  China is wonderful! She met with me to go over all my wants and expectations for my reception and truly delivered. Her and her team took care of everything and transformed a ballroom into the elegant and fun space I had envisioned. The quality of her work and the linens and lighting she uses are superior to anything else I have seen. She exceeded my expectations and made the setting up and breaking down of my reception space a breeze! I cannot recommend her services enough.

  Everyone at REA were extremely efficient and well trained no matter who you talk to. They offer excellent customer service. At the reception every product looked clean and brand new.
  My phone calls, texts and emails responded to immediately. Working with REA made this a fun and amazing experience.
  They offered a wide range of decorating ideas that created a Cinderella dream come true for the bride and groom.
  The day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about a thing. REA took care of every decorating detail.
  They gave me the time I needed to enjoy all the special moments of my daughter's special day.

  China was our event coordinator and designer. What this girl does is amazing... She made our dream wedding come true, the ballroom was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes during our private reveal. I am SOO happy and fortunate to have China and her expertise cover our wedding.

  China & her team are by far the best on the island! We used REA for both my wedding and a wedding I planned for my cousin who had a destination wedding here on Oahu. For my wedding China & her team provided beautiful linen, a mirror runner, candles, and even florals! My venue was a little outdated but China made it look amazing!
  For my cousins destination wedding China & her team provided linen and up lights, we booked a small room but it looked like a million dollar wedding reception! China and her team were outstanding, they truly go above and beyond to make your special day unforgettable.

  REA Events is the most amazing event and decor company in the business! China Anderson is a young, creative, and talented event designer that we have ever met! China did an awesome job at our wedding, she has exceed all of our expectations. China is so sweet, and friendly, working with her is like working with a close friend! With China’s creative designs, she was so easy to work with, and she is very trustworthy, that we put all of our faith in her hands. She is very prompt on responding to emails and or phone calls, and she took the time to meet with us on multiple occasions. China was so helpful throughout our wedding planning, she literally went above and beyond her duties as an event designer. She even went out of her way to call another vendor for the AV equipment for our video. Even with her extremely busy schedule, China made sure that everything, including the AV equipment was taken care of. She has an incredible eye for detail and her creative visions are second to none!

When we got together, she helped us understand what would work best for the venue we chose (especially since we really didn't have a clue), and its so great that she knows so many vendors and works great with them! Walking into the ballroom was jaw dropping! I couldn't believe how everything looked with the uplighting and the backdrop with the linens!   We found REA Events and Designs through The Wedding Cafe. We have also seen China’s company at bridal expos. We really liked the wide variety of linens and designs that she and her company have to offer.
  
  China is a bit hard to get ahold of, but when you do get ahold of her, she is very professional, helpful, and accommodating! Her assistant, Tracy, is also very nice and helpful too!
  
  When we met with China for our consultation, she told us that she got started in this business because her dad used to work in theater design. We knew that she would be good once she told us that. She was so easy to talk to and also had great ideas for us. We really enjoyed meeting with her!
  
  When we told her our wedding colors (which were sapphire blue, glittery gold, and red), she made several suggestions based on our color scheme. She showed us different linen options and pictures of work that she had done in the past. We ended up choosing gold lame’ chair covers with royal blue satin sashes for our guests. We also did a royal blue linen for the head table and a red rosette linen for our cake table. In addition to those, she did twinkle lights behind the head table and royal blue uplighting for the room. She told us that these colors would pop and would look nice together.
  
  On our wedding day, our guests were shocked at how gorgeous our ballrooms came out. It was a total transformation. She created the ‘wow’ factor that we wanted our guests to have. I thought that everything looked SO good and that her opinion of how everything would look was right! She was spot on with her recommendations! China has a GREAT eye for design. She is VERY professional. I would definitely recommend her company to other people.

  China and Tracy was awesome! China even helped me settle some misunderstandings with my site coordinator. All my rentals (linens, cake stand, pipe and draping and uplighting) made my wedding so beautiful.

  Great experience once we got everything finalized. It was hard getting in touch with China prior to the event to get it all set, she's extremely busy and very sought after. But once we had a contract it was smooth sailing. She worked with other contractors to get the items I needed. The final product was amazing and China went above and beyond on the rental setup. She & her team were on time, professional, worked with other vendors on site and made my wedding magical!

  Super helpful staff with great knowledge. We had a initial consultation and then they reviewed the reception site. We did a lot of communicating through email, and they were super flexible with the unforseen changes up until the day of the event.

  I worked with REA for my wedding and was very pleased with what they provided for me which was lighting, draping, and a monogram. Working with China was such a pleasure. REA is a company I would recommend for any type of event.

  Very unprofessional to stand-up a potential client! This really deserves 0 stars.
  
  After about half a dozen email exchange in requesting just simple information, I was pushed in doing a face-to-face consultation with China. In my very first email, I mentioned that I was not local so meeting her was not an option. Email correspondence were never answered directly from China, she was always CC'd though -- she had her assistants respond, either Tracy or Jason. It was repetitive as it was not just one person so I had to repeat info I've already told them. Very disorganized.
  
  We then did have an opportunity to go to Oahu, so I emailed again. My email was never responded to, just the automatic replies, which I noticed included a (new) option to book a consultation. I booked it for 4pm on 11/8/16. We got there around 3:30pm and walked around the area for a bit.
  
  At 3:50pm, we arrived at The Wedding Cafe (where our meeting was suppose to take place) and waited...and waited...and waited. We left at 4:40pm.
  
  I have not received a phone call or email of apology (it's been a week now). I really wanted to give them a chance. The owner of The Wedding Cafe (Luke) was extremely nice and even texted China for us while we were there waiting. We did pick up some marketing materials though while at The Wedding Cafe, so not a complete lost.

  Very unprofessional to stand-up a potential client! This really deserves 0 stars.
  
  After about half a dozen email exchange in requesting just simple information, I was pushed in doing a face-to-face consultation with China. In my very first email, I mentioned that I was not local so meeting her was not an option. Email correspondence were never answered directly from China, she was always CC'd though -- she had her assistants respond, either Tracy or Jason. It was repetitive as it was not just one person so I had to repeat info I've already told them. Very disorganized.
  
  We then did have an opportunity to go to Oahu, so I emailed again. My email was never responded to, just the automatic replies, which I noticed included a (new) option to book a consultation. I booked it for 4pm on 11/8/16. We got there around 3:30pm and walked around the area for a bit.
  
  At 3:50pm, we arrived at The Wedding Cafe (where our meeting was suppose to take place) and waited...and waited...and waited. We left at 4:40pm.
  
  I have not received a phone call or email of apology (it's been a week now). I really wanted to give them a chance. The owner of The Wedding Cafe (Luke) was extremely nice and even texted China for us while we were there waiting. We did pick up some marketing materials though while at The Wedding Cafe, so not a complete lost.
