  Rachel Kendall Events

  Words can't describe how happy we are that we chose to have Rachel as our wedding planner. From the very onset of the process Rachel's experience, organizational skills, wonderful personality, and vision shine through. From start to finish Rachel guided us through every step of the planning process. Her wedding planning templates and approach make it easy to keep track of tasks, stay organized, and ahead of schedule. Outside of these core organizational skills, Rachel also has a knack for artistic vision and design which she used to help us design all of our paper goods and décor. This support was invaluable since we did most of these items as DIY, and her input was critical to making our vision come to life. On our wedding day all of the effort Rachel put into planning our wedding was clear from the start. The day went off without a hitch, and we had multiple guests comment on how ours was one of the most well run weddings they had ever attended. Several members of the wedding party commented on how organized and amazing Rachel was. We can't thank her enough for all she did to help make our vision come to life, and we would STRONGLY recommend her to any couple looking for a wedding planner.

  Caroline + Chris wedding!

  Rachel and here team were absolutely amazing. From the moment we started working with her everything was so seamless. She is extremely organized and detail oriented and that really made our day run so smoothly. As the bride it really gave me the piece of mind that I could truly just focus on myself and my husband on our wedding day and no that everything will be taken care of perfectly behind the scenes. I could not recommend her more for any bride and groom in the future, Thank you Rachel!!!!

  Words cannot describe how amazing it was to have Rachel as our planner. She made organizing all the logistics so easy and was so caring and considerate. I truly believe we wouldn’t have had as amazing of a wedding had she not been there. We even had guests that said they had wished she was their planner when they got married. 10000000/10 would recommend!

  Chestertown Wedding

  Rachel and her team helped us create a magical evening in Chestertown for my daughter's wedding. Planning a wedding in Maryland while living in California is challenging but Rachel provided lists of high quality vendors so that we were able to find the perfect match for our needs.
  Wedding day was seamless because of the prep Rachel and her team did ahead of time; extremely meticulous and thorough.

  Rachel is simply the BEST!

  As a wedding vendor that has worked side by side with Rachel on a wedding day, I can say I was absolutely blown away by her attention to detail, timeliness, and her dedication to making her couple’s wedding day perfect. It is not often I have the pleasure of working with a wedding planner who makes the day flow seamlessly and makes my job easier but now I can say I have! Rachel took a very involved and expansive D.C. wedding and had it running like a well oiled machine! Rachel, you are truly gifted at what you do and your couples are so so lucky to have you! Every couple needs Rachel behind the scenes making their day magic!

  The BEST in the business! 10/10 recommend.

  If you are debating if a planner/design team is a worthwhile wedding expense, stop debating. If you are debating if RKE is the way to go, stop debating. Absolutely worth it! Rachel and her team ensured that our wedding was planned exactly how we wanted, designed exactly how we wanted, and most importantly executed and ran without flaw. We were planning a large city wedding in DC from out of town that had a lot of logistical considerations on top of our own personal preferences, and she spent the time upfront really understanding what we wanted and like any true professional, she told us she understood the assignment and got right to work on our behalf while always making sure to ask us questions along the way. Throughout the process, we had several calls to make sure we were hitting our milestones on time and she guided us through every big decision we needed to make. You can tell she loves this work, and she is obsessed with every detail (which is EXACTLY what you want from a plan team). We had so much trust that the details were covered that it allowed us to focus on all the other stressful things any couple has to think about for their wedding. She handled all vendor coordination which we learned through this process is like herding cats to get the paperwork and forms filled out and completed on time. We really can't say enough great things, but we'll end with YES hire a planner and YES hire Rachel and you will be able to enjoy your perfect wedding and have a blast, like we did!!

  Rachel is truly amazing. I’m not sure what else to say. I am so grateful that we had her on our special day. She gives you 110% from the day you start working with her until your wedding day. It’s extremely impressive how much she can juggle and I don’t know how we would have done it without her. She is so knowledgeable and genuinely wants to make you happy. Not only was Rachel a huge help leading up to the day, but her and her team were so on top of everything the day of the wedding from the decor and making sure everything ran smoothly, to making sure that I was ok when I got a little shaken up. My family was even commenting on how great she was. I couldn’t imagine anyone regretting hiring her. Just do it!

  Made our Wedding Carefree!

  I was impressed from the start with Rachel's honesty because I initially planned to hire a full service wedding planner, but after meeting with Rachel for the first time, she told me honestly, based on having my vendors primarily booked already, I only needed her about two months out. It would have been very easy for her to take more money regardless, but that's just how she is! She was still there for me anytime I had questions, even through a venue cancellation. When she did take over two months before our wedding, I was immediately glad she was on our vendor team. She thinks of everything, so you don't have to and made our day run so smoothly. From logistics, to paperwork to responding to vendor emails, I was grateful for her expertise and help every single day! I couldn't recommend her enough!

  Exceptional Wedding Planner & Team

  Hiring Rachel Kendall Events was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. Rachel knows the wedding industry inside and out and has an incredibly extensive and talented vendor portfolio. Our June 2023 wedding was at our family's private residence, which I thought would make planning significantly more difficult, but Rachel knew exactly what to do every step of the way and was a dream to work with. There were so many moving pieces throughout our year of planning, yet she handled everything seamlessly and made sure we felt prioritized and at ease through it all. Rachel is incredibly professional, responsive, detail-oriented, and fun to work with. I can't thank the RKE team enough for not only making our wedding day absolutely perfect, but for providing such an amazing process leading up to it. There is a reason RKE has so many 5-star reviews–they truly are the best in the business!

  Such an ease

  We used Rachel Kendall events for our anniversary party as a month-of coordinator who helped us through the last 2 months of our planning. Sydnee was such a joy with helping us manage tasks, stay organized, and helped us find those last vendors and details. With a threat of rain on the day, Sydnee managed the vendors on the ground through our back-up plans while we did not have to stress about any of it at all. Would highly recommend.

  The Absolute Best

  My husband and I can easily say that we would not have had a wedding without Rachel. From my initial conversation with Rachel, I knew that she understood what kind of vibe we wanted for our wedding. If you are looking for a wedding planner who will truly take the time to understand you as individuals/a couple and your wedding vision and work tirelessly to implement that vision I cannot recommend Rachel enough.   If given the chance to repeat our dream day, 10/10 I would hire Rachel again! From our initial conversation, where it felt like she truly understood and connected with our vision, to our wedding day where everything ran so perfectly, Rachel's entire process was meticulous and innovative. We hired Rachel for her wedding management package, which very nicely complimented all the designing and planning that we wanted to do ourselves. She was always responsive and communicative when we needed her, and by the time we reached the hand off, we felt we had built a trust and rapport that allowed us to confidently hand over the reins - and she didn't let us down!   I hired Rachel Kendall Events back in the Winter, I knew for sure that I wanted to hire a day-of coordinator. From the very first call with Rachel & Sydnee, I knew I was in good hands. I plan events for a living myself, so I knew what was ahead of me as far as coordinating, setting up, breaking down, etc, Sydnee was in consistent contact with me, she was incredibly organized, always followed through and she kept me organized as well! She helped me navigate the challenges and went out of her way to be places when I couldn't and to take care of issues with vendors. I also enjoyed working with her on a personal level. She is wonderfully positive and always made me feel supported. She was always right there when I looked up on my wedding day and was two steps ahead of everyone else. The team she had with her was amazing as well. I would recommend this team to anyone who wants to be able to enjoy their big day. Thank you, Sydnee!!!

  Hands down best decision we made for our wedding was booking Rachel as our planner. Her organization and attention to detail is unmatched and she is a dream to work with. She helped us so much throughout the planning process articulate our vision. If you want to wake up on your wedding day and know that everything is being taken care of- hire Rachel. Everybody kept saying how the days leading up to the wedding I was so low stress (as a highly anxious person) and so much had to do with my confidence in Rachel and her team. Besides her incredible talent, she is an absolute joy to work with. All the vendors said how much they loved working with her and how impressed with her attention to detail. One of our venue staff said she was the best planner to work with... just another tribute to how amazing she is! Last thing-- she has your back! With so many opinions around your wedding, she really stands in your corner. I absolutely loved working with Rachel. She is truly the best! :)

She started really working with us eight weeks out, and just wow - so many things happen in that last month or so, you don’t even realize how much help you truly need. Rachel does. not. miss. a. beat. Every contract, every dollar, every five minutes of the timeline all gets accounted for. Day of, I truly felt like I had NOTHING to worry about. She is truly talented and her team also exudes her positive energy and leadership style. We received SO many compliments on how seamless the day went. Many guests even asked for her information for their own family weddings coming up. The woman sells herself! She’s simply the best.

They were technically our month-of coordinators, but Rachel worked with us closely over much longer than that to help us stay on top of everything we needed to get done. She and her team stuck with us through multiple COVID reschedules, helped us navigate how to reschedule and keep our vendors and guests in the loop, and helped us find new vendors when not everyone could join us on the new date. Rachel is super organized, professional, kind, patient, and has tons of advice to share based on her experience. Through it all, she helped us stay calm and talked us through everything when we became overwhelmed with all the details. On the day, her team kept everyone on time and everything and everyone in the right place. Because of this team, we were able to enjoy our day without worrying about the details, since we trusted that everything was taken care of. We truly couldn’t have done it without the team, and we highly recommend them!
