Just the best!
We had an amazing experience working with Lynn and her team at Pollen for our wedding in February! I didn't have much in the way of a "vision" for our day (no colors or theme) but this wasn't a problem for Lynn at all. We were able look at examples and talk about general direction, and some of the different flowers and color palettes that I was drawn to. From there, Lynn did an amazing job pulling together something perfectly vibrant, romantic, and unique. My bouquet (pictured here) was just gorgeous. Pollen's work made our whole venue warm and colorful on cold Chicago day and I'd work with them again any day! -

Pollen was EASILY my favorite out of all the different companies I worked with for my wedding. They create beautiful florals, and Lynn, the owner, is just the most amazing, laid-back, friendly person to work with during a stressful time!
I did a lot of comparison shopping for almost every aspect of my wedding. But from the first time I met with Lynn, I had an almost instant good feeling about it all. She's so welcoming, and her slideshow of examples mixed with looking at my Pinterest board on a big screen totally put me at ease and made me feel like she could capture what I was imagining! When her prices ended up being some of the best around, it was a win-win.
Day-of, the flowers were stunning. I received so many compliments and if I could go back and do the day over again, I'd mostly just want to admire all the flowers 10x more. Choosing Pollen for my wedding flowers was definitely the best decision I made throughout all of wedding planning. -
Courtney Sent on 09/08/2018When planning my wedding, the flowers is the one area that I ended up splurging, and I am SO happy that I did. When researching possibilities, I knew I wanted to incorporate in season flowers and find a florist that reused/ repurposed the flowers after the wedding day. I found Lynn at Pollen, and she was able to guide me through the whole process with ease. At our first meeting, she showed me flowers that would most likely be blooming around my June wedding date. I showed her some of my ideas from my Pintrest board, and she was able to capture my vision perfectly. Even when I had a change of heart a few months before on the color palette, Lynn was able to quickly make adjustments to meet my needs. The bridesmaids bouquets turned out to be absolutely breathtaking along with the centerpieces, candles, succulents, greenery, and grass (yes, grass!) place card table. Lynn was able to incorporate the eclectic yet modern look I was going for, and her flowers completely transformed the venue. Thank you so much for everything! The flowers along with the accessories looked so stunning!

Mike Sent on 11/26/2017You put a lot of somewhat blind trust into florists for an occasion such as a wedding, so choosing the right place for your is very important. We found that our experience with Lynn was as worry-free as you could realistically expect. The time that we spent with her at her storefront was fun and very efficient. Lynn is very approachable and genuine, and does not come off as someone just looking for a way to make a quick buck. She was extremely open to finding styles and ideas that fit our unique perspective on floral arrangements and decorations for our ceremony and reception. We have received countless compliments on her contributions since our wedding day. Several people were just blown away by the beauty of her arrangements that we obviously not just your regular old ideas. We highly recommend Lynn to anyone looking for a reliable, open-minded, and respectful florist in the Chicago area that also has a social and environmental concscience.

I do not know much about flowers and she was able to create exactly what I wanted based off a few simple ideas I had. She stayed to make sure every detail of our night was taken care of and her crew even cleaned up at the end of the night so we didn't have to worry about a thing on our special day. I couldn't have asked for a better florist, I would definitely use Lynn for my flower needs again in the future. -
User2317486 Sent on 09/15/2015I cannot say enough about Lynn from Pollen. Lynn was the ONLY floral vendor who took me on having a somewhat short engagement-only 5 months. She was easy to schedule a consultation with- just click on the link to her google calendar and select a time and you're set! We met and discussed my likes, dislikes, and reviewed my pinterest page. She drew up a very clear and fair estimate for me and we were off and running. I gave Lynn very little guidance on flower selection or color - she is the professional after all, not me. When i came home from hair and makeup on my wedding day and saw the flowers waiting there for me... I was speechless. They were so incredibly beautiful that it took my breath away. I couldn't have ever envisioned something so beautiful- dusty lavender roses, butter yellows, peaches, pale pinks and pops of burgundy with green leafy ferns all wrapped up in a navy blue satin ribbon. I got so many compliments from my friends and family about the flowers. Lynn found the perfect glass containers to compliment the theme of my wedding. The colors and textures and varying sizes of the floral arrangements really brought life and color to my tables. Lynn was flexible in offering me a very fair price to purchase the containers instead of renting them from her so that we can re-use them at our second reception in two weeks. Thank you Lynn for making my day so special!! -

Allison Sent on 08/03/2015Lynn is an absolute gem-- she's an awesome florist AND she's awesome to work with! We're totally kindred spirits when it comes to using locally grown, in-season blooms and she grasped my "prairie" theme right away. Even though my vision (and my color scheme) changed along the way, she was patient an responsive and perfectly captured the essence of our "vintage-garden" wedding. The bouquets and boutonnieres were gorgeous and complemented our muted palette even better than I imagined. We got so many compliments on our one-of-a-kind blooms... I can't wait for the photographic proof! Whether you're in the market for an eco-friendly florist who is committed to sustainable practices, or you dig a garden-y vibe, save yourself a lot of trouble and just contact Lynn-- you will NOT be disappointed! -
