    Daughter's Wedding Reception 6-1-2024

    What an amazing experience. The venue was beautiful and Megan was absolutely wonderful to work with and so very helpful. The food and cake were so amazing that our guests are still talking about it. The day of the wedding Sal and his team where right on point. Everything was ready for the guests when we arrived. They also were right there when we had a question or needed something. Would definately recommend Rand Events and their staff.

    Amazing Caterer for Weddings!

    We are beyond pleased with the superb catering of Ranch Events for our wedding at El Cortez’s Don Room! Ramon was so wonderful, helpful, and professional throughout the whole planning process. First, they brought us in for a food tasting, where they provided generous (full) portions of all food per our selected menu (normal, Mexican or Tuscany food menus)—they even provided us a slice of cake for over 9 cake flavors and let us take home all leftovers! The food tasting for our wedding menu that was provided was honestly the first “fun” moment of our stressful wedding planning process and I enjoyed it so much. For the food itself, it was so delicious and flavorful! I was cautious at first about what to expect for food quality and my expectations were far exceeded. Their amazing champagne amaretto cake is a must try for your own taste wedding cake!! The staff is so wonderful and helpful, and our main point of contact, Ramon, was a great coordinator and scheduled meetings for choosing the table linens and finalizing the wedding timeline, which I appreciated because it made me feel more calm about getting everything in place for our wedding. During the actual event, the Ranch Events staff were so professional, friendly and efficient, and all our guests told us how much they loved the food! I highly recommend Ranch Events for your future wedding!

    Couldn't be happier with Ranch!

    Bernardo and Ranch Catering were beyond incredible to work with throughout our wedding planning process! We originally were going to only use Ranch for their catering services but due to covid and restrictions at our original venue, we ultimately switched our reception to the Ranch Seaside Room in Mission Bay. Being a covid bride moving forward with our original date, I couldn’t help but be sad that we wouldn’t be able to use our original venue and that we would have to cut our guest list, but in the end, our wedding was infinitely more beautiful, fun, and perfect than we had every imagined it could be, all thanks to Bernardo and the Ranch team!

    Bernardo worked with us through every step of planning our wedding from pre-covid planning through making the event as safe as possible for our guests. Not only was the food DELICIOUS (as we knew it would be from all of our taste testings!), but the Seaside Room and patio were beyond GORGEOUS and so well done by Ranch. My husband and I to this day are still in awe of how everything came together under Bernardo’s direction and guidance.

    Bernardo was at our reception from start to finish making sure my now husband and I were happy with how everything turned out and not hungry! After months of stressful planning, it could not have come together better. It’s been just about two months since our wedding and we still have friends and family telling us how wonderful our wedding was and how it was the highlight of the year.

    I rarely write reviews but I am so impressed by Bernardo and Ranch that I had to! I HIGHLY recommend them for any future bride looking for a great team, delicious food, and gorgeous bay front venue at an affordable price!

    Amazing value and service from a local, family-owned business

    We had a fantastic experience working with Ranch Events to cater our wedding! We have had nothing but fantastic service from this local, family-owned business.

    Ramon made the entire process seamless, and was responsive, professional, and an overall delight to work with. We ended up coming in for two tastings, both completely complimentary, and everything was cooked in-house and delicious! We had such a good experience working with Ramon, that we decided to expand our order to include furniture rentals for both our ceremony and reception. We also decided to go with Ranch Events in-house florist, Natalie, and had such a wonderful experience working with Natalie and were blown away by her arrangements and floral choices.

    Unfortunately due to the county-wide lockdown for COVID-19 two weeks before our wedding, we had to completely cancel all of our plans last minute. The team at Ranch Events were completely open in communication and empathetic in a time that must have been so difficult for their business, and kept our deposit available to be used on an event at a future date (which was fine with us!).

    We have nothing but positive things to say about Natalie, Ramon, and the entire Ranch Events team, and look forward to working with them again in the future to cater many celebrations to come. We've also recommended them to multiple friends since then, because you simply cannot beat the quality and value of their services.

    Yvonne was wonderful and really helped us design our wedding reception and was very attentive down to the last detail. Of course, she was even present during the reception to make sure that everything went perfect and that we were happy. All of our guests had a wonderful time and we couldn’t have been happier. During the planning process, she had many recommendations and worked with us to keep things within our budget. Thank you Yvonne! I would highly recommend Yvonne and Ranch Events!

    Great food and service

    Absolutely loved the experience working with Paula at the Ranch. Prompt responses and everything was perfect for our day. Food was delicious and service was excellent!

    One stop shop for all details

    We had our reception in the Sunset Room of the Marina Village, and Ranch is conveniently located on the first floor of the same building. They do pretty much everything! We got cocktail snacks, an espresso bar, chairs, linens, and dinnerware through them. Megan was also very friendly and easy to work with. Would recommend them to anyone who wants to simplify the wedding planning process a bit!

    Ranch Events was a one stop shop for everything we needed! All of our guests raved about our food and cake - all provided by Ranch! Megan D was great! She walked us through everything, letting us know all of our options, meeting with us several times to make sure our day was perfect! They provided us with the chairs and linens for the reception, set-up & clean- up and the staff was amazing! I would totally recommend them for any event!

    We got married at Marina Village this past Sunday and had our reception in the Catalina Room. Ranch Events made the planning and the wedding day so smooth. We worked with Bernardo and he went above and beyond on the day of the wedding to ensure it was everything we had hoped for. Our family and friends who helped bring decorations and flowers to the venue had nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff that we there throughout the set up and the reception. The bartender and servers were wonderful! Ranch Events and Bernardo truly made our wedding memorable, beautiful and amazing and we are so appreciative to them for that!

    My husband and I are so thankful to have worked with Bernardo and Ranch Events for our January 2016 wedding. Ranch had everything we needed and more. We chose the Seaside Room at Marina Village because of its gorgeous harbor views and outdoor patio space. Ranch also provided the tables, linens, cups plates and silverware, and they had a wide selection to choose from. The day of our wedding, they did an amazing job decorating and setting up.

    Since Ranch is located at Marina Village, we knew all the food and cake/cupcakes would be made on site, so it would be at its freshest when served. Buffet was delicious and definitely the way to go, since it gave our guests more food options. We also loved that they let us have a cutting cake AND cupcakes to serve. Everyone loved the food served at our wedding!

    I can’t forget to mention that they allowed us to bring in our own alcohol for the bar! Ranch provided excellent bartending services and allowed us to have both an outdoor and indoor bar to assist the large crowd during cocktail hour. In fact, all the catering staff, including our captain, were friendly and amazing to work with on our wedding day! Also it was an absolute pleasure to have Bernardo assisting us from start to finish! He was always quick to answer questions by email, and anytime we came to the venue, he made sure to say hello and see if we needed help with anything. He went above and beyond to make our special day a memorable one! I highly recommend Ranch Events for any special occasion events, and be sure to ask for Bernardo!

    At first I was hesitant to book with Ranch Events because of the bad reviews. But my experience with RE and Rhonda was nothing short from amazing. She was extremely easy to work with, full of great innovative ideas, and very professional. She worked within our budget and made great suggestions to keep costs within our price range. We even got two food tastings, because at our first food tasting we were so stuffed after sampling all of the apps & entrees that we couldn’t decide on the cake flavor. So we scheduled a second cake tasting and Rhonda provided us with an unexpected entrée tasting as well. The food was even better at the reception than at the first and second tastings. At the tastings I wasn’t impressed with the asparagus, but at the reception they were steamed perfectly. Honestly, my guests raved about the food and cake. They are still talking about it! Rhonda suggested a creative, unique & cost effective touch to our table centerpieces, they were cake centerpieces and they turned out equally beautiful as delicious. She was able to find a specific type of rose to top the cake centerpieces in order to match the bouquets. Also there were a couple extra bonuses: RE served chocolate & strawberries with our cheese station, gummy bears & several candy toppings at the ice cream sundae bar and RE even supplied large decorative, blue light-up globes throughout the reception venue. The Seaside Room has comfortable & charming vibe and truly everything surpassed my expectations. Thank you everyone at RE, Rhonda, kitchen staff, wait staff, bartenders, decorating team and set-up/clean-up crew! The service was outstanding and the venue was decorated perfect! (If you have a special request, then just ask you’ll be surprised how accommodating RE/Rhonda can be.) Thank you for creating our best day ever!!!

    It is with great pleasure that I’m writing this letter of commendation for the captain of our event. My daughter, Marisa’s wedding was Catered & designed by Ranch Events. The food and service was received by guests and family with many compliments, but it was the manner in which the service was provided by your staff, that drew the greatest reviews.
    My daughters and indeed our two families were impressed by the professionalism and personal touch & the attention to detail. The captain was facilitative and coordinated the events with easy and skill. Many of our guests were very complementary. In our every day “hustle and bustle” were generally expect quality, service and we are quick to complain when we don’t receive it. We often forget that a job well done should not be overlooked.
    Thank you to all the staff who contributed greatly to success of the wedding and ceremonies that followed. Our family is grateful.

    WOW- what a beautiful event you did for us!
    Everything was just perfect. You transformed a plain office in library station into a beautiful place for a party. I receive so many compliments on your food, service, and décor. My boss, the board of directions, the staff, and most importantly, our guest were thoroughly impressed.
    I was blown away by your personal attention to our party. I know our event was small by your standards, but you made it seem like it was important to you. Your attention meant a lot to me! We greatly appreciate everything you did to make our event a success.

    Ranch Catering took care of EVERYTHING for me! Bernardo was my event planner, he e-mailed me and called me every week or every other week to make sure that he had everything correct for our paperwork and made sure that our reception room was going to be decorated in the right color and styles as we had asked. Bernardo set up our candy bar and was directing workers on what to do before our reception had started. He was VERY efficient with communication, he let me know when we was going to be out of town and he also e-mailed me back within 12 hours! He was an amazing planner. Our tasting was also amazing! We got to try all of the food, pick our own menu, change anything within the entrees and we were served at our wedding the entire night. Ranch also did our wedding cake, we got to sample and pick which layer we wanted and I was able to send my own design of the cake to them and our cake was flawless! Ranch provided all of out glassware, silverware, plates and linens along with a bartender, ice, and our wait staff, all at a really good price! I would HIGHLY recommend Ranch to anybody who is not looking to do their own decorations and somebody who is VERY easy to communicate with!

    We worked with Beth from Ranch Events and she was fantastic. So helpful and made everything so easy! I'm a bride who had no idea what I wanted and Beth walked me through everything very patiently. Their food and tasting services are amazing and by far the best value. My husband wasn't able to attend the tasting but Beth sent me home with some samples for him to try, she really went above and beyond our expectations. Everyone at the wedding raved about the food and went back for more!

    We also used their venue space at Marina Village and loved it! Beautiful venue on the bay and the sunset was stunning! Again planning, set up and execution was done with Beth and I can't thank her enough for making the best day of my life so easy and wonderful!

    Randy at Ranch Catering helped create our wedding day fairy tale and made it a dream come true! We are so thankful for Ranch Catering for all they did! Everyone still is talking about how amazing our wedding was and especially the Wedding Cake!

    When we did our consultation, we brought in pictures of things we liked and when we finally saw our cake it far surpassed our expectations. They did a great job.

    My husband and I would like to extend our deepest thanks to all of you, and your staffs, for the extraordinary job that you all did for my daughter, Stephanie Marcks, and her husband, Jordan Weisman, at their wedding on Saturday, 1/2/10. The wedding experience exceeded all of our expectations. The room was beautiful in both set-ups; both the ceremony and the reception afterwards. The food was delicious and we received many compliments on your behalf. The flowers and centerpieces were lovely and exactly what my daughter had anticipated.
