Absolute perfection!!

Besides my husband, hiring Rachel was the best decision I made! She was recommended from a friend, and quickly became a friend making my husband and I immediately at ease. She was easy to communicate with throughout planning and made great suggestions to help our day flow exactly as we wanted. She checked in throughout the night making sure we got all the shots we wanted and definitely would have forgot about. Even after the sneak peek pictures I knew I’d be obsessing over every single photo. Her style is absolute perfection. My only regret is not hiring her for longer!

The best wedding photographer I could have ever asked for!

SIMPLY AMAZING! She made my spur of the moment, backyard, COVID wedding all the more special. She made such an effort to take the most genuine photos in so many different areas and also was sure to get photos of ALL family members. the best ever!

I had a good feeling about working with Rachel even before I met her since I had seen the images she captured for a friend of mine and my feeling was not wrong! Rachel was so, so easy to work with, from start to finish; she was always more than happy to answer my 500 questions via email and text and her super laid back personality made myself and my husband feel comfortable and relaxed during both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day! I knew Rachel would bring new life to our venue having never shot there before and I am so happy with the photos she captured from the day. Her style of shooting really makes you feel the emotion of the day on top of the fact that her images are not only stunning but whimsical and fun too. Rachel was super accommodating of our schedule which made planning and logistics a breeze- our wedding day ran smoothly AND on time! The best part is that I walked away from the planning process feeling like I made a new friend because that's just how Rachel's personality is- she's friendly and fun and funny and I'm so happy she was able to help us remember our special day for the rest of our lives!

Words cannot describe how happy we were with Rachel as our wedding photographer. From our first meeting, to our engagement shoot, to the wedding, and every interaction in between, Rachel was simply amazing. Choosing a photographer was one of the most important decisions for us, and I really can't imagine having anyone other than Rachel for the job. When it came to our wedding day, it felt like she was another close friend. All of the photos she took are incredible, and we have gotten so many compliments on her creativity and skill from both guests of the wedding and those who have seen our photos. We are so thankful to have had Rachel capture such an important day for us!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Rachel! She is one of the most talented, creative, artistically beautiful photographers I have ever seen in my entire life. She has such an eye for creating the most beautiful photos and is able to capture and create pictures in a way that makes them look almost better than the real thing! Throughout our entire wedding process, Rachel felt like more than just our photographer, but also a friend, and because of that was able to learn our personalities to capture truly authentic photos with raw emotion for our wedding day. Rachel not only helped to keep us calm, but made the whole process enjoyable and fun! Every single photo in our wedding album has blown me away with its beauty. Her skills are unmatched by any! I could not be any happier that we found Rachel!! We met Rachel for our engagement shoot, and within the first minute of meeting her, I knew we did not make a mistake in choosing her to be our photographer. We both felt as though we had known her all our lives. She made our engagement shoot SO fun - especially coming from two people who had never gotten their pictures professionally taken. I knew we would be in good hands come our wedding day. From that moment until our wedding day, Rachel checked in and was there if I needed any help - from wedding ideas, vendor recommendations and overall support. Not only was Rachel my photographer, but I felt as though she was someone I could trust throughout our whole wedding day - like a good friend who was also my day-of coordinator. I felt so comfortable and at ease all day and night knowing that she was there making sure every second of my day was perfect. My husband and I have gotten nothing but compliments about our engagement/wedding photos as well as Rachel herself. I will be forever recommending her to anyone I know in need of a wedding photographer!!

Rachel is AMAZING! I am fortunate to also call her my friend and she was a dream to work with. I had always admired her work and knew that one day when I got married I would want her as our photographer - and she did not disappoint! She is so easy to work with and so incredibly talented. We had such a great experience working with Rachel for our engagement & wedding pictures! When my husband and I met her for our engagement photo session down the shore we immediately hit it off with her and our pictures turned out absolutely amazing. Rachel is a pleasure to work with and her work is truly gorgeous! From the beginning Rachel was extremely helpful with not only helping us pick the right package that fit our needs & worked within our budget, but she also helped me out with other wedding vendors such as my florist and makeup artist. She was also extremely patient with my constant questions and emails too lol Rachel was great to work with on our actual wedding day as well!! Our wedding photos also turned out beautiful and we couldn't be happier that we had Rachel as our photographer!

The best decision I made in my wedding planning (aside from picking my groom!) was hiring Rachel Pearlman as my photographer. It is difficult to put into words just how appreciative I am of Rachel for shooting the most special day in our lives. From the first time I met Rachel my fiance joked that he felt like he was watching Rachel and I on our first date because we immediately hit it off. She is exceptionally talented, excited about her work and professional. What truly impressed me when I first met with Rachel was that in additional to her photography services she had recently planned her own wedding and could truly relate to what it feels like to be a bride. She provided me with great advice throughout the process and gave my great vendor recommendations. I felt so comfortable with her discussing the wedding planning that when it came time to take our save the date photos it was such a fun day and not uncomfortable at all. Rachel was able to capture amazing shots because my fiance and I were both so natural in front of her because she truly became a friend. As the big day approached Rachel was available for any questions or last minute concerns. She sat with me and helped to make a realistic schedule/timeline of the day to capture all of the memories I had dreamed about. Her due diligence prior to the wedding day gave me such relief and really allowed me to enjoy the day and not worry about all the details. I trusted her throughout the process and knew the photos would be stunning. Rachel's work is gorgeous. She is able to capture all the small details of the day that you put so much effort into planning and Rachel appreciates all those small details as well. Rachel had pictures for me the very next day and all of the photos within a few weeks. Her work is absolutely stunning and I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding. I cannot wait to share in future milestones with Rachel as my family's photographer and friend! She became my photographer soulmate.

Rachel is an amazing photographer and an amazing person to work with. My husband is a photographer himself so choosing who was going to photograph our wedding was one of the biggest and hardest decisions we had to make. We met with several photographers and we could not be more thrilled with our decision to book Rachel.

As soon as we met with her we felt comfortable. She is so easy going and laid back which was great for a stressful bride like myself. We decided to do a first look on the day of the wedding and she scouted locations and sent us options in advance to help us pick the perfect spot. Her and her wonderful second shooter Ashlee did a great job managing everyone. Our entire bridal party loved her and really enjoyed having her with us the entire day.

She captured all the moments we wanted and even though it rained all day she still managed to create beautiful photos for us. The quality of her work is beyond compare. I am very critical of myself in photos and I can honestly say I loved every single one. We haven’t been able to stop looking at our wedding pictures since we received them.

We would definitely recommend Rachel!

Our search for a wedding photographer was one of the most difficult and ultimately rewarding ones! I am VERY picky about photos- capturing our wedding was extremely important to me and I didn't want standard pictures that were going to look just like everyone else's. Our wedding had unique moments and I wanted unique photos to remember the day by.

Every photographer I looked at started to blend in with the next and I was getting so frustrated with the search. I stumbled upon Rachel through none other than facebook-- a friend of a friend used her to shoot his wedding and like any bride knows, pictures of any weddings are fun to look at when you are engaged and planning your own. When I saw the pictures I knew right away that Rachel could capture anything perfectly.

And she did (with the help of her lovely assistant Tammy). Rachel travelled to Boston for our wedding an was so incredibly easy going, professional, and helpful on the day of. We had never met before and I felt like she knew exactly what I wanted without my ever saying anything. She took all the right pictures and was there at all the right moments- something that we are forever grateful for! We were so confident in our decision to book Rachel- once we found her I never looked at another photographer.

The quality of her work speaks for itself- looking through her albums you can tell that every couple has a special story and she is able to tell it through her photos.

As icing on the cake, Rachel's turnaround time was incredible. In fact, so incredible that she was getting married three weeks after us and got our pictures edited and completely done before her wedding. Wait until 3 weeks before your wedding and you will realize how impressive that is! Another important thing for us was having the digital rights to our pictures, which Rachel provides as part of her packages.

You can tell that she puts her heart and soul into what she does and she is amazingly talented!! THANK YOU RACHEL!!!!

SERIOUSLY AMAZING! From the knowledgeable tips during the planning stages to the creative eye on the wedding day to the efficient turnaround of the photos after the wedding, I highly recommend Rachel Pearlman. She was a breeze to work with, as she reviewed all of our ideas during the planning and gave us helpful suggestions (and even looked up my Pinterest page for ideas!). She was steadfast in including all of our ideas and must-have photos, but Rachel also came up with ideas of her own that perfectly matched our personal style. She was flexible and professional on the day of the wedding, not wasting any time taking charge when our big families needed to be corralled in for pictures. Rachel was also extremely sweet and genuinely wanted the best for our big day. I think I would have paid Rachel good money just to be a calming and comforting presence, someone who made sure I was making the most of my every moment as a bride. It is truly wonderful that she was also the someone who captured each moment and memory on film. Even our vendors have asked for her contact information, as she was truly fantastic to work with. My husband and I can't say enough great things about personally working with Rachel and her second shooter Annie, who was also extremely pleasant and talented. Though my guests did not achieve the personal relationship we did with Rachel, they were all able to view her work after the wedding; each guest has been impressed by her beautiful photos and (almost as eagerly impressed) with her turnaround time. We were able to view some of our wedding photos as early as the honeymoon, and the rest were soon to follow. We love every photo and have received many compliments. Soon we will be turning some of those beautiful shots into canvas prints in our new home! The only difficult part will be which of beautiful shots to choose...

Rachel and Annie (her assistant) were AMAZING for our wedding- the pictures turned out ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and we couldn't be happier with all the artistic photos!!! Rachel is such a great person that REALLY cares about her clients and she really takes her time to make sure everything you want is completed. I had a difficult mother that put a lot of expectations on Rachel and she handled it VERY well and made both my mother and I extremely happy with the results. Rachel was exactly what I was looking for in a photographer. I was trying to make the wedding laid back and fun and she fit right in with that theme. She was extremely flexible even moving her schedule around to shoot out rehearsal dinner. Her and Annie were great on the wedding day. Having been in 12 weddings (not including my own) I consider myself a fairly good judge of wedding vendors. I can say, without a doubt that Rachel Pearlman is the most talented and professional photographer I have ever worked with. She has been photographing my nieces and my friends' children/families for a few years and I knew I wanted Rachel to photograph my wedding as soon as I got engaged. We booked her more than a year in advance to make sure she could travel to our destination wedding. We could not be happier with the results.
Rachel's photographs speak for themselves - they are beyond amazing - but her professionalism and value make her the obvious choice for your life's most special days.
Her presence at events is charming, commanding when necessary (ie with uncooperative groomsmen), adaptive (key when working with children), fun, and never in your face yet she always manages to capture the most special moments. You can tell she has put thought and research into your location and what you have told her you want from your pictures. She looks to capture not just images but vibes and relationships and her pictures stand out because of her ability to do this.
As far as her professionalism goes, you will not find a harder working photographer. She is seriously on the ball. Since our wedding was in a different country, I expected to have to wait a while to view any sort of sneak peak of the pics but she had more than 70 pictures on her website and facebook within 48 hours of returning to the states. Everyone who was still at the resort was looking at them for the rest of the trip.
I cannot recommend Rachel enough to anyone looking to have any sort of special day captured. My only advice is book her now, before it is too late.

Rachel and her assistants Ryan and Annie did an incredible job photographing our wedding this weekend! Rachel went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I, and our guests felt comfortable. Rachel was one of the first vendors we reserved, and throughout the planning process we were so impressed by her professionalism. She remembered details about our wedding months and months in advanced. She kept in contact with us regularly. On the wedding day it felt like she was in our wedding, not a vendor covering it. My husband and I are so grateful to Rachel and her crew for their outstanding photography the day of the wedding. They were unobtrusive when taking candid shots but confident and gave great direction when taking formals. They were so creative, noticing details we would have overlooked. We've seen a small collection of photos from the wedding already and were blown away! We've already recommended Rachel to all of our engaged friends!!

Words cannot describe how great Rachel and her team are. My expectations were completely exceeded! I've only seen a few proofs (was happily surprised to be able to view a few the day after my wedding!!) and already I am blown away . Everything about the day was captured in such a beautiful, surreal, and VERY non-invasive manner. I was worried about feeling self conscious and overly aware of the camera but Rachel made me feel so at ease and comfortable. I really cannot sing Rachel Pearlman's praises enough. Rachel Pearlman was one of the best discoveries during my wedding planning.

My fiance and I decided the week before Christmas that we were going to get married February 4, 2012. I had just a few short weeks to plan. Rachel was recommended by our venue the Montchanin Inn in Wilmington, Delaware. I looked through her website and facebook page over the holidays absolutely wanted to hire her. The pictures were unique, colors brillant, and I loved her focus on details and accents.
We met within a few days of my initial e-mail. She was super accomodating to my crazy and unpredictable schedule. Rachel was sweet, honest, quiet but I took to her immediately. She started to showcase her stunning albums and I just blurted out...can I sign the contract? My gut said she was a perfect fit for our small and intimate wedding.
The Friday night before the wedding we had a small dinner for just family and the wedding party at the Crow's Nest. There were 14 of us in a private room and her presence was not at all disturbing. My nieces also gravitated to her warmth.
On the wedding day, Rachel arrived with an 2nd photographer and an assistant to help with lighting. She walked into the bridal suite and immediately went to work. I could see her ideas flowing. They started with shooting accents like shoes, my fascinator, flowers, rings, dress, ect. Annie her assistant was equally as sweet and adorable.
Fifteen minutes before our reveal photographers it started to rain and sleet. Rachel calmly asked if I wanted to pursue the ottdoor photos while assuring me they would be worth it. I trusted her completely...we headed down to the train tracks with big red umbrellas trying our best to keep dry. These are my favorite pictures so far of the day and worth a couple of rain drops.
I really wanted photographs outside knowing our candlelight affair would yield a different mood entirely once the ceremony started. Rachel hunted out spots throughout the Inn found the most perfect and dry settings.
There were some photos I requested be taken but overall the photos of the day were all her own. You could see her excitement and ideas brewing and she would ask...what do you think about this? Rachel is extrememly polite and always asked my thoughts on her ideas. She is refreshingly enthusiatic and loves what she does.
Rachel posted a sneak peak of the very next day on facebook. I still get compliments and raves about our pictures.
During our engagment my fiance and I discovered we were pregnant. We have already decided she will be our photographer for a maternity/belly shoot and our baby's newborn pictures.
I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. She will be our photographer for a long time to come.

Rachel was amazing! I waited until very late to secure a photographer because in all honesty I didn't realize it was such a tedious process and no ones artistry or prices convinced me. I found Rachel through a friend and knew she was the one. Her prices were extremely reasonable, she was so flexible, knowledgable and professional. She was great to be around and I felt like she personally was a part and guest of my wedding not just a professional rendering a service.
