guide guests. She was always everywhere and everything ran so so smoothly- all I had to do was have fun!! That came easy because I could tell she was handing everything well :) Also, I never had more than 2 seconds without a drink in my hand because she was always on it :P

Sarah Sent on 05/19/2014Sarah and Kate are WONDERFUL. I really couldn't say that enough. They did everything I asked plus more! They were so nice, professional and willing to do anything. I would have been a mess if they weren't there. They did so much to help us. They brought us a delicious fruit tray and sandwich, they helped make our reception venue look fantastic, Sarah continually made sure my dress looked great and the emergency kit of hers really helped mine! I had stains on my dress before the ceremony even started and she got them all out. Even saved my husbands neckline! I was freaking out but she really calmed my nerves. They checked in often through out the night to see if we needed anything etc. I could go on and on about how much they helped. They care about your day and it shows. They went above and beyond on our wedding day and I am so thankful of them that they were there.

Daisy Sent on 11/12/2013Brides, I was once in your shoes....I too thought I could put our wedding together all on my own. Pinterest was my best friend and I knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it done. That was until two months before our wedding. Then I had that "freak out moment". How the heck was I going to set everything up, make decisions, tell everyone what to do plus be the calm bride I kept promising myself I wanted to be. Oh and did I mention we live in Houston,Texas, and were only going to be home the week of the wedding! It was then that my amazing husband gave the thumbs up for us to find a Wedding Coordinator. As soon as I stumbled upon Planning4You I knew I was sold. I contacted Sarah that night, and immediately received a response. We talked on the phone a week later and booked them! I felt like a giant weight had been lifted instantly off of my shoulders! She calmed me down and even shared stories about chaos at her own wedding. We kept in contact up until the week of mine and Ian's wedding and that is when our services with Planning4you officially kicked in gear. Once we arrived in Cincinnati we met with Sarah. She listened to ALL of our ideas and concerns. Sarah helped finalize all of the last minute details that I had forgot all about. She kept me calm and literally put together the wedding of my dreams! The day of, as well as the night before, Sarah and her assistant, Katie, literally put my wedding and reception together piece by piece. If anything went wrong Sarah instantly fixed it without me even knowing about it! To this day she has still kept in touch making our experience with Planning4You that much more personal! I would have been totally lost without Sarah. She gave us a night we will never forget. The start of our happy ever after was truly a fairy-tale! Allison Sent on 09/19/2011Sarah was okay sometimes up until the day of the wedding. She responded in an acceptable amount of time to any questions I had. However, she never took initiative to actually plan anything. Whatever I needed done I had to ask her to do. I was keeping her on track more than she was me. And when she said she could print off the programs for us I thought she meant on a nice quality printer, not the one in her home (I could have done that myself). She came over to my mom's to help with favors but by that time we had most of them done. She never got in contact with anyone but me to get anything done.
The day of the wedding she was much to busy taking her own pictures for her website and had to be told to light the candles for the ceremony. She didn't make sure people were doing what they needed to. She told the groomsmen they couldn't leave the room. I had told her I didn't want my husband seeing me but the groomsmen were supposed to be handing out programs! I had to get my bridesmaids, mother and mother in law to go make sure everything was being done. My photographer and her assistant also helped to take charge of the schedule and make sure we were on time.
At the reception she went missing and didn't make sure our drinks and snacks were waiting when we got there. She once again was to busy taking her own pictures of everything. She didn't put our bubbles out on each place setting (they ended up getting lost) and didn't put our extra favors on the end of the gift table for people to take. She was also supposed to stay the whole time to make sure everything ran okay and to take the tuxes so we wouldn't have to worry about taking them back the next day, but she left at 9:30 (our reception lasted until midnight). At that point I was completely done with her and just wanted to enjoy myself. She kept pestering us for pictures when we would be trying to go talk to our guests. Thank goodness our DJ and her assistant ended up taking control of the reception and making sure we did everything we wanted on our schedule.
Then the word got to myself and my husband, after she left, that she was going around saying how she did such a good job but we never let her do anything and it was the easiest money she made. I would honestly just plan with my mother and mother in law next time because that is what we really ended up doing anyway since she needed her hand held every step of the way.
I think she needs to apprentice with an actual planner (she made it seem like she had done tons of events but apparently not) or go to school for it. Then she can see what a real planner will do. I pretty much just gave up on her being able to do anything by herself.Planning4You LLC's reply:
I do not believe that this review portrayed me very well. I did as much as I could for Allison and her husband. Before the wedding, I checked in almost every day to see if there was anything she needed help with, and to make sure she had all her vendors in line. If there was something, I was very prompt at getting an answer, including getting her in contact with Cakertainment, my cake vendor of choice. At the wedding, I was informed that someone else was going to light the candles, and when I found out that they weren't, I promptly went and lit them. As for not allowing the groomsmen to leave the room, Allison told me to make sure they were ALL in the room before she would go back into the building. Also the day of the wedding the florists did not have the correct vases for the tables, Allison called me frantically about it, and I immediately got everything under control. At the wedding I was very prompt with getting everything in order, including trying to find seating for people that were mixed up on the seating chart, which I did not make. I also ran back and forth many times to see if there was anything else she needed. I never went missing. I was always near them, or close enough to see if they needed any help. I made sure they always had a glass full of drink, and checked numerous times to see if there was anything else needed. As for the bubbles, I was told by the reception hall that they were not to blow them in the hall. The lady in charge took them and put them in a closet. I informed Allison of this, and she said she didn't care, that it was fine. Later on, she could not find her bubbles. I also did place the extra favors on the cake table, because they were candy, and I asked her if this was OK. She said yes. I did leave after I made sure she and her husband were both well taken care of and all the main events had taken place. I contacted her the next day to pick up the tux's that needed to be returned, and she informed me that she did not need me to do it anymore. I feel I did everything I could to make her day special, and I am very upset that she does not agree.
