  Racquel, Star, and the entire R. Kristi staff was excellent. Everyone was professional from the planning stage, all the way to the day of the wedding ceremony. Racquel took charge at rehearsal, patiently helping everyone practice their role in the wedding procession. I watched R. Kristi's team transform the ceremony and reception areas into a beautiful venue. I would highly recommend R.   I participated in a group wedding celebration. It was a great concept and wonderful way to renew our vows. The R.Kristi team exceeded my expectations.

  I really enjoyed photographing the Blissful Grandeur in Washington D.C. As being a social media photographer, I was able to tell a story of this event from every aspect of the wedding, the photographers, caterers, musicians, guests etc. It was really impressive to see all of these people come together to put off an amazing wedding/vow renewal for three couples! I think this event was a phenomenal idea and I believe more of these should be happening! You get to celebrate with close family/friends and complete strangers at the same time which was amazing to watch everyone interact.

  This was a private surprise celebration on a very special day. Racquel was very specific with the details, likes and dislikes; there was a questionnaire and the result was one of the most beautiful and romantic evenings I have ever experienced. Time and money well spent!!

  It was a great joy to work with RKMH,
  I originally hired them for day of coordination, but when it became evident that my needs were greater they jumped in and provided me with all of the resources I needed to get the wedding on track. They were kind, professional and responsive. Their rates are fare and reasonable.
  
  There were a lot of wedding related details that I was unsure of that they were able to help me decide on. I had a lot of ideas but wasn't sure about how to execute them, Racquel (owner of RKMH) was able to talk to me about what I wanted and re-direct me to something similar if she thought one of my ideas wouldn't work out well.
  
  I'd also like to mention that Racquel is very creative and has a good eye for decor, floor plans and set up. I didn't draw out exactly what I wanted where on the tables, but Racquel was able to take the items I provided her with and create lovely bouquets, and a very visually appealing tablescape. She also made my bouquets (which were brooch bouquets) and took over other last minute details that I had not planned out properly. My only regret is that I was a budget bride (budget was less than 10k) and I couldn't afford to hire RKMH for full service. I imagine I really would have had the wedding of my dreams if they had been involved from the start. I honestly don't have any complaints, they took what I had (which was very little I must say) and were able to create something beautiful for our special day!

  RKristi is a wonderfully creative event planning company. They designed and executed a beautiful Parisian themed bridal shower for me. I was floored by the level of creativity. The venue space was completely transformed and the food, decor, and lighting were phenomenal.   RKristi Modern Hospitality planned my wedding in August 2012. They did an amazing job and worked well with my budget. I was amazed at how much I got and how beautiful and classy my event turned out to be considering my small budget. Racquel was my wedding planner and did all possible to make my day the day of my dreams. All of her staff were completely professional and catered to our every need and the needs of our guests. I was approached numerous times during and since my wedding, with people wanting to know who planned my wedding because it was spectacular. Racquel was my own personal David Tutera! I would and already have recommended her services to friends, family, coworkers etc. I will definitely be hiring her again for my next event.

  I have used RKristi for several events. The last event she planned for me was my sister-in-law’s bridal shower. I wanted something elegant, beautiful, and feminine (and to look good in front on my mother-in law). She delivered on all I wanted and more. She was able to take my jumbled up thoughts and Pinterest obsessions and make a memorable event for the whole family, but especially the bride.
  
  She transformed my loft into a black, white, and pink French boudoir. I had Eiffel Towers, dress forms, and gorgeous mirrors. My walls were draped in chiffon with soft pink lighting. And….she indulged my obsession with a balloon wall (thank you Pinterest)! I got not one, but two white balloon walls! She guided my choice to the perfect invitation that immediately set the tone for the party and helped me revise and edit the working until it was perfect.
  
  The best compliment of the night was when I overheard someone say, “I thought this was going to be a regular bridal shower.”
  
  No event that RKristi plans and designs will ever be regular. Expect more than you imagined and bask in the glory of being known for fabulous parties!!!
