When I was younger, I had a terrible experience with a photographer who did a very poor job of editing my photos. This did a number on my confidence and I had not been professionally photographed since. I was very nervous for my engagement shoot because I wanted so badly to love my photos and feel good about how they came out.
LET ME TELL YOU. Qian delivered.
My fiancé and I felt so comfortable with her guiding us during our shoot. We had such a fun time and our photos are gorgeous. I felt so beautiful after seeing these photos. We loved them so much we decided to hire her for our wedding photography as well. I wouldn't trust anyone else for my wedding photos.Q Hegarty Photography's reply:

Qian was beyond amazing to work with! I was planning a NH wedding from NC and photography was one thing I never had to worry about. Qian was detail oriented, so friendly, very professional, made us feel at ease during the planning process and during photos on our wedding day. You would have thought we had known her for years, not only officially met in person the day of our wedding, by how well she blended in with our families. Communication was easy and efficient before and during our event. Qian has an amazing eye for detail and we could not be happier with our photos, just beautiful. I was also so glad she agreed to do a small boudoir session on my wedding day - talk about beautiful photos in a lace robe or less looking at my dress! Pure art! Memories that will last forever! Qian - and our florist - was the best vendor decision we made. You will not be disappointed if you book with Qian!!!! -

Qian did awesome!
Qian Hegarty was our wedding photographer, provided by Classic Photographers. I would not ever use Classic Photographers again, though Qian was amazing. She was very responsive to what we were looking for with the photos and surely delivered. We even asked her to stay a few extra minutes to capture an event and she did so without hesitation! -

Veronica Sent on 10/12/2017We met Qian last summer for our baby’s newborn shoot, then did our holiday pictures with her and most recently - our girl's cake smash shoot! I have to say, we are IN LOVE with Qian’s photography and her warm and caring personality. Having already done 3 shoots with her, we are now lifetime clients!!
Here’s my review of the newborn shoot: Qian was very patient with my baby as she refused to sleep :( She gently rocked her for until she finally slept for 5 minutes. Qian was able to use the five minutes to get beautiful shots. Then it was back to rocking and shushing. The only thing I wish I had done differently giving my baby a bottle of formula before the shoot and taking another bottle with me (this is of course NOT Qian’s fault at all). I breastfed my baby instead. Breastfeeding takes much longer than bottle feeding and photo-shoot time is so precious. So, my advice to new moms, make sure to bottle feed right before the shoot and have another bottle for during the shoot. If you’re worried about your milk supply, take your breast pump with you and sit back, relax and pump while Qian is doing her magic.
Another advice I want to give to new mothers is this, take your make up with you. Most likely, you will not have time to do makeup before the shoot. But you CAN do it during the shoot while Qian lovingly working with your baby. I could have easily done my make up there for ten minutes. I would have looked better in the pictures.
And here’s my review of the holiday shoot. Qian gave me some good advice about outfits and colors. I searched for perfect outfits for two weeks and finally got everything together. The pictures came out PERFECT!!!!!!
Last but not least, my girl's cake smash shoot was so much FUN!!!! Qian kindly did a little shoot of my son too as a bonus. Her whole family was entertaining my kids while Qian was photographing them!.The pictures are AMAZING!!!
Qian has created life long memories for our family. We are forever grateful!!!

She captured so much love in every photo and her creativity truly brought out the most beautiful aspects of our day. She is so personal and so fun we absolutely recommend her to to everyone.
