  I had the good fortune of working with Susan at a recent wedding in NYC. As a wedding officiant, I work with many planners and found Susan to be a consummate professional: personable, vigilant, communicative, AND she wore flat shoes. As odd as this may sound, I find the best planners wear flats allowing them to easily buzz about the room almost invisibly as they attend to every detail. Not only was she on top of all the minutiae on the day of, she also contacted me a few days before to review the ceremony outline... THAT, too, was a pleasant surprise. The short story: Susan's efforts and special talents really put the sparkle in that wonderful event!

  We recently were married in Brooklyn (2015) and we were so fortunate that a friend recommended we reach out to Susan. Susan’s company, Pops & Giggles, acted as our day of coordinator and in all of the decisions we made for that day, hiring them was the easiest. Susan and her team gave us the peace of mind to relax and enjoy the day while they dealt with the unrelenting onslaught of vendor issues and last minute decisions. Susan was our quarterback, coordinating the delicate dance between the venue, caterer, band, officiant, photographer, etc. Not only was she everywhere she needed to be, she made it look effortless. She checked in with us a handful of times to ask how we were doing and if we needed anything (never to ask anything of us) and she slipped out quietly once dinner was served so as not to bother us once the reception was underway.
  
  In the months leading up to the wedding, Susan took the time to get to know us and to understand our vision. She visited the venue with us a couple of months beforehand to familiarize herself with it and meet the onsite staff. About a month before the wedding, she took over our vendor communication, helping to confirm timing and making sure that they all knew who she was and that they had her number so they knew who to contact in case of anything going awry.
  
  We can’t recommend their services enough.

  We utilized Pops & Giggles for our floral arrangements for our wedding in October 2014. We worked with Susan and could not have been more thrilled with the outcome. Our wedding had a lot of DIY elements, the flowers included. We purchased our flowers wholesale and I (very) foolishly thought that I could whip up the bouquets, boutonnieres, arrangements, and centerpieces on my own. We absolutely could not have managed this aspect of our wedding without Susan. Flowers were a very big part of our wedding vision and Susan exceeded all of our expectations. Susan and I spoke about an overall vision and look we wanted to achieve for the wedding and Susan executed it beautifully. Not only did she do a fabulous job with our flowers, but Susan also constantly offered to go above and beyond and assist with whatever aspect of our wedding she could. She always conducted herself in a professional manner and was a complete pleasure to work with. You can tell that she truly cares about the events and the couples she works with. We cannot recommend Pops & Giggles highly enough!

  Susan was so critical to pulling off an amazing bridal shower and bachelorette party. Having never been to Chicago and planning a destination celebration, I was so concerned about making sure we were going to the right spots and staying in a convenient area. Susan short-listed locations for the welcome dinner, brunch, celebration dinner, after-dinner hot spots and our hotels. The bride couldn't have been more thrilled with her perfectly orchestrated weekend!

  I was the officiant at the wedding that Susan photographed. She was never in the way when capturing a moment. With blessing from the couple, she was very timely in sharing the pictures with me.

She always seemed to be several steps ahead of me, knowing exactly when to make decisions on her own or bring a list of options to me. She is very easy to get along with, and had no problems coordinating a complicated event with all my bridesmaids and family members (we had several performers and cultural ceremonies at my wedding, some of which were very difficult to deal with).
  
  When I was interviewing planners, my method was to picture each one as a colleague and think about what it would be like to work with them everyday. Susan was such a sweetheart, I had no problem making the decision. Don't be fooled, though, she was a shark when it came to negotiating the best rates for me. I would easily hire her again, especially given the value she provides.

She is super energetic, and gave me realistic options/suggestions I could actually work with along the way. I had about a million and half questions on spacing, logistics and how everything would fit and she patiently worked with me and drew everything out until I was comfortable! She really knew her stuff about spaces and capacity options and was a true partner in creating my dream wedding. When it came to the big day, she showed up calm, cool and collected and had answers for me before I even asked. Everything went seamlessly, except a driver getting lost but she quickly thought on her feet and made up a dummy-proof plan that worked perfectly.
  
  Susan also really cared about us as a couple and created a gorgeous event that really spoke to my and my husband's personalities. She also saved us a ton of money by knowing what to ask and how to negotiate!!!!

  Susan was our month-of wedding coordinator and did a great job. In the months leading up to the event, she was helpful when I asked questions about vendors, and we had a run of show conversation that helped me plan the wedding even better. She was responsive to my emails and helpful in following-up with our vendors on timing and expectations. I'd be happy to recommend her to a friend.
