  Best Cake Ever

  Absolutely the best cakes in Kansas City. Rita is amazing!! Our guests raved about all three flavors of cake. The traditional white wedding cake was the best I have ever eaten. I would recommend her for any event. On top of being so sweet and easy to work with she is an incredible baker. She made the wedding a very special event! Thank you Rita!!

  Rita was awesome to work with! The meeting we had to help design my cake was so helpful and the tastings were amazing! My cake turned out delicious and beautiful. It was the best tasting cake I've ever had!

  This cake is delicious! Like seriously delicious. I ended up ordering way too much cake (about 40 servings too many, whoops). I had 2 pieces of cake left over. I ordered 3 cakes. The largest cake was white cake with blackberry filling (perfect for summer), the second was guava cake with guava filling (no leftovers to be found), and the third was white cake with cherry filling for my groom (gone before the bouquet toss). Rita was so nice and responded to my emails so fast. We also were able to rent gorgeous cake stands from her as well. Rita arranged all the cake flowers from my florists onto the cakes when she arrived. She is truly and kind and wonderful woman and her baking skills are amazing! I only ordered cake but she also makes cupcakes, truffles, and cheesecakes. She gave me a free sample of the truffles which were amazing as well. Even the bartender grabbed her card for her son's upcoming wedding because she loved the cake so much. I feel like I'm going to have to start ordering a fancy cake for my birthdays so I have another excuse to eat this cake!

So many of our wedding guests complimented us (and commented) on not only the beautiful look of our cake but also the mouth-watering flavors: almond + guava cake, guava filling, and sugar sparkle buttercream frosting. We LOVED our cake so much that we ate the top layer - normally reserved for the 1st Wedding Anniversary - within 5 days of our wedding! Had to share it with some out-of-state and interational guests.   Rita's almond cake is my favorite cake in the entire world, so when I got engaged, I knew I had to have her famous almond cake at my wedding. I sent Rita a few photos of cakes I liked and she helped to narrow down the decision. The final product was absolutely gorgeous and so delicious - we could not have been more pleased. Thank you so much, Rita!

  I found Rita after my best friend had seen (and tasted!) her cake at another friend's wedding. Based on what my best friend said, there was no cake left after the reception because guests kept going back and having more! Rita and I met at the cake tasting and she was simply fantastic. She was so amazing and super helpful and her cakes were delicious! I ended up changing the design a couple weeks before the wedding and Rita was nothing but supportive! She knew exactly what I truly wanted and delivered a cake that was nothing short of spectacular. Everyone kept coming up to my husband and I saying how amazing the cake was; so fluffy, just melts in your mouth, absolutely perfect. :) Rita was the absolute best, and I'm SO thankful we were able to work with her.

Not only are her cakes fabulous but they are beautiful to look at. Her tastings are very professional and worth every penny (and you get to take home some yummy treats). Our wedding cake was exactly what I had wanted. I would go with Raspberry Rose with another cake order in a second. This is the real deal!

Rita makes not only beautiful but delicious cakes and our wedding cake was no different! Working with her was a great experience from start to finish! Not only does she provide quality service but I felt she was reasonably priced as well. I would definitely recommend her.

  My wedding cake was amazing! Rita was great to work with, kind, flexible, and price was great! As my guests were eating cake I heard multiple people and our dj state, "this is the best cake I've had!" Made my day to know my guests were happy too!

  Rita, from Raspberry Rose, worked with me to find a cake that was PERFECT for our wedding. We showed her a few ideas of cakes we liked off the internet/Pinterest, and she knew immediately the look we were going for! The cake was GORGEOUS, and we received compliments on it all night! It was also delicious!

  We used Raspberry Rose Wedding Cakes for our wedding on April 4th, 2014. She was fantastic to deal with and the cake was awesome!!! We found out about them from our wedding coordinator at Loose Mansion (who was also fabulous).
  
  The whole experience from the cake tasting and selection process to the cake itself was very positive and we would highly recommend to Raspberry Rose to anyone who is looking for a wedding cake. The cake designs were lovely and Rita, the owner, was very open to our ideas to change certain elements of the cake due to our color/floral scheme.
  
  The cake flavors were good - we used lemon raspberry and chocolate for our layers. The one thing we loved about the cakes is that they weren't too sweet! She also made a special Grooms Cake for my husband, who is a physician that LOVES to Golf! It is a Physicians Bag with a set of golf clubs sticking out of the top. It is a beautiful and fun cake. A picture of this cake can be found on her website.
  
  Hopefully I won't get married again but if I had to do it over again, I would happily use Raspberry Rose again!

  After tasting Rita's wedding cake 5 years ago at my best friend's wedding, I KNEW that she was the only person I wanted to do the cake for my own wedding. My wedding cake was the 6th time I've had Rita's cake, and as always it was delicious AND beautiful! We had a 4 tier cake with layers of her white cake and her strawberry champagne cake. Both flavors were delicious, but in my opinion nothing will ever top the white! I didn't get to see our cake until we showed up at the reception, and it was perfect! Everything I could have ever wanted!

She has an endless number of flavor and design options and will work with you to make it exactly what you want. Everyone at the wedding LOVED the cake and wanted more. We also ordered truffles, which were a huge hit as well!

  The was the only baker i found in Kansas City who make stunning cakes that actually taste AMAZING! This is not the grocery store quality. This is home baked goodness. Within an hour we had designed my custom cake for 150 people and I tasted all her amazing flavors. I chose the split layer with white and chocolate cake with a FRESH blackberry filling. I had so many guests rave about the cake- saying it was " the best wedding cake ever". I even found guests in the back room at reception eating the leftovers! Apart from talents she is a joy to work with.

We went with basic white and chocolate (my husband's choice, even though I wanted to take full advantage of what Raspberry Rose has to offer with creative and fruity flavors) and I cannot tell you how many guests told us how delicious the cake was. Not just how tasty it was but that it was the best cake they'd ever had! Rita also did our rehearsal dinner with filled cupcakes (yellow cake with fudge filling, strawberry champagne, and chocolate with a blackberry filling) and her signature truffles and they were equally delicious.   Rita Stretch did an amazing job with our wedding cake. She had so many great ideas to help us create exactly what we wanted. We had 5 different cake flavors and the were all delicious. Our guests loved the way it looked and tasted!!

  WOW! The best cake I have every had. Rita is he sweetest lady. We met with her and tried some things out. We went with the cake and cupcakes. Huuu sooo delicious. We ate cake and cupcakes the week after the wedding. The cake was beautiful! I recommend adding the sugar crystals. It adds bling ;). Super impressed and resonabily priced. I priced three people and Rita was in the middle. So amazing!

  WOW! The best cake I have every had. Rita is he sweetest lady. We met with her and tried some things out. We went with the cake and cupcakes. Huuu sooo delicious. We ate cake and cupcakes the week after the wedding. The cake was beautiful! I recommend adding the sugar crystals. It adds bling ;). Super impressed and resonabily priced. I priced three people and Rita was in the middle. So amazing!

  Rita of Raspberry Rose was wonderful to work with. Our daughter and her fiance had requested a flavor that Rita did not offer and was willing to work with them on creating the flavor combo they wanted. It was mint and chocolate and it was so supreme. We all just loved it and it was so refreshing! Gina and Henrique had also wanted their cake decorated with Rock Candy and Rita nailed it! It was decorated just the way they wanted! You would think the rock candy would break your teeth, but it didn't, it was all very delicious!

  I had a great experience with my cake decorator. She was excellent to work with. The cake was moist and delicious! She had a lot of options for the cake lay out, which was great for us, because we wanted something a little less traditional. The cake flavors are fantastic and the varieties are endless! We discovered her at the Lone Summit Ranch open house. This was a great time to check out different vendors in the area. She stood out among the dessert vendors. She was flexible and was there early to set up. I did have to drop off my cake stands (wooden stands), but she works very close to our wedding location, so it was easy.

  Rita was SO great to work with! She always got back to me with any questions that I had. She was great at envisioning and creating exactly what I was wanting! She was VERY flexible in that I think we changed the location of where we wanted the cake placed at the venue multiple times including the day of the wedding after she had already set it up at another location. The cakes tasted AMAZING! So moist and the raspberry center we went with was fabulous! I would highly recommend her for any of your cake needs!
