  Absolutely loved my wedding flowers!

  So grateful I chose Poppyhill flowers for my wedding. Laura and her team made everything I dreamed for the flowers on my wedding day come to life. From my bouquet to the ceremony to the reception flowers everything was perfect. Laura was so accommodating with the locations to drop off the flowers, repurposing flowers from the ceremony, personalizing my bouquet with lace from my grandma’s wedding dress, and working with me to make everything exactly how I wanted. I really trusted them to do what they thought looked best and they did not disappoint. Laura was so nice to work with and so incredibly talented. I’m so grateful Poppyhill Flowers were part of my wedding team!

  Laura curated and crafted my dream wedding...

  I can't believe that I already haven't written a review for Laura and PoppyHill Flowers. I'm so embarrassed. There's a big story behind this one, so here it goes. My wedding coordinator referred me to Laura and I have to say, I can't imagine a kinder human being to help bring my floral vision to life. From our first email to chatting over coffee, we instantly clicked. Laura helped to create the inspiration for my entire wedding: southern chic. She never price gouged or tried to oversell anything. She helped to keep my sophisticated taste for magnolias, garlands and brass goblets while staying within my budget. Laura is not only a very talented and detailed-oriented florist, but more importantly, a support system. A confidant and friend. I trust her with anything.
  
  Here's where I really knew Laura was THE ONE...
  
  My husband Ryan and I were married on November 17, 2018 and the weekend before our wedding we were forced to find a new location due to the Malibu fires. Laura literally moved my entire vision from our original venue to our new location at the wonderful Maravilla Gardens in just 3 days. She worked closely with my other vendors and my coordinator to assure that the day was perfect. Last minute, we had to add a ceremony arch and small touches to new spaces and without question, Laura and her team made it all happen. I have tears in my eyes writing this because what Laura offered was more than just a service-- it was moments and memories of a day I will never forget. Not a single detail was sacrificed during the relocation. The entire PoppyHill Flowers team was generous with their time, energy and resources. It was even better than I had originally imagined. Family, friends, and wedding guests still sing praises of Laura's centerpieces and florals. They honestly made all the difference. The venue didn't matter; Laura's flowers were all we needed.
  
  We already loved Laura so much before all this happened, but now, I can't imagine my wedding day without her. Also, I am so grateful that we still stay in touch. The Forkels love you, Laura! XO

  Flowers are Laura's love language!

  I'm an artist, so getting the colors right for our wedding was super important. I met Laura for our consultation with a handful of colored fabric swatches, and tried as best I could to communicate what I wanted. I appreciated that Laura was honest about what types of blooms would be in season during our wedding. I asked for an asymmetrical bouquet with a variety of texture and shapes and a loose, wildflower/garden feel. The bouquets she created were stunning, and perfectly captured the aesthetic I was aiming for. The palette looked great with the shade of my dress and my bridesmaids' outfits. I just wish I had more time to appreciate my florals because your wedding day goes by SO fast! Thankfully we had amazing photographers who got great shots of them, and every time I look at the photos it makes me so happy. Laura's love language is flowers and she pours her heart and soul into her work. She is an incredible artist and it was a joy to have her as part of our day.

  Laura at PoppyHill Flowers came highly recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, and we were so SO smart to choose her to do the flowers for my daughter's wedding! As Molly lives out of state, I was doing a lot of the planning on this end. My initial meeting with Laura was wonderful-- I could feel her warm nature and was impressed with her ideas and artistry. She completely understood the look my daughter wanted, and she was very flexible and honest -- working within our budget all the way. She welcomed us to her home studio so my daughter could meet her and fine tune the plans. No florist could have done a better job! The flowers were probably my favorite part of our gorgeous wedding-- they were beautiful and perfect in every way. Molly had wanted an arch, and Laura had one especially made which was just adorable. Thank you so much, Laura and your PoppyHill team-- you all did an outstanding, beautiful job!
