I would 100% recommend to have your wedding reception at Reading Terminal Market with All About Events. Christina, Stevie, and Louis were fantastic in making our wedding reception a truly special event. From the beginning of venue planning we knew that we wanted Reading Terminal Market. We did not know how amazing and efficient the team at All About Events would make the entire wedding planning process easy. They are extremely knowledgeable, organized, and patient every step of the way. Our guests are trying to convince us to have a yearly anniversary party here so they can all come back again, they keep saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to....and I agree! Thank you to the whole team for making our day perfect. -

If you're looking for a venue that is a bit less traditional (in the best possible way - imagine getting the entire Market to yourself with no crowds!), but will get guests excited to eat, drink, and dance all night, I can't say enough about Reading Terminal Market. Our guests were so excited to see the Market transformed (and all in an hour - it closes to the public at 6 and our wedding started at 7!), the food was excellent (since you can choose essentially any item that any vendor at the Market serves), and working with All About Events and Molly Malloy's was a breeze (AAE plans and produces RTM events and Molly Malloy's handles the bar packages). We are so glad we chose Reading Terminal Market as our wedding venue - it was memorable and unique but still felt very appropriate for a wedding. And it doesn’t hurt that we can go back to visit anytime to reminisce about our wedding day! -

Amanda Sent on 07/23/2018When we tell people we were having our wedding reception at Reading Terminal Market, they were always a little surprised and their next reaction was "that is going to be SO COOL!" And after we had our wedding, our guest did nothing but rave about how fun, unique and perfect the reception was.
But just having a reception at RTM is not what I'd recommend it. It was so much more. It was having the incredible variety of foods - we had cheesesteaks, DiNic's roast pork, Chinese food, a salad bar, poutine and corn dogs, grilled cheese from Meltkraft, the list goes on. It was having a historic and unique setting that was transformed into a beautiful evening even with string lights, candles, table clothes, decorations and provided an ambiance it'd be impossible to replicate anywhere else. It was the servers who attended to our guests every need, kept the party going, the room clean and the people happy. It was every little touch that the planning team executed perfectly for us, that all happened without us realizing it, without any reminders or questions.
The planning team at All About Events were the true heroes of the night - and in fact, the whole planning process. We met with them about 15 months before our wedding, and Christina, Stevie and Liam made sure that everything was easy, fun and exciting. Christina's emails to us were always clear and thorough, addressing every little question I had asked, and pointing out tiny things I never would have thought of. Stevie's communication with our vendors was so appreciated, including our Mummers and DJ! And every time we met with them, the meetings were exciting, joyful. Their personalities and kindness and caring for us and our events just SHONE.
We could not recommend RTM and AAE more. They are a truly wonderful team, and a gem in the Philadelphia wedding scene. I hope that we get to go to another event at the market soon, and we will certainly keep them in mind for our 10th anniversary vow renewal!!!! -

Patricia Sent on 02/17/2018We couldn’t be happier that we selected Reading Terminal Market for our post-wedding brunch! We rented the Rick Nichols room for a flat fee and then purchased gift cards so that our guests could explore the market and choose whichever brunch items appealed to them throughout the market. A buffet option was available, but we thought supplying the gift cards allowed more flexibility. All the food that our guests brought back to the room looked delicious and my husband and I even discovered a few new shops! An amazing time, affordable rate, and a great way to send off our guests from a wonderful weekend. We look forward to many future strolls through RTM! -

Megan Sent on 06/10/2015Sarah and the rest of the All About Events team at Reading Terminal was absolutely fantastic to work with in planning an amazing food oriented wedding. They offered suggestions for the menu, set up, and flow of the evening. Reading Terminal is such a great, unique venue also, and allowed for a fun cocktail style reception that kept everyone dancing all night. Everyone I spoke to raved about the venue and the wedding! -

The venue is unique and colorful and fun, and lends itself to a really great party. Your guests will LOVE the amazing food, and the array of options really allows something for everyone. They were even able to accommodate my Gluten-Free groom (*Thanks, Gina!), a detail that made me totally neurotic.
They way they use lighting to transform the market to a party space is just brilliant.
We had a great dancefloor that was packed all night, but this wedding was fun for the wall flowers too. The space alone is incredible, but the staff was warm, patience and responsive, and in general a joy to work with.
We love having the chance to go back and visit the site of our wedding, and look forward to taking our kids there. -
User1997658 Sent on 01/05/2015The Reading Terminal Market is a unique space with many custom options for food, music, lighting and atmosphere. We were invited to several events prior to our wedding that ranged from black tie formal to casual parties; our wedding fell somewhere in the middle.
Sarah guided us through the many different options and provided expertise in what worked and didn't work. Every type of food you can imagine is available and it will make your guests happy to stray from the normal boring wedding selections. The space is large enough to accommodate big groups but can also feel very intimate.
Molly Malloy's is a great bar inside the market and was one of the best values from all the venues we looked at. They had great craft beer selections in addition to the standard beer/wine/cocktails, and they helped us choose custom seasonal options.
Sarah did a great job handling all our specific requests in the months of planning and executed everything as planned the day of our event. Our friends and family raved about the wedding and we couldn't be more happy with the results.
