  GIFT! What can I say beyond Raven has a God-given gift to direct, curate, and produce weddings and special events. We hired Raven for full services for our wedding based on the referral of a close family friend and one in-person meeting with Raven. We went into the meeting expecting to elect for one month out service. By the end of the meeting, we knew we needed to go with Raven’s full-service expertise. Raven is extremely detail oriented, attentive, communicative, organized, compassionate, and truly loves what she does.
  
  Raven made it a point to listen to every detail we shared and truly brought our desires to fruition. We were mesmerized on our Wedding day. We walked into the room and Raven had incorporated every detail into our venue and special day. Raven made us feel special. I know it’s cheesy but it is the truth, we were not just another couple, we were valued and important. Who doesn’t want to feel special when they are planning something as significant as a wedding?
  
  We were planning our wedding while my husband and I were living in two different countries! Raven made every moment and to-do item seamless. Raven met with us multiple times, provided frequent updates and check-ins, and used an exceptionally productive online program to keep us on track. Raven was incredibly professional, humble, and simply easy to get along with. Raven guided us through an amazing and stressful time in our lives with ease. Raven also has an incredibly extensive network, meaning working with Raven takes away the time-consuming task of identifying venues and vendors. We shared the aspects that we wanted and Raven sent over recommendations for us to simply say yes or no to, removing so much stress from the process.
  
  Raven loves the work that she does, her passion and talent are clearly evident in the excellent that is a Raven J event. We not only gained a planner but a friend.

  I am beyond pleased with the job Raven did for my wife and I. We were beyond pleased with Raven who is the definition of a professional and provided top notch customer service. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day went perfect and it did. She really made our day stress free and I thank her for that.

  My husband insisted that I have a wedding planner if for nothing but the day of. I thought I could handle it on my own without one since i had most of the wedding planned. But he wasn't having it. We met with another planner at first thought they were the one but didn't receive a response when we reached out to make a deposit. So I had to go on a hunt once again. Emailed another and nothing. So I was staring to worry, though I had time, I hadn't budgeted for a planner so I need to figure it out quick. I was searching here on Weddingwire for another planner but they didn't have a website, but Raven showed up an alternative. I immediately went to her website and was impressed, emailed her directly and we met within a week. My son was sold, he flirted the entire first meeting. We left there making a deposit. Raven and her assistant were on point on my wedding day. Things I didn't think about she did, and she make sure that my wedding started on time. I didn't want my guests waiting. She even made sure all the traditional things that should have happened were ready to happen (garter toss, toast, bouquet toss) though we didn't do them. I am so, so, so glad that I was able to book her for my special day. Maybe one day I will be as professional to a bride on her day as I help her navigate through her wedding. Thank you Raven J Events for making my day flawless.

  I had to rate Raven and her wonderful team a perfect score on all of the points. Raven was so great that every time my family or friends met her throughout the process they had so many great things to say. She was so professional and personable! She kept me on my toes even though I thought I knew everything since I've planned my wedding since childhood. She helped me with every little detail that I would have never imagined had to be thought about. On my wedding day we would have been like every other wedding my family and I complain about that's running super late. If it wasn't for Raven keeping us on target with time and giving us cues for various minute marks we would have never been on time for the time line that was set for the day. Raven's team was also amazing! My florist didn't sprinkle the petals for ceremony like I wanted so her team did so reminding me of the scene in Coming to America moving so gracefully and they all had great attitudes and spirits throughout the evening. My mom was against me "wasting" money on a wedding planner, but when her and I went to one of Raven's events my mom was sold with her professionalism and enthusiasm and realized how we needed her in our lives. Raven's services was money well spent and saved me from a lot of gray hair and time keeping. Raven always says thanks for letting her be a small part in our wedding but she was definitely a major part of the whole process! I booked for the month of coordination which means she will start working with you about two months from date but you're able to text, call, or email all you want for anything from advice to vender ideas. Like I said before money well spent and if I have a vowel renewal she will definitely be my first call, No Doubt!

She is Rock star, she was my day-of-planner, but she went far above and beyond that! She started working with me a month ahead of time and basically pulled together everything for me. I got rave reviews about her from so many vendors and family members and it just goes to show how good she is. She is great at what she does and anyone who gets her is lucky to have her. I want to plan an event just to have her be my planner and I'm already recommending her to people!

  There are not enough words of praise that I can write to fully articulate how impressed everyone was who attended the two events that Raven J. Events managed for me and my husband. We recently became parents after a long wait and wanted to share the joy with our friends and family through a Sip n See Shower and a Christening. Ms. Joiner listened carefully to my desires for each event and immediately began to source vendors to create the desired visions. She managed everything beautifully from the flowers, cake toppers, guests, food preparation, different venues, custom pillows, hostesses, guests and more!! We cannot recommend her enough and look forward to working with her again next month for our daughter's first birthday. She takes the worry out of your event!

  I am still enjoying my retirement which got off to a great start thanks to Raven J. Events. This was a night to remember as my guests and I strolled the red carpet laid out by Raven J. The silver wall streamers which were so eloquently hung with the matching chandelier in the center of the dance floor made the room look like a Cinderella ball. My guests were thrilled with the menu and caterer which were both recommended by Raven. Family and special friends had the pleasure of sitting at VIP tables adorned with black and red linens, silver embellishments and black top hats for party favors. The music and entertainment were the perfect touch to take my celebration to the next level. I would like to thank Raven J. Events for a job well done!

That’s when we decided to hire you, because we were confident you would satisfy our desires. Now as we think back, we know that it was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning. We cannot thank you enough for handling all the details of our wedding. From planning the wedding and rehearsal to helping us to choose the right venue, menu, rental selections, and stationery.   I highly recommend using Raven for your wedding or special event planning needs! She is professional, organized, flexible, personable and knows her stuff! Having her plan our wedding was the best decision we ever made and it took so much stress off of us. We actually enjoyed our year of engagement instead waiting for it to be over!
  We decided to utilize Raven’s services months prior to the wedding as well as her design services. There are countless wedding vendors to consider which can be overwhelming for a couple. Raven recommended several awesome vendors that we ultimately went with including the DJ, rental, floral, cake, stationary, hotel and wedding party attire. She had quality recommendations that made our process so much easier than finding it ourselves. For the design services, we shared several photos of inspiration that she was able to pull from to give us the desired look and feel of our wedding. We used a website portal she provided to track all of our guest list, RSVPs, checklists, etc. This tool was critical in keeping us organized! We were able to accomplish most of our coordination well through e-mail communication but she was willing to connect through phone as needed. Whenever we had questions about areas that may have been beyond her scope, she provided us good advice to make the right decisions.
  For the wedding rehearsal, Raven was very efficient and organized! On our wedding day is when we were able to see all of the work she was doing behind the scenes come to life! The venue looked absolutely beautiful like a royal wedding! There were minor things I wanted to tweak the day of but they paled in comparison to the overall day! The ceremony started on time and the rest of the evening went PERFECT! Our guests, my husband and myself had the best time ever and are thankful for the wedding memories to last us a lifetime.

She was very knowledgeable and was able to direct everyone - the bridal party and all of my many vendors. Her timeline was super helpful! I'm not sure how we would've gotten through the last month of planning and the big day without her. Thanks, Raven!
