Phenomenal videographer
One word. Phenomenal. If you are in the fence about doing a wedding video - just do it!! Sammy was fantastic start to finish! We received many compliments from our guests on how professional Sammy and his brother were during the event. Watching back our feature documentary there were parts that I don’t even remember being filmed, but they were the perfect moments. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!! Great communication, the videos were stunning and very reasonably priced. 💜One word. Phenomenal. If you are in the fence about doing a wedding video - just do it!! From a wedding planner - hire purple mango films!
I'm a wedding planner and have had the pleasure of working with Sunny & Sammy of Purple Mango Films several times. Let me tell you... they ARE AMAZING! Incredibly professional on the wedding day, capturing everything you could possibly want to memorialize the day. The films they produce are so heartfelt and so well done. They have top of the line equipment and use it well. Communication is Grade A. They show up early every time to scout the area/venue. They are organized, timely, prepared, and creative. Honestly, my fave videographer team! Don't pass up on PMF if they're available!I'm a wedding planner and have had the pleasure of working with Sunny & Sammy of Purple Mango Films several times. Would highly recommend to Anyone and Everyone
From the first time we spoke to them through today, Sammy and Sunny have been nothing short of spectacular. They’re incredibly organized, they know what they need from you and don’t bug you with anything unnecessary, and they’re true pros. The working relationship they had with our photographer was amazing. They helped her get her shots, then made sure they were able to get theirs without missing anything. My wife and I were on the fence about even using a videographer due to all of the other wedding costs adding up, but not only would we have regretted it but we never would have met these two great people. We can’t say enough about the work they did and we have 0 critiques or complaints. Best videographers ever!
Believe me when I say this, you need a videographer for your wedding! Everyone’s right when they say your wedding day goes by fast. I was planning my wedding out of state but Sammy was responsive and answered all the questions I had leading up to the day. Working with Purple Mango Films, you get an awesome team who's professional and punctual. They were able to naturally capture moments without being in your face with cameras and bright lights. So soon after the wedding, we received our social media teaser and highlight reel that were so fun to watch. The videos are on YouTube, making it easy to share. They also sent us a hard drive with all the raw footage and completed videos. I highly recommend working with Purple Mango Films to capture your special day!Believe me when I say this, you need a videographer for your wedding! Exceeded Expectations
A videographer was not in my original budget or plan, but I changed my mind two months before the wedding and Sammy was very helpful and responsive from the start. Sammy and Sunny were on time, professional, worked well with our photographer, and gave the deliverables in a timely fashion. We got the 1 minute teaser a few days later, the 6 minute video a week after that, and the full documentary edit about a month later. All on YouTube ready to share and even a hardrive of the raw files. All of which we will cherish for the years to come. It’s definitely worth it! Great memories for great value!
Sammy was very professional and helped capture our wedding day which consisted of two ceremonies and a reception. He was very flexible with such a hectic schedule and was able to capture really great footage. We have all the videos on youtube for easy sharing as well as a hard drive. We loved working with Purple Mango Films!
We’re so glad that we booked Purple Mango Films for our wedding videography! From the moment we jumped on our initial call with Sammy, we knew he was the perfect fit for us. It was evident that he was extremely experienced, professional, and kind.
Sammy and his assistant were such a joy to work with. They captured our day in the most thoughtful, creative, and beautiful way. Sammy was extremely responsive and communicative leading up to the wedding day. He really took the time to ask us all the right questions, gather all the important details about our wedding, and understand what we truly wanted.
Sammy and his assistant were punctual, polite, and professional. Also, they worked effortlessly and efficiently with our other vendors. They really went above and beyond to make sure they captured all the important moments and helped make our day special.
We really loved everything that came with the package they offer. We also really loved the fact that we could choose the music for the videos (we are big music junkies, so this was a huge plus!) We were really surprised at how quickly he finished our videos and delivered them to us.
Our whole experience with Purple Mango was seamless, joyful, and overall awesome. We can’t recommend them enough! Every time we watch our videos we are overjoyed and emotional! Couldn’t Be Happier!
We couldn’t be happier with Purple Mango! Sammy was such delight. Super professional and creative. We were originally not planning to have video for our wedding and at the very last minute changed our minds. I am so glad that we did! Sammy was super quick to respond and made us feel comfortable in our decision. He was even quick to get us our teaser video, which was amazing! Amazing experience with Purple Mango Films - Highly Recommend
Sammy and his team at Purple Mango Films were absolutely incredible. They went above and beyond to capture our wedding day. During the initial consultation Sammy showed his professionalism and expertise of the wedding industry and shared some great insights and tips. I was naive at the amount of work that goes into delivery a great experience, but Sammy made me feel comfortable understanding the nuances of it all without making me feel ignorant.
During the wedding his team made sure that everything ran smoothly. They made us feel comfortable and captured everything without being intrusive. One thing I learned is that you will speak to your photographer and videographer the most on your wedding day even more than your friends and relatives so picking the right vendors is a must.
They did everything possible the day of the wedding but I was not ready for what was to come, the wedding video! They made us look like celebrities!
Lastly, the price was something that we were nervous about, but they are very affordable. I can’t say enough great things of Purple Mango Films and would definitely recommend them for your wedding videographers.Sammy and his team at Purple Mango Films were absolutely incredible. Best experience we could have hoped for!! You will not regret hiring them!
Where do I even begin….I can’t recommend using Purple Mango enough. To provide some context, my wife and I weren’t going to get a videographer because most of them are extremely expensive. On top of that, my wife and I have heard many mixed reviews from our friends that have used them.
However, we heard about Purple Mango through some friends and decided to speak with the owner, Sammy. We found out Sammy had worked many weddings even though his company was new. He offered an incredibly reasonable price for capturing our special day. While my wife and I were hesitant to get a videographer, our hesitancy was put to rest on the day of our event. So, enough backstory, onto the pros and cons:
Pros:
Incredibly professional – we hired a separate photographer due to COVID circumstances ruining our original plans, Sammy worked effortlessly with our photographer, whom he had never met, to capture our day while not impeding on any pictures that were being taken. He was so professional with all of our other vendors, working seamlessly with them so that we didn’t have to take any time out of our day to accommodate vendor problems.
Easy to work with – we didn’t really have anything planned or in mind for what we wanted. Sammy would direct us when he wanted to capture something (which later turned out amazing), which I personally appreciated because I am absolutely not photogenic at all. We were so burnt out with all our other decision-making for the event that it was so helpful to have someone we trusted to tell us what we needed to do to create an amazing end product.
Experienced – It was clear Sammy knew what he was doing. We had noticed some videographers at past events can be overbearing and block guests’ views trying to capture the events as they unfold, but that was not the case with Purple Mango. On top of that, my wife and I have different cultures (she is Indian and I am white) and Sammy was able to handle the different events with ease.
Amazing work – I never thought I’d want to see so much of myself in high definition, but I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of video is unbelievable. You’re definitely getting an amazing product. Not only do you get all of the footage, but Sammy also puts together a great, short (~3 minute) highlight video that you can use to share with friends and family. It is pretty remarkable. Sammy and his team worked efficiently and put so much thought into making the videos memorable for us – from the music choice, to the coloring and small details that we never would have noticed. We immediately sent our highlight video out to all of our close friends and family and received countless messages in awe of how perfectly it captured the emotions and sentiment of the day for us. As people who never quite understood the incredibly powerful meaning that can come from a wedding video, Purple Mango changed our minds for the better in a way we never thought possible.
