Grant is extremely professional, organized, high energy, and so much fun. After working with him, we can honestly say we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding day.
Prior to the wedding, Grant asked us to share with him songs and artists we liked as well as a list of do not play songs. He used that as inspiration for the evening and totally nailed our music preferences.
He played the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and everything went off without a hitch. His attention to detail was obvious during the entire event. There was some wind during our ceremony, and Grant was in the back fine tuning our microphone the entire time to ensure that our vows came through clearly.
As soon as it was time for dancing, Grant got literally every single guest out on the dance floor! There wasn’t a single moment in the night when the dance floor wasn’t full. It was amazing to see how seamless his transition was from an elegant dinner to an absolutely amazing, high energy party. Grant read the crowd really well and strategically played a great mix of songs (for every age group) and then as he saw a bigger presence of the younger crowd towards the end of the night, he was able to cater the song selection perfectly to us. We had so many friends tell us how much fun they had and how amazing our DJ was.
We also rented the photo booth from him and it was an absolute hit. High quality, fun, digital photos that we will definitely look back on for years to come!
We absolutely could not have asked for a better DJ and highly recommend him to anyone! -

Excellent, Professional & SO FUN!
Grant was great - we always received prompt communication from him throughout the entire wedding planning process, even when our game plan changed multiple times. We gave him a general idea of what we'd like to hear but never were super specific about song choices/what not to play --- HE NAILED IT! Our dance floor was packed & so fun the entire night, I've honestly never been to a wedding where the dance floor was just so fun! We would recommend him to family or friends, in a heartbeat! -

DJ Aria is the best! He was the DJ for our wedding in October right outside of Philly and he had the dance floor packed all night long! He knew exactly how to work the crowd and played the best dance songs from old school classics and current day hip-hop – there wasn’t a moment the dance floor wasn’t full. DJ Aria was super responsive from Day 1 and so helpful in planning the night out from the ceremony through the last song and all events in between. We would recommend Play Productions to all our friends and family for any events looking for a great DJ for entertainment! I can’t wait for our next event we host that we can use them for! Thank you for being such an important part of our day! -

Kevin Sent on 09/25/2015My Wife and I decided to have a non-traditional wedding in DC which meant we would be looking for all of our own ceremony and reception locations as well as our own vendors for everything. After we found the perfect location for our cocktail reception we had to find a DJ that would help ensure it was a fun party! We heard about Play Productions LLC through a mutual friend and decided to start there with our DJ search. Once we spoke with Grant we knew we were done with our search! During the entire process leading up to our event Grant was available anytime we had questions or wanted to meet to review the space; he even met with us by phone one evening after 9pm because we had busy schedules. When he came to review the current DJ and space set-up he brought along a co-worker for assistance in evaluating the space and sound. Prior to seeing the space Grant conveyed that he had all the equipment he would need from speakers and mixers to wireless microphones and event request cards that guests could fill out. After seeing the space it was decided that he would be able to use some equipment at our location and supplement with some of his own stuff.
Prior to the event we communicated with Grant using online document to build out our music play (and DO NOT PLAY) lists and also to finalize the day of event timeline and announcement details. This made the process really easy for both of us because we could finish this any day or night (which as you will come to find out most of the wedding planning happens late after work :) ).
The day of our event Grant was professional and perfect for our event! Even now we continue to get comments on how much fun our wedding and reception were and how great the DJ was. Our reception was a wonderful party for everyone who attended and we will continue to provide Play Productions LLC and Grant with referrals as we have many friends with weddings coming up. If you need a DJ for your wedding or any event call and ask for Grant!

User2137578 Sent on 05/18/2015Really have nothing but good things to say, good knowledge of music and different music styles and different ages, not just the recent hits, we had songs from the 60's to 2015, and from country music to electronic, rap and even some songs in Spanish!
He also served as a DJ and it was perfect, there wasn't much that he needed to do, but he knew who had a say and was aware of what to ask before and during the event, he met us a couple of time to see the space and make suggestions while listening and respecting our wishes and opinions.
Finally, he was patient and professional with the usual guests who are too helpful with songs to play once the party had been going of for a few hours.
