Beautiful Photos and a Delightful Experience

Jules of Readyluck was everything we were looking for in our wedding photographer. As people who don't like to be photographed and who can be very awkward in front of a camera, we were put at ease by Jules' gentle direction - and she has an eye for candids and shots that truly pulled out our personality. She listened to our vision with care, guided us where we had questions, and delivered beautiful photographs that we love to revisit to relive our special day. Also, Jules and Kate were both lovely to work with and be around - a key when you're spending 8+ hours with someone! We both heartily recommend Jules and Readyluck.

Edward Winter is amazing

Eddie from READYLUCK was absolutely incredible on our wedding day -- we've been so excited about how great he was that it's taken almost a year to write our reviews! We got married May 2021 just as things were opening back up and were keeping it small, so Eddie one-man-banded the entire day and was a true superhero. Our portraits are so artful and we could tell he truly wanted to capture "us." Throughout the night, any time anyone was having a moment they wanted a snap of, somehow he was already there, but also never in the way - an absolute ninja and also just fun to have around all day. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you Eddie and READYLUCK!

We worked with Shane Carpenter for our wedding day and engagement photoshoot. We couldn't have been happier! So many photographers we looked at, we had to say, "yes we like this shot, not this one, this one is ok"....but with Shane, we didn't have to say a thing. We loved all of the photos he showed us, and showed us multiple weddings to reference. He understands light, people, and the beauty in the unexpected. He saw beautiful things that we didn't even notice. He took the time to understand us, and what we were looking for. One of the best decisions of our day!

We worked with Shane Carpenter for our wedding day and engagement photoshoot. We couldn't have been happier! Outstanding Photos

We were lucky enough to have Jacqueline Schlossman from READYLUCK photograph our wedding in May 2023 and our photos are absolutely stunning. Jacqueline applies a photojournalistic approach to her work which felt much more natural to us than many of the other photographers we vetted. She excels at capturing candid moments and the feeling of the day on camera. If you're looking for a whole bunch of classic posed portraits you might want to go with someone a bit more traditional (though we did get a bunch of those, too!) but for us it was imperative to have a photographer who was able to document the day as it unfolded (and edit the photos to match). The only negative...

Italian Wedding - 100% captured my vision

Highly recomend, especially if you are going international! Edward Winter was beyond all my expectations. We were married in Italy!!! Eddie not only captured the beauty of our Italian countryside locations, but he also captured our spirit as a couple. It was very important to us that our venues (a 1000-year-old church and a traditional Italian villa) and all of the beautiful things that make Italy so wonderful were highlighted in an authentic way. He did this wonderfully through not only photos of the venue, but additional detail and landscape shots that capture the heart of Italy. He was able to photograph my partner as if it was through my eyes, finding details and subtle expressions that I love...

If anyone is worried about feeling uptight when being photographed I would highly recommend him because his directives, reassurance, and calm mood made me feel relaxed (and even beautiful!) throughout the process. During portraits, he captured everyone handsomely, and our families had a good time with him, and during the ceremony and reception, I never even noticed he was taking pictures! 10 out of 10 recomend, especially if you are going International/European for your wedding!

The best experience!

I am so thankful we ended up with Sasha Smolina, and her assistant Jules, as our wedding photographers! Working with Readyluck was an easy, stress-free process from start to finish. The initial request and quote was fast and tailored perfectly for our needs. A lot of the wedding process was uncomfortable for me, but as soon as Sasha arrived the day of and we started shooting, I felt so much more relaxed and calm! She and Jules captured incredible portraits of us, wrangled a very large family of over 40+ members into a series of priceless shots, and captured amazing moments at the event that we didn't even know were happening. Wow is all i can say

We were beyond thrilled with Readyluck. We had Edward Winter as our photographer for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. He was beyond incredible and gave me a true appreciation for photography because his work is beautiful. Upon meeting him he gives you this feeling that everything is going to be excellent. He is calm, kind, reliable and ever so present. Edward has an incredible eye and is truly an artist. He does't just take photos he captures feelings, textures, while creating the most beautiful and memorable photographs possible. We can honestly say I've never seen better work in my lifetime. We are so grateful to have found ReadyLuck and to have had a 10 out of ten experience. Readyluck is truly amazing and I would pick them over and over again. Thank you again.

The perfect choice for our wedding - couldn't have been happier!

The entire Readyluck team was a dream to work with from start to finish. Edward Winter was our primary photographer and point of contact, and Sasha Smolina was our secondary photographer. From our first conversation with Eddie, it was like talking to an old friend – he made us feel comfortable from the very beginning and it stayed that way through the entire process and the many events we asked them to shoot. While you always hear that taking photos for your wedding can be a drag, it was nothing short of a joy to work and spend time with them. They radiate positivity and have a natural instinct to say the right thing or find the right location...

The entire Readyluck team was a dream to work with from start to finish. Edward Winter was our primary photographer and point of contact, and Sasha Smolina was our secondary photographer. They are true artists and professionals in every sense of the term. They worked flawlessly with our coordinator, our videographer (who was from a different company), and the venue (Cedar Lakes Estate) to make the process easy for us and capture everything we were hoping for and more! We have already recommended them to anyone who needs a photographer and would love the opportunity to work with this dream team again.

When it came time to focus on the wedding pictures, Lindsay helped us carefully craft a shot list and schedule our day to ensure that there was a buffer of time. Her experience definitely paid off. We never ran late and indeed, finished early from each session. She also offered constructive thoughts on how to handle difficult family members that suggested she not only has a degree from MICA but also one in diplomacy. Her time spent in the bridal suite was unobtrusive. As she interacted with our friends and family, she felt like another invited guest at the wedding. Our second shooter, Artemas, was equally great. The groomsmen took him as one of their own. He also was integral in capturing the night. Fast forward to just over a month after the wedding and the pictures are ready!! The photos are wonderful and our friends and family are enjoying them as well. Lindsay was able to capture every detail of the evening. We could not be any happier or more pleased with the photos – now we have the difficult choice to make of which ones to print. Too many to choose from. Lindsay and Readyluck were so wonderful to work with!! Thank you a million times over for capturing all the memories from our special day.

One of the absolute best decisions we could have made was to work with Lindsay Hite from ReadyLuck. Her style of photography is brilliant and unique, even for NY weddings. Our wedding was 2 weeks ago, and she's already shared a handful of sneak peeks from that special day that have me itching for more. The day itself was beautiful and I am beyond confident that Lindsay captured it in the most magnificent way. We worked with Jacqueline and she was amazing! It always seemed like her and assistant Natalie were everywhere all the time. I just got back my wedding photos this past weekend and they were absolutely amazing. I've been getting so many compliments on them! It's been a great way to relive the wonderful day!

We worked with Jacqueline for our June Wedding in Annapolis. This is actually the third wedding for our family ReadyLuck has done! Leading up to the event Jacqueline was super responsive, thoughtful and enthusiastic. Working with her on the day of was awesome! She had great ideas to capture our day, was laid back and so great with the bridal party, and went above and beyond to get in everything we had asked of her. Several of my guests and bridal party members commented after the fact that her and her partner were wonderful!

Eddie Winter and Jill were excellent. It seemed like they were everywhere getting lots of great pictures, and they were great setting up the posed pictures. I like that they got lots of pictures of the children having fun.

Laura-Chase is an amazing photographer! She did our wedding photos as well as our Engagement Photos. She is now our official family photographer! Her point of view is classic photojournalism with artitic qualities added in, just gorgeous! I would recommend her to anyone!

Shane from Readyluck was wonderful! He's incredibly talented and his easy going personality alleviated a lot of the stress that comes with planning a wedding. Shane was very accessible and even met with us a week before the wedding to walk through the venue and plan out potential shots for photos. He was also helpful with finding other vendors. He looked up musicians for us and recommended a great videographer. I can't imagine that many photographers do that. As cheesy as it sounds, working with Shane felt like working with a friend. I can't say enough about him. He truly went above and beyond and thanks to his talent and hard work, we have beautiful pictures to remember our special day.

Shane was very accessible and even met with us a week before the wedding to walk through the venue and plan out potential shots for photos. He was also helpful with finding other vendors. He looked up musicians for us and recommended a great videographer. I can't imagine that many photographers do that. As cheesy as it sounds, working with Shane felt like working with a friend. I can't say enough about him. He truly went above and beyond and thanks to his talent and hard work, we have beautiful pictures to remember our special day.

Jonathan Hanson was our photographer and we would absolutely recommend him. We had both our engagement and wedding photos taken with him. He and his assistant were great at blending in the day of the wedding and making everyone feel comfortable. I don't particularly care to have my photo taken but Jonathan put me right at ease. The quality of work is incredible and we couldn't be more pleased. We've had so many compliments on our engagement photos and we're anxiously awaiting the final products from our wedding. If you're going to splurge on anything, most definitely splurge on your photos!

Jonathan took some of the most amazing photos I have ever seen. We wanted more candid photos and he captured exactly what we had hoped. He was so easy to work with especially since my husband and I are often awkward in front of a camera.
