  A fantastic experience with Rabbi David!

  Rabbi David Altman did our wedding on Long Island and the experience was fantastic. He was professional, uplifting and funny! Our guests absolutely loved him; in fact one of our non-Jewish guests said she wanted to have a Jewish wedding just so she could have him officiate it! He made everything clear and easy, which was especially welcome considering we were planning everything prior to the wedding from abroad (American bride from Long Island, English groom, both living in the UK). We could not have asked for anything better, and he made everyone feel at ease and included. :)

  A Great Officiant for Modern Times

  Dmitry and I feel extremely happy with our wedding ceremony. As an interfaith couple, we wanted to work with someone who understood that love transcends all. Rabbi Altman struck the right balance of tradition, humor, and romance in his ceremony. I would absolutely recommend his services to any couple who want to honor the past and their future.

  Amazing Ceremony

  Rabbi David Altman is the BEST! He created a very elegant ceremony for us! We had an interfaith marriage and he really took the time to get to know us and work with us to design the ceremony that would be perfect for us! Everyone said the ceremony was beautifully done and the rabbi made it fun and enjoyable for the crowd! I would highly recommend him

  Amazing ceremony with Rabbi David!

  I had my wedding on December 1st, 2019 in Dominican Republic. Rabbi David was amazing in each step of the planning process and at the wedding. He was very accommodating and understanding in terms of the transportation and stay, since it was a destination wedding. Leading up to the wedding, we met several times to speak about the ceremony and what we wanted. He executed everything perfectly. We completely customized the ceremony based off of his suggestions and our requests. Overall, it was simply perfect. All of our guests raved about how beautiful and meaningful the ceremony was. We felt that he really got to know us, and we loved the jokes he threw into the ceremony! It was everything we ever wanted, and we would definitely recommend Rabbi David Altman to anyone looking for an amazing ceremony!

  Amazing Rabbi!

  Rabbi David Altman officiated our wedding earlier this year and did an AMAZING job. Super friendly and personable, very accommodating and very efficient. We couldnt recommend him enough for his excellent services. So very pleased!

  Professional and Humorous. Highly Recommend!

  My wife and I got married in October and Rabbi Altman did an amazing job! He met and worked with us to customize the ceremony exactly to our liking. Most, if not all, suggestion Rabbi Altman made were spot on! He is funny, kind, and professional. He does not push his own agenda against your will. He listens and makes sure to conduct your ceremony with love and care. Our families were very impressed by Rabbi Altman and we'll be sure to recommend to our friends for future engagements.

  Rabbi David Altman was a wonderful officiant for our outdoor Central Park wedding. He performed a lively and humorous ceremony that our family and friends loved. It was cold & snowing to boot. Couldn't recommend him more!

  Rabbi Altman did an amazing interfaith ceremony for my husband and I. He listened to all of our wants and needs and planned accordingly with our Priest. He’s so funny and personable!

  Unprofessional Service

  I take no pleasure in having to share our experience with Rabbi David Altman, but… If you want a Rabbi who shows up unprepared, pronounces your daughter’s first name and new last name incorrectly, doesn’t listen to the bride and groom’s ceremony requests, forgets to wrap them in a tallis, and jumps and dances in front of the couple during glass breaking and THE KISS then Rabbi David Altman is for you. The planners, photographers and videographers were in disbelief. -The couple communicated they did not want a “jokey” service and specifically mentioned not using the “put your foot down” joke, and guess what, the service was very jokey and that specific old lame joke was used. During the formal pictures, the Rabbi needed help finding an email with the couple’s info that was previously sent and was never reviewed. -The couple wanted a “unplugged” ceremony which the Rabbi was to announce prior to the service. Announcing “silence your phones” does not communicate correctly to guests and the bride was met with a barrage of cell phones on her walk down the aisle. -The Rabbi’s wife was milling around the formal pictures, the Ketubah signing and cocktail hour without being introduced or invited. -We called the Rabbi after the wedding, spoke to him for two minutes and he hung up the phone! The bride followed up with an eloquent email and the Rabbi responded he was sorry “if” he pronounced her name wrong and did not mention, apologize or take ownership of any other issues she experienced and certainly didn’t respond empathetically as one would expect a Rabbi. The photo with the Rabbi in front of THE KISS takes the cake. Look elsewhere.
