  The perfect wedding!

  I would highly, highly recommend the Proximity Hotel as a wedding venue. We held both our ceremony and reception there and each space was stunning! Everyone on their staff was an absolute pleasure and the service was unparalleled throughout the entire process, which made everything so much easier and less stressful. They were very patient with us as we made decisions, especially their sales manager, Sarah, and their in-house florist, Tom. And, the food was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much, Proximity Hotel!

  Beautiful Venue - Amazing Staff and Experience!

  Sarah Terrell at The Proximity Hotel was extremely easy to work with! I love how she was just as excited about helping us plan our wedding as we were! This venue spoke to my heart and I knew I had to have my wedding here and I'm so happy I did. I had my DREAM WEDDING thanks to my amazing vendors including The Proximity Hotel! The entire staff was very accommodating and welcoming to us and our guests!

  Easy & Elegant

  I had worked in the events department of the Proximity before and knew that I would be in good hands when it came time to plan my wedding. Planning a wedding in a different state can be complicated but luckily the Proximity and their staff take care of SO MUCH! I worked mostly with Sarah and she was incredibly communicative and supportive. Working with her was a great experience. The hotel is gorgeous on its own and we used very minimal decorations. Everything ran smoothly and I received a lot of compliments from my guests on how beautiful the space was and how delicious the food was. The Proximity really does take care of so much and it takes a lot of stress off of busy couples.

  The staff at Proximity made our day a fantastic one. This venue is not only beautiful and environmentally friendly, it is efficient, easy, and fun! There was no stress at all during the planning or on the day of.   This venue provided everything that we needed all in one place. The staff here is so accommodating and helpful. Everyone was the very professional. The experience here was top notch and they made sure we had everything we wanted and needed and more for our special day.

  My husband and I held our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and morning-after breakfast at the Proximity Hotel. Our guests could not stop raving about the beautiful location, phenomenal food, and convenient location of staying overnight at the Proximity. Lauren did an excellent job assisting us with planning our events from beginning to end. She was highly professional and very responsive to any of our questions, thoughts, as well as accommodating for our in-person meetings. Barry was our event manager for the day of the wedding and did an amazing job making the entire evening flow smoothly and making sure all the little details fell into place.
  Having our wedding at the Proximity helped to decrease our stress of depending on the weather for a perfect ceremony, as all the event spaces were indoors although filled with light. Fortunately, we had nice weather for our wedding, so guests were able to venture outside to the gardens and patios when it cooled down at night. It was also such a stress reliever to have the caterer and florist through the venue. As I mentioned before, the food was AMAZING and there were so many options to choose from. The house florist, Brenda, was also phenomenal for designing arrangements, accent pieces, and lighting décor to make my vision come to life at such a reasonable cost.

  As father of the Bride I was extremely happy we selected the Proximity Hotel as the venue for our wedding event. The social lobby was transformed into a spectacular ceremony site which exceeded our expectations. Jacob Bennett and his staff helped bring our vision to life and helped us through every step of getting to this special day with professionalism and attention to details. The reception was held in the Weaver Room and the entire staff there were amazing as they went above and beyond to make sure our families and guests were well taken care of. The dinner was elegant and absolutely delicious, the staff incredibly attentive. The hotel is just magnificent in its eco friendly, modern, chic layout. The rooms for our guests were fantastic and the decor is gorgeous. The Proximity handled all aspects of the wedding in their outstanding package. Everything was stunning from the space set ups to the linens, candles, flowers, and food. They work well with any vendors and planners in a professional manner. Everything about this wedding was perfect to every detail and we couldn't be more happy. This team was on point and extremely efficient, they know exactly what they are doing. The Proximity Hotel as a hotel excels in customer service and their wedding and events planning department does as well. Any idea that you could possibly have, the staff will help you make that happen. You may pay a premium for certain things, but they will help you bring your vision to life. Since so many things are included in your space rental, it makes the planning process very easy, especially when you live out of state and are planning from afar! The Proximity Hotel handles all things from linens, food, flowers, space set up, A/V technical, bar, etc. We worked with Hanna and Jacob for the planning aspects. They were both very helpful in Brenda is the in house florist for the Proximity. Her arrangements and bouquets are STUNNING! Jewel and Adam were our onsite staff during the wedding weekend and they made everything run so smoothly! The Proximity is not the cheapest wedding location in Greensboro, but you will get what you pay for.   We found Proximity over a year in advance for our wedding. It was the first place we looked at and fell in love. We then knew we didn't need to look anymore. Proximity provided so much for our wedding day. I loved the service we got. We were able to work with some amazing people that really helped make our day special.

  Proximity is phenomenal. They conduct business so professionally. I did not have to worry about a single thing. You can relax on your wedding day (and leading up to) and know that the Proximity events team has everything under control. They are so so so great to work with. I wouldn't have had my reception anywhere else!!

  We were so glad we selected the Proximity for our wedding! Everyone we worked with was exceedingly professional and quick to respond to my multitude of questions.
  We had our ceremony in the Social Lobby and our reception in the Weaver Room. I always thought I'd want an outdoor wedding, but I fell in love with both of these spaces, which were FILLED with light- and I was very glad that was the choice I made when it stormed on my wedding day! There's also a terrace off of the Weaver Room, which my guests took full advantage of after the weather let up.
  The fact that I was able to have my catering and floral done through the hotel really simplified my planning process. All of the food was delicious (my husband and I had a hard time narrowing down our choices), and the flowers were exactly what I wanted for a very reasonable price.

  I was more than blown away with the service my family and I received from the staff at the Proximity Hotel. Our hotel contact was always very responsive, and incredibly flexible to all of our request. We didn't have a single concern that was not addressed quickly and efficiently.

  On April 19th, we went to Proximity Hotel as Bride and Groom, and left feeling like Kings and Queens!!!!! LOVE FILLS THE AIR at Proximity Hotel!!! We could not have picked a better place to celebrate true love, and begin our "Happily Ever After"!!!

  The Proximity is the perfect place to have a wedding. You have several choices for rooms and can't go wrong with any of them. We had our ceremony in the social lobby and our reception in the White Oak Room. We also utilized the Revolution Room for our rehearsal dinner. All of our guests stayed in the hotel including us. The staff is very knowledgeable in event planning and will work with you to have the wedding of your dreams.
  
  One of the best things about using the Proximity is it truly is one stop shopping. Your room rental includes candles and house arrangements. Their amazing florist can also design all of your wedding flowers including upgraded centerpieces, bouquets, etc. Print Works Bistro provides all of the catering and there are several different options for menu style and food. Guests raved about the food. They now offer some lighting options as well. The only thing extra you need to provide is the cake.
  
  The staff was more than willing to accommodate my wants for the day, and I think they were about as excited as I was on my wedding day. We did many things that were outside the box including renting a grand piano and bringing in several musicians and they were very helpful and professional in coordinating all the aspects of the day with me.
  
  Your guests will love their hotel stay as the hotel is top notch in every way. I'm so thankful that I chose the Proximity for our venue. I really can't say enough great things.

  Absolutely love this hotel!! The staff, food, venue was amazing. They took care of everything for me! I just told them my thoughts for what I wanted the reception to look like and they made it even more beautiful than I can imagine. The best part is they took care of it all, so I was able to enjoy our day instead of fretting small details!! Would recommend for any event!!

  My Husband and I had the wedding of our dreams. The entire staff was amazing and completely professional. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our day had the special touches , and make the day extra special. When you add the amazing fact that this is a green hotel; that was just the icing on the cake. This is a beautiful venue and anyone that wants a beautiful, elegant, and memorable wedding then I would 100% hands down recommend THE PROXIMITY! OH and Brenda the hotel florist is AMAZING!

  This is the hotel to stay at and they should make more of them to put in cities all over the USA. We booked our wedding reception at this hotel and rooms for our guests, as well as ourselves. EVERY person that stayed at the hotel complimented us on our choice of hotel as it is modern, accessible, has outstanding customer service and a welcoming response to anything you might need, want or simply anticipate needing.
  This is across the board and not just because we booked our wedding with them. They treat everyone like they are the most important guest and go the extra mile. They have cars (London Cabs) that they will use as taxis with minimum charges; they have airport shuttle pick up, which was a huge help for all the out of town guests that were flying in; they have a stunning set up in each room where there are giant windows with great light exposure; they have two sinks in each bathroom with Aveda products and all of it is 100% LEED certified as it is the "greenest" hotel in the USA.
  The restaurant is Print Works Bistro and it services both guests, restaurant goer but it is also the menu for all the wedding food, which ensures that you receive quality meals for all your guests.
  Without any hesitation, I would stay here again and again. I will compare all future hotels to this one for service and standards. My husband and I (along with 30 of our friends that stayed there for our wedding), travel for a living with an entertainment company and live in hotels on a very regular basis. This is one we would choose to stay in for both vacation and business.
  Book it and you will have an amazing time guaranteed!

  I loved having my wedding at the Proximity Hotel. Amanda, the wedding coordinator, was wonderful to work with. She was able answer any question I had and help me to envision how the day would be. The day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly and the staff made sure that my husband and myself had no worries! It was a picture perfect day thanks to Proximity Hotel!
