Dos Pueblos Ranch is a magical place. We researched locations high and low and the website and photos we found online did not do this place justice. When we arrived on location, we were both literally dropping our jaws at the beauty and distinct look of this place. You really won't find anything else like it in Santa Barbara. Offering a grassy bluff overlooking the ocean, to a private and pristine beach front and then the gem of it all is the barn from the 1920's. We held our reception in here and it could not have been more perfect. On top of that, Tricia Fountaine is the gal who runs all the events and is a master at it all! We will write more about her under florals and decor because she is a pro!

The venue was the setting our daughter was looking for-natural and more rustic. The manager listened to all of our concerns and desires and worked to make it all come together. Last minute weather issues were handled well. The place was clean and neat. You have to be prepared to spend a fair amount of time and money to transform it into what you would want for a wedding, but it was well worth the time and effort.

Rancho Dos Pueblos (Dos Pueblos Ranch) was my first choice for venues. I fell in love with it immediately. The expansive grounds include a barn, a grove, a private beach and a great house with a huge lawn, although each site is an extra cost. This is only a "shell venue" so you have to rent everything (portable toilets, electric generator, portable kitchen, tables, chairs, etc.) so it gets really really costly. Tricia Fountaine, the property manager, is also an extremely talented floral designer. google her to see her blog) She is very busy so she may take a while to respond, but she is very nice.
