We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. Ponzi vineyard is gorgeous and quiet, which was perfect for our intimate wedding (about 40 people). Kati (private event coordinator) made everything so easy and simple. She's responsive and has wonderful taste. Her floral arrangements were exactly what we wanted. And the catering was AMAZING. People are still talking about the delicious food at our wedding! Oh, and have I mentioned the wine??!? They are all impeccable from the chardonnay to the rose and of course to the pinot noir. Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to them!

We just had our wedding at Ponzi Vineyards Labor weekend 2013. The venue was exactly as we hoped. It is an intimate venue with the vines right nearby. It makes for a unique vineyard wedding.

We worked with Kati, Director of Hospitality and Events, and she was fantastic. Very responsive to our email and communications. As one can expect we had tons of questions about the venue and the day and she was a great help in getting them answered. We had a ton of small little requests that she was about to help us get filled.

This was a destination wedding so we relied upon her recommendations for a majority of the vendors and we loved them all.

Food was fantastic. The beef and pork tenderloins were the best I have had at a wedding. Tons of flavor and cooked perfectly.

The wine was very important to us, and Ponzi has great wine with a good amount of variety to choose from. The whites were enjoyed but the big winner was the rose. A great drink to have throughout the night.

Overall we loved the wedding at Ponzi and had an amazing experience. Would highly recommend To anyone looking for a vineyard wedding with great food and wine.

I am reviewing the Ponzi Historic Estate not the Ponzi Winery, which are only 7 miles apart but get mixed up all the time. The winery is a larger/newer facility which is gorgeous and has amazing west facing view of the valley. Better for larger weddings. The Historic Estate is a smaller winery in the old Ponzi home. Its more secluded and set in a more wooded area. Better for smaller weddings.

We had our wedding at the estate. Kati is the event manager and is exceptional! She handled our small wedding of 30 like it was a piece of cake. The venue was perfect for our tiny party and we loved everything about the day! When I arrived and saw everything set up I started to cry at how beautiful everything looked.

The estate had everything we needed so we didn't have to rent any additional furniture or equipment. Originally we planned on an outdoor reception on the lawn but we had to move indoors due to rain. I was distraught over that because my heart was set on the lawn reception, but the indoor wedding turned out to be so lovely and more intimate.

Everyone loved the food and decor. Our guests had such a nice time! We love to go back and have a wine tasting every once in a while. The estate is a beautiful, sweet and intimate venue!

This was a great venue. Very responsive, helpful and beautiful venue. It made our day very memorable. Kati was GREAT. If you're looking for a place that can do it all, this is it. We didn't have to worry about a thing.

In terms of quality, my wedding was perfection. Kati delivered an absolutely stunning event. She made sure the venue was set up and decorated exactly as I wanted, she also provided a number of complimentary floral arrangements which were gorgeous. Basically, right when I walked in to the venue on the day of, I was impressed. She also ensured that our food was ahmazing, and I really mean beyond amazing (the vineyard house chef quit shortly before our wedding, but Kati personally secured an amazing chef to take his place). She grabed us a little food to nosh on while we relaxed in our bridal suite before the ceremony. She was just great, great, great! But, towards the end of the night it became clear that something was wrong and Kati became irriatable. She snapped at me. Our guests and even her staff commented on her behavior, too. Then she seemed to go into hiding. We needed to speak to her before leaving, but she never came and met us, despite her staff going to her office and asking her twice. After the wedding I emailed the owners to address the situation and Kati personally contacted me to appologize. It ends up that she and my DJ just didn't mesh and he really offended her. In the end, I feel very mixed about my experience at Ponzi Vineyards. I absolutely loved my wedding, and my husband and I planned on making a tradition of going back for every anniversary, but after the treatment we received from both Kati and the Ponzis, I can't say I'll recommned the venue, though I doubt this is a situation that occurs regularly. My gut tells me that Kati is a good person, that she deeply cares about her brides, but for some reason my DJ just threw her into a tailspin. It's just unfortunate that it ended up affected us.
