  We are sooo happy we decided to book Rachelle as our photographer! She is the most friendly, hilarious, talented photographer and I felt like I was jut hanging out with my friend on my wedding day. Photos can be stressful but we spent our entire engagement session and our wedding day laughing, smiling and having fun. She made us feel so comfortable right away and it definitely shows in our pictures. Our pictures by the way, were arguably the most important thing to me while planning. I could not be happier with how they are turning out so far in the previews. People still talk about how our engagement shoot should be in a magazine, you would never know that we shot those on one of the hottest, most humid July days in Michigan! (Not to mention it was snowing during our wedding photos!) Rachelle we are absolutely thrilled with your work, but also want to thank you for everything you did for us on our Best Day Ever. You played a bigger role than you even know in making our day perfect!

  I booked Rachelle after looking at soooo many photographers all over the state of Michigan. Being from Florida and planning an out of state wedding was a little intimidating, but when I found Rachelle and contacted her she was so responsive, professional and courteous when answering ALL of my questions via email. Before the wedding we had about a two hour conference call and went over every fine detail. Her and her assistant Bonnie were very accommodating and went so well with the flow of the day. We are so happy we booked Rachelle!

  Rachelle was an incredible wedding photographer! She was quick in responding to communication, flexible with the problems that came up for us, and an absolute joy to work with. The photographs came out so perfectly, and she captured all of the important moments, plus the ones we didn't know we wanted! We were thrilled to work with her on our special day and recommend her to anyone that wants someone they can trust.

She was efficient and flexible and was always available for communication! We got married on October 3rd and got our photo preview back a week later and are absolutely in love!   I fell in love with Rachelle's photography after the wedding of my brother's best friend. In a photo of his amazing new wife, Rachelle captured her in her dress cloaked in fur on in the middle of a bare street on a winter's day; it was a stunning juxtaposition in black and white. I booked Rachelle for my summer wedding set on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. She was incredible to work with. Since we planned the wedding from DC, she was very flexible in working with our schedule. Rachelle is so friendly and warm; she kept the entire process fun and stress free. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant had the perfect balance of candid photo capturing, executing the photos I had requested and guest interaction (my whole family remarked on how lovely she is). The day went so quickly; Rachelle helped us to keep the memories fresh on our mind by releasing a teaser album days later. The photos are so beautiful. From the intimate moments with my family to my long-hoped-for sunset photo, Rachelle preserved beautifully the exact spirit of our wedding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

  I wish we could give higher than 5 stars because I just don't think this describes how happy my family and I are with Rachelle. We are waiting on all of the pictures still, but the first 100 that we have seen have all been AMAZING!

  During the reception, we had a photo booth, which all the guests loved. She also did an amazing job to capture all the fun everyone was having, especially my husband and I. She got some amazing shots that really will help us remember everything from years to come.
  If you are looking for a sweet, caring photographer that really wants to give you everything you ask for, book Rachelle now. She is fantastic!

  Rachelle was amazing from start to finish. She did our engagement as well as our wedding photos. She listens to your wants- if you're uncomfortable or feel unnatural with a pose, she doesn't try to force it. Even if you think you're not photogenic, she somehow manages to get the picture perfect! So happy with Rachelle, highly recommend.

  From the very start she was a pleasure to work with -- she is flexible, has such a sweet spirit and personality, is very creative, always answered emails and texts promptly, and shot absolutely beautiful photos for our engagement and wedding. We could not have been happier working with her!
  Our interracial wedding involved working with various cultural differences and adjusting the time for taking photos because we ran behind in getting ready… Through all of this Rachelle had a consistent, sweet, flexible attitude, and never made us feel rushed or awkward. She kept us laughing and enjoying the photo experience the whole day!

  We couldn’t have picked a better photography company than Rachelle Rae Photography. Rachelle and her photography team were professional, courteous, driven, caring, detail-oriented, creative, friendly, and so much more.

Rachelle was nice enough to drive to meet with us a few months before the wedding to sit down and discuss all of the details of the wedding for 3+ hours. Time flew by talking with her because we enjoyed the conversation so much, and it was so nice of her to care about getting every single detail. Rachelle also held to her word of unlimited time, being that she began the wedding day during the preparations early in the morning (8am I believe) and stayed until we had our grand exit at midnight. What a long day for them, and she did not miss a beat. The photos came out perfect. She captured everything we wanted and more. There are too many great shots to choose from for framing. Being the groom of the wedding, my favorite part about having Rachelle as our photographer is the value. She was about half the price of all of the other photographers, and we liked her work the best anyways when we were shopping around. She also included a photo booth for our reception and came to shoot our wedding party a few days before the wedding at a lake house we rented for the week (I believe this was in place of engagement photos).
