Purpoodock Club was so helpful when we ended up in a bind from another venue. Emily was so helpful and always quick to respond. The venue is absolutely gorgeous! We had such a great wedding day thanks to all the people who work here!

This was truly an amazing experience! From the venue to the staff everything was perfect. Emily Cole and her staff went above and beyond not only for the bride and groom, but for all of their guests as well. The amount of compliments I received from the guests about Emily and the staff was incredible. Emily made this whole experience very easy and comfortable. I would highly recommend Purpoodock as a wedding venue!

Purpoodock Club is the best wedding venue- the staff is outstanding, the food is delicious, the club, the course and the views are beautiful, and the venue cost is reasonable. Emily Cole, the event coordinator, is incredible. She was responsive, organized and so helpful the entire time from when we booked the venue right up to our wedding day.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Purpoodock Club on October 5, 2019 and it was one of the best decisions we made. The event coordinator, Emily Cole, was so responsive and accommodating from beginning to end. I was able to be so present and relaxed on the day of, knowing she would take care of anything that needed to be done. I trusted her to set up tables and decorations in the space with little to no guidelines and she did an amazing job. We loved having the outdoor deck in addition to the indoor space, especially with the gorgeous fall weather on our day! Our guests raved about the food, drinks and service. We also hired Emily to make a welcome sign and seating chart and they were perfect. We can't say enough and would recommend the Purpoodock to anyone looking for an elegant, but affordable venue with an incredible event coordinator!

My husband and I were married at the Purpoodock Club and it was one of the best decisions of our wedding. Emily, the event coordinator was responsive from beginning to end! We received so many compliments on our menu- the chef at Purpoodock Club is so accommodating and willing to make any adjustment as needed. The Purpoodock Club is very well taken care of and is such a beautiful location for a wedding!

We had our September wedding and rehearsal dinner at Purpoodock, and worked with Emily Cole, their events coordinator throughout the planning process for both. The venue is gorgeous and versatile, and Emily was amazing to work with! She was always prompt and thorough, and when I had ordered WAY too many flowers, she did such a beautiful job scattering them throughout the space and really making it beautiful. My (now!) husband and I agree that working with her was a highlight of the whole process, as everything came together so seamlessly, and exactly the way we wanted it. Purpoodock itself is beautiful, with a lot of options for portraits, and the deck was perfect for an intimate, sunny ceremony. Also: their food is amazing, and friends raved about it. We can't say enough good about our experience, and will recommend it to everyone!

We were absolutely blown away by our beautiful wedding at purpoodock. Emily the coordinator was wonderful to work with. She helped us every step of the way and is extremely professional. She did an excellent job decorating both our ceremony and reception space. She was aware of every detail and helped out any way she could (including picking sticks out of my dress after the first look haha).

The food at purpoodock was delicious - our guests were raving about it the whole night! They were also able to accommodate gluten free dishes. Emily had a plate of apps brought to our bridal room so I could eat while they were doing my bustle.

We strongly recommend purpoodock ... they were worth every penny!

We just got married here July 7. Everything was amazing!! The food was great... the deck was great to get married on and play games during happy hour. So many places to take beautiful photos. Emily the coordinator was the best! She was always there when I had a question and made the day go smoothly. Everything started on time! Definitely recommend this venue to any bride!!!

Emily was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was invested in our planning from the start and a true calming influence as we planned from a distance. Thanks to her, our wedding day was exactly as we had envisioned! Our guests and families also commented on how accommodating and friendly she was! The entire staff was wonderful. The food was INCREDIBLE - even better than we expected after our tasting. The venue was perfect for our summer wedding - bright, simple and elegant. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

Our experience at Purpoodock Club was 5 Star in every way possible. We arranged a lot of the finer details over the phone/facetime/email as both of us were out of the State while trying to plan (in my case - not even living in the country yet). Emily, the event co-ordinator was ALWAYS super accommodating and helpful! We changed the number of guests and the types of appetisers we wanted a number of times, nothing ever seemed too much trouble she was really wonderful! When it came to the wedding day and the days leading up to it - the staff were so attentive and set everything up exactly as we'd envisioned. In terms of value for money - we really couldn't have asked for more! It was affordable but also classy and elegant. Thank you so much for everything Emily & Team at Purpoodock! I HIGHLY recommend the venue.

My wife and I recently had our wedding at the Purpoodock Club in Cape Elizabeth and it was the most magical day of our lives. The ceremony was on a very unique deck overlooking several areas of the golf course. The reception was right inside the deck - but we could use the deck as well! They were very professional and extremely helpful with everything. Our wedding planner - Heather - was amazing. She helped us with every single detail. Our wedding was actually supposed to be held at a venue in Old Orchard Beach. THEN that venue suddenly closed! So you can imagine my stress in trying to find a new venue! Luckily we contacted Heather and she worked with us to get our date secured there (luckily that had it available!) and she helped us through everything knowing that we had already had a stressful start to wedding planning! The day itself was perfect. The room was decorated amazingly, the tables were beautiful, and the experience was beyond words! I want to thank Heather and everyone at the Purpoodock for helping us make our wedding day the best day ever!!!

My husband and I had both our ceremony and reception at Purpoodock Club and it was the best decision we made for our wedding day! Luckily we were graced with beautiful fall weather so we were able to have our ceremony outside on the deck. From our first meeting with Heather, the event coordinator, to our wedding day, everything was perfect. I must have emailed Heather dozens and dozens of times, and she way always so quick to respond and help. She made sure every single detail was taken care of and never missed a thing. I didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day - her and the entire staff had everything organized perfectly. Heather coordinated with all of our vendors directly to ensure the day ran smoothly. She set up all of our decor, flowers, etc for the day and brought us food and drinks to enjoy before we went into our reception. She put so much thought into everything and made sure we were completely enjoying our day. The food was amazing, the bartender had wonderful customer service and made delicious drinks, and the staff was always around to help and make sure everything was running on time. Our guests are still talking about the beautiful venue, and how delicious the food was. The day was simply perfect. Purpoodock Club has incredibly fair prices for the quality and services they offer, fantastic catering, and amazing staff. We were so lucky to have found this venue and I would highly highly recommend!

I used Purpoodock Club as my reception venue and they were wonderful! Heather and Robin made sure my reception went off without a hitch. They set up everything beautifully so we didn't have to worry about doing it the day before the wedding. The banquet room was the perfect size and nicely renovated. The food was good and they had great choices. Heather was very flexible when it came to last minute changes. Very pleased with their service!

From start to finish Robin and Heather guided us through the venue process which was much more than we had anticipated. Had it not been for their professionalism and positive feed back, we would have been leaving out critical details for our ceremony and reception. Their knowledge of the wedding planning process guided us from start to finish. The food was extremely tasteful and the additional options completed the meal. The pricing for the venue was very competitive with other venues in the Southern Maine area. Robin's directions during our ceremony were perfectly timed for us to pull of the perfect wedding! I would highly recommend Purpoodock Club for any function.

Emily was amazing to work with and super helpful! She made the whole wedding process run very smoothly and was there to help with everything on the wedding day. Would highly recommend Purpoodock for your wedding venue for reception and ceremony!

The newly renovated function hall was beautiful! The staff was wonderful! We were able to set up the friday night at 2pm for a saturday evening wedding. The number of tables and set up of cake and gift tables were not correct yet the staff jumped to fix it. They let us cut fresh flowers (and generally make a mess!) on one of their tables while we set up each centerpiece. The food was not the best quality but was equivalent to what we paid for and still very good. Service the day of was perfect!! I did not know of anything that went wrong or was not ideal. None of the hidden fees that we found with other reception halls (cake cutting, toasts, packing the top layer of the cake) were charged here. The only problem of the night was as we were leaving for the night, the club manager (obviously a golf club manager and not an event manager) flagged my father down with the bill and demanded to know when it would be paid in full. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLUB!!

The Purpoodock Club is a beautiful venue. The food was amazing and the staff is well trained and professional. Not one thing went wrong on the day of our wedding. Emily and the crew did a fantastic job.
