Exceptional in every way
There are no words to describe how talented Amy is and how wonderful it was to work with her. We hired Amy for design and planning services for our wedding and let me tell you that she and her team are EXCEPTIONAL. Her vision and execution were flawless, and she is extremely calm, professional, organized, communicative, timely, and not to mention, one of the kindest and loveliest people you will ever meet. She took the time to get to know both my husband and I over several calls, always asking questions and genuinely interested in who we were individually and as a couple. When it came to the design, her vision exceeded our wildest dreams and fit us perfectly. On the day of our wedding, she was there every step of the way to make sure things went smoothly and efficiently, and that we both had what we needed at all times. All of my friends and family were so impressed with her that I still have guests asking me for her contact information so that they can use her for future events. If you are looking for help in planning your wedding or any event, I HIGHLY recommend Amy and I promise you will not be disappointed. -

Words cannot accurately describe how truly amazing Amy is. She was our person. My daughter got married May 29th, 2022 at the Graylyn Estate in Winston Salem. We actually found Amy after our original coordinator duped us. What a blessing in disguise! We were meant to have Amy. We were blessed to have Amy. She was everything and more than we could have expected. The Graylyn Estate has a lot of moving parts and requires someone experienced with excellent attention to detail as the wedding moves around to different areas for each part.
We didn’t have to worry about a thing. She was calm, organized and might I add extremely talented and adding her decorating touch. When my daughters strap snapped Amy came to the rescue and sewed it right back on. If you are looking for someone who can take your worry and stress away, someone who is calm, kind and a genuine person- this is your girl. It was important to my daughter to have someone by her side that could alleviate her stress, worries and concerns but also someone she simply enjoyed being around.
We couldn’t be more grateful for everything Amy did and the amazing attitude and presence that she comes with. I’ve never felt more calm and more grateful to have someone than we did this day with Amy. There is no price on her magic❤️

I feel incredibly fortunate that our venue required a day-of coordinator, because otherwise, there’s a good chance I would have totally missed out on the help Amy provided. I felt confident in my ability to make aesthetic decisions about the event, but I struggle with logistical details. Amy was happy to put together a unique plan tailored to this, so we only paid for the help we really needed. She kept things organized, assisted with contracts, saved us money anywhere she could, and generally made the day a hundred times smoother than it would have been without her. And that’s just event coordination! We also hired her for our florals, and they were absolutely breathtaking. Due to supply issues, there had to be a slight change of plans with the colors we used. This was ultimately a blessing in disguise, as Amy took that opportunity to design something really beautiful and unique that I love even more than I think I would have liked the florals we originally planned. For both coordination and flower design, she beautifully handled all manner of changed plans and unexpected circumstances. We couldn’t be more grateful. Seriously, look no further; you’ve found your planner/coordinator and florist! I’ve included some photos taken by Java Rose Photography to show Amy’s beautiful floral work. -

The best decision that we made was hiring Plume Events! Amy was our planner, designer, and florist for our September wedding. She truly is a renaissance woman who brought our vision to life!
The day really was everything that we wanted it to be -- classic, beautiful, intimate, and fun! So many of our guests remarked that it felt very "us" -- which is really a testament to Amy. She understood our vision from the beginning and executed it perfectly (and within budget!). She also recommended the perfect vendors for us. And the design and florals were AMAZING!! Our ceremony and reception spaces looked like a dream, and my bouquet was even better than I imagined. I had full faith in Amy, but she really hit it out of the park!
Unfortunately we had to move our wedding multiple times due to the pandemic, but Amy was always empathetic, thoughtful, and flexible. On the day-of, Amy somehow managed to handle the overall design, coordination, florals, and every little detail! She was always there when we needed her (like when my husband kept breaking his boutonniere, Amy would magically appear to fix it!). Her kind, calming presence was greatly appreciated. She made everything so easy for us, and allowed us to truly relax and have fun! Without question, it was the best money that we could have spent. I cannot recommend Amy more highly!!

Amy did our florals for our wedding in August 2021 and was one of our very favorite vendors. Our wedding was originally scheduled in April 2020 and she supported us through rescheduling our wedding twice, each in a different season. She has incredible style and she understood my vision so well, even though I didn't know a lot about flowers. I was obsessed with my bouquet and it was a perfect representation of me. Guests loved the hanging greenery in the chandeliers and we got so many compliments. Highly recommend!! -

I don't know if there are words to describe how amazing Amy is. From having to change plans 100 times because of the pandemic and then rain, Amy constantly remained calm. She delivered a version of our wedding way better than we could have imagined. From the table settings to the florals and everything in between, there wasn't a detail Amy skipped. Every single one of our guests commented on how they've never seen floral arrangements as beautiful as the ones she made. I seriously cried when she showed me my bouquet... And then again when she gave us the most special moment of the night which was entering the reception space before anyone else just to take it all in. This was our plan b because of rain and it actually made us glad it rained because of how gorgeous it was inside! If you want a fairytale wedding, Plume Events is who you should use. -

We used Amy as our florist for our wedding in December. I sent her one picture of a bouquet that I loved and she absolutely nailed it! I was so happy with the result. Not only that but she was one of my favorite wedding vendors to work with. At our initial telephone meeting she really listened and took very detailed notes on what we wanted. I knew I could really trust her to get everything done exactly as we had discussed. I was incredibly impressed by her response time, attention to detail, and willingness to work around our budget. I couldn't recommend her highly enough! -

I cannot say enough about how amazing my experience with Plume was! Amy and her team at Plume are just incredible, wedding day saviors, and I am so grateful to them! I am just now getting around to writing a review but Amy was my wedding planner and Florist for my wedding back in October. She has incredible taste, a keen eye for detail and she is such a kind and easy to work with person. Her planning services were just above and beyond, she was so on top everything and nothing went forgotten on the day of - not even the tiniest of things. I also used her for all my florals and she is a very talented florist, I honestly don't know much about flowers at all so I completely trusted her with a vision for all my floral arrangements and bouquets and they were complete showstoppers. Amy also makes amazing recommendations for linens, other vendors, overall design and aesthetic, she's just "the works" and I totally loved having her for our wedding day needs. She is a super reliable and trusted partner, and I hope to work with her again at some point - BOOK PLUME! You will not be disappointed with her services. :) -

Everybody needs an AMY! She is so sweet and knows any and everything about weddings. She tried her best to keep me on budget, but I wouldn't allow it! We used her for partial wedding planning, but she was there every step of the way. On our wedding day I was able to relax and enjoy the day because I knew that Amy had everything under control. Her design and execution were impeccable. I am sad my wedding day is over; it was PERFECT thanks to Amy and her team. THANKS AGAIN!

Amy knocked it out of the park! The colors, the fruit, the bouquets were all so gorgeous. My first little tears of the wedding day are when she delivered my bouquet to me! That sounds dramatic, but all you brides out there hopefully know the feeling! We made an alteration to the ceremony backdrop a week or so before the wedding and Amy rolled with it and created a stunning corner piece. I would 100% recommend working with Plume Events for all things design and flowers. -

Amy is a no-brainer -- the absolute best!
Amy was an absolute joy to work with and SO talented. We planned a wedding in Raleigh from across the country from San Francisco and were nervous about how to find the right vendors -- we truly struck gold with her. She was a two-fer, as our planner and florist and flawlessly executed on both. Our plans changed a number of times, and all through it she helped my realize our design vision and stayed true to what we were going for - what she called "sophisticated boho", fairly against the grain from the "southern charm" vibe that undoubtedly dominates most of the wedding requests she gets. Nevertheless, she found the most special details, with floral surprises I hadn't even thought of, and not to mention actually saved the day on the wedding when we had some planning mishaps. And she conducted our rehearsal while having poison oak in the dead of southern heat, without a single complaint. I cannot recommend her and her services enough, I just wish I had another wedding to plan with her at my side. She's stellar and so sweet! -

Plume Events did an OUTSTANDING job on florals at our wedding in November. Flowers/greenery were one of the top five most important details of our wedding, and Amy (Plume Event's owner) absolutely crushed it. We retained Plume Events/Amy as a vendor based on our planner's recommendations and her previous work as portrayed on Plume Event's website and Instagram. If you haven't seen pictures of her work, you will be doing yourself a disservice if you don't go view her work product on her website/social media!
What we really love about Amy's work is its broad reach. We have seen beautiful weddings that Plume Events have serviced that have been more romantic/traditional and weddings that are more modern and funky. Amy and Plume Events can do it all, and they do it all REALLY well. For this reason, we let Plume Events run with our wedding with very little direction. We told her (probably amorphously and very confusingly) what we wanted, and she came up with something that was beyond what we could have imagined and so perfect for our day. For example, her and our planner came up with the idea to incorporate (AND create) a hanging floral arrangement to hang from our clear-top tent. It was stunning and our favorite detail at our wedding. The bouquets/boutonnieres/arrangements were also beautiful... she had the most unique flowers/greenery, and we know from talking to her how much time and energy she put into every detail. And this energy did not go unnoticed. By far, we received the most comments from guests on the flowers/greenery.
In sum, we cannot recommend Plume Events and Amy enough. Amy is super sweet, professional and amazing at what she does. She is great working with people who have direction and a plan as to what they want, and she is wonderful working with less knowledgeable clients as well. She is incredibly versatile, flexible and helpful. I feel very fortunate that our planner recommended her to us and that we ultimately were able to work with her! -

Enlisting Amy's help in wedding planning/coordination, styling and floral design was easily the best decision we made in planning our wedding. From our first meeting, working with Amy was an absolute joy. She took the time to get to know us, and made sure everything about our wedding day, down to the last detail, reflected who we are and what is important to us. My husband is in law school and I'm in medical school, so the thought of planning a wedding seemed daunting, but having Amy's help made things a breeze and allowed us to enjoy the process! We got to help pick the things that were most important to us, and could trust the rest of the details to Amy's incredible taste and awesome vision. Our florals were gorgeous, and every detail, from the tables covered in candles to our lounge area to the apple cider & s'mores station, exuded casual Southern elegance. When it came to the day-of, Amy made sure everything flowed seamlessly so that we could enjoy the day with our families and friends. I can't say enough good things about Amy, and I give Plume Events our highest recommendation! -

Natalie Sent on 08/17/2018Working with Amy of Plume Events was truly one of my favorite parts of our entire wedding planning process. Amy did our florals, and did an absolutely amazing job. Though I love flowers and had a very specific vision in mind, we had a fairly strict budget, and Amy was totally respectful of that. She took my ideas, made wonderful suggestions, and made the whole thing fit into our price range. The arrangements she made were absolutely gorgeous, and I loved the greenery and garlands that we had at our reception - I wish we could've kept them all! And more than anything, Amy was so flexible - our wedding day ended up being quite rainy, and she was able to create an absolutely lovely arrangement on the latticework behind our ceremony as opposed to the arbor we had planned, which we actually ended up loving even more! I loved that she was able to see the overall style I was going for with the wedding and suggest different kinds of flowers to complement what I had already envisioned. Amy has a real eye for this! I could not recommend her more highly, and based on our experience with her as a florist, I bet she'd be a wonderful planner/coordinator as well!

The Floral arrangements were done so beautifully, I could not have imagined anything better. She sat down with me a month prior to the date and we discussed everything from the timeline to the decorations to the details with the ceremony. She captured everything that I described to her with the flower arrangements. I am so happy with choosing Amy to be our Wedding Planner & Florist. I will be recommending her to others! -

She helped us find vendors when we knew we had a specific item and needed it at the right price. She did our flowers and they were beyond breathtaking, i couldn't have asked for more. She was always there when i needed her whether it was for moral support, decision help, or conceptual design ideas. Our wedding was beyond breathtaking and everything we dreamed of. If you want not only a vendor but a friend and confidante for your wedding she is totally your girl!

Amy Sent on 03/05/2018Quite honestly, your wedding will not be as good without Amy and Plume Events - she is truly amazing!
I was completely overwhelmed when I first met with her and she immediately took so much off my plate and helped me prioritize. She exceeded my expectations on how attentive she was both during the planning process and the actual wedding day.
I am exceedingly proud of my wedding and still show off pictures more than eight months later. I am forever grateful I found her! -
