  Our daughter's wedding in St. Michaels

  Rebecca, we cannot thank you enough for the incredible work you put into making our daughter’s wedding a truly beautiful and unforgettable day! Your expertise, organization, and thoughtful touches made sure that everything ran smoothly and made all the difference.
  Your relationships with the community and knowledge of local talent (and beyond) added such a wonderful touch to our day. From coordinating with local vendors to the recommendations and support you gave to us; you made our daughters’ vision come to life. You provided us with just the right amount of information at just the right times, helping us avoid feeling overwhelmed with decisions. You truly made the planning experience nearly as enjoyable as the day itself.
  And, when the weather forecast for the day of the wedding called for a drop in temperature and breezy conditions for the waterfront ceremony and cocktail hour, you arranged for blankets on the chairs for our guests during the ceremony and moved the cocktail hour to the more protected garden area. It was the perfect call – our guests felt comfortable, and it set the tone for a warmer and relaxed experience.
  We’re especially grateful for your guidance with the dinner service selections (from chairs, china and centerpieces to the food), thank you for coordinating all these pieces with our venue (Inn at Perry Cabin) to ensure everything fit together seamlessly. It was clear you knew exactly how to make our intimate celebration of 24 guests feel both meaningful and elegant.

  Fantastic!

  Rebecca was the most professional planner I could ever imagine. We could tell early on in the planning process that she was very detail oriented, so we hired her for our Friday-night welcome party as well. Our weekend was flawless, thanks to Rebecca Thomas Events! As the mother of the bride, I was able to enjoy every moment of the magical weekend because of Rebecca's stellar planning and coordinating. I would highly recommend Rebecca for any wedding, small or large! She is fantastic!

  The BEST Planner!

  I cannot recommend Rebecca and her team enough. We used her for day of / month of planning support. We had a somewhat atypical wedding vision (cocktail style reception) and Rebecca was extremely flexible and supportive of executing our vision. She definitely went above and beyond for us, both in her day of coordination with the particularly difficult venue staff as well as spending plenty of time with us leading up to the event (joining calls with other vendors, having extensive / detailed conversations with us, etc.). The whole time she was professional, dedicated to making sure everything went smoothly and a genuine delight to be around. She navigated poor weather, a difficult venue, some difficult guests and everything in between flawlessly. Don't think twice about hiring her!

  Rebecca Thomas, the best on the Eastern Shore!

  Rebecca Thomas is the very best on the Eastern Shore! We had a wonderful waterfront wedding in Oxford, Maryland in September 2023, right in the middle of hurricane season. Tropical Storm Ophelia happened to join us for the party at our waterfront reception! Working with Rebecca was imperative to having a successful celebration. Rebecca, an Eastern Shore resident, knew the tides, wind patterns, and overall roadblocks typical to the area (storm or not) and so gracefully guided the party all day! Her team was extremely attentive, quick-pivoting, and organized so that no one had to lift a finger. Through the planning process, Rebecca was proactive in considering every detail, every scenario, and every guest’s enjoyment! As Eastern Shore residents ourselves, we cannot stress enough: If you are having a wedding on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and are looking for planning services, choose one local to the Shore, and most importantly - choose Rebecca Thomas!   Best decision we made!

  From day 1, Rebecca was the most amazing coordinator we could have ever asked for! She was beyond organized, and always kept us on track with everything and made sure we never fell behind. Trust me, you will not find a more organized planner/coordinator!! The day of our wedding, she was on top of everything. When the weather wasn't exactly perfect, she presented us with a couple different options that were just as perfect as the original plan. My husband and I look back on our amazing day and think, wow, we literally had ZERO stress on the day because Rebecca handled everything!! she was just amazing and we couldn't recommend her enough. Everything was perfect... thank you Rebecca for all that you did!!!

  Rebecca is the bomb

  I can't say enough good things about working with Rebecca and her team. We hired her for full-service wedding planning and she made a very stressful and complicated process seamless and worry-free. On top of being a delight to talk to and work with, she made the vision come to life and our entire wedding was perfect. She is so on top of everything and very reliable, I am sad that our working relationship has come to an end. 11/10 would recommend Rebecca Thomas, she is worth every penny and then some.

  Rebecca is the best and we would absolutely recommend her to other couples looking for a fabulous planner.

  RTE is a fantastic wedding planning service, and we would recommend Rebecca to anyone. My husband and I live in Denver and hired Rebecca to help us plan our wedding celebration on Maryland's Eastern Shore. We didn't have a traditional wedding -- instead we had a courthouse ceremony with family followed a few days later by a large party on my parents' property. Rebecca was a dream to work with from day 1. She understood our laid back vision for a slightly upscale picnic outside on the water. From the flowers, to the tent, to the food, everything went off without a hitch. She thought of all of the details that we would have missed, was incredibly responsive to every text and email and worked so well with all of our vendors (all of whom she recommended and has great relationships with). There is no way we could have pulled of this event without her and the entire day was stress free because of her and her team.

  After looking at several wedding planners in the area, we chose to work with Rebecca Thomas for our wedding in St. Michaels, MD.   Rebecca was the best decision we made

  We could not imagine planning our wedding without Rebecca on our side all along the way. As nature-loving and generally easy-going people, we loved the idea of an intimate, charming, outdoor, wedding in my parent's backyard waterfront, thinking this would be easy. We quickly learned we were in way over our heads - Rebecca was there every step of the way helping us build up our wedding from scratch in a back yard. Without her planning our wedding would have a been a full-time job that we just couldn't fit in.
  
  She is a creative, fun-loving human, but also incredibly organized and effective, all of which we found essential in her as a wedding planner. In one of the busiest years of our lives professionally and personally, Rebecca made the wedding planning process easy and helped us find a balance in the planning timeline that worked for us and took the stress of planning off our shoulders. To be clear, she did not just check things off a list to get things done; she went out of her way on every detail of the weekend to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and getting the best.
  
  Our wedding day was completely stress-free and we could focus on the truly important things knowing that we could put our complete trust in Rebecca and her team to facilitate the entire day - not only for us, but for our families (and guests) as well. Rebecca handled every hurdle the day-of with grace and in such a way no one would ever know there was an issue in the first place. The RTE team all went above and beyond and we recommend Rebecca without reservation.

  Amazing. Incredible.

  First off, Rebecca is everything you hope to have in a wedding planner- she is organized, responsive, understanding, creative, knowledgeable, kind, connected to local vendors, professional and hard working. My husband and I started planning our wedding in June 2019 for October 2020 and when COVID hit we were in a bit of denial but eventually made the difficult decision to postpone to August 2021 a month or so beforehand. Rebecca quickly contacted our vendors and secured our new date with our original contract terms. Rebecca understood we wanted a day dedicated to celebrating Doug & I, and our somewhat unconventional style for a wedding at the Inn at Perry Cabin. She found the perfect vendors, including a local artist to create our 20 geometric centerpieces and the particular type of pampas grass we wanted, just to name a few of the ridiculous things we wanted. We had several last minute cancellations and other friend/family drama which Rebecca and her team handled with grace and discretion so no one else was the wiser leaving us to enjoy our day. Rebecca and her team truly go above and beyond. Rebecca is enthusiastic and a stabilizing force in what can be a very stressful process. She created the most beautiful and epic weekend of our lives. Yes we hired her to plan our rehearsal dinner as well. :)

  RTE: the dream team for your wedding

  My daughter's wedding, our family's first, in June 2021 was a magical event, largely due to Rebecca's efforts and the incredible love of family and friends in attendance. Rebecca is a perfect blend of business and fun - smart, organized, direct, practical, attentive, and also enthusiastic, creative, supportive, clever and engaging. She listens intently and offers thoughtful and useful suggestions. She referred us to excellent and talented vendors (florist, photographer, band and string trio, tents, etc), who provided amazing service, professional and yet personal for our special event. Rebecca managed and assisted us all with skill and kindness from start to finish, helping us create and execute the "dream" weekend, while keeping in mind budgetary concerns. We loved working with Rebecca and are so grateful to her!

  Wedding Planner

  Rebecca Thomas was superb!!! She exceeded all my expectations on every level. The rehearsal dinner/welcome party at the Inn at Perry Cabin for my son and his bride was awesome. As we were not local to the area, she recommended wonderful vendors for linens, china, flowers and invitations. Everything went off without a hitch!!

  Delivered on our vision!!

  Rebecca was incredible from the beginning to end of our wedding planning! It was a bit of a rollercoaster, planning amidst COVID, and Rebecca was a sounding board who kept us sane throughout. Our wedding day exceeded our dreams - it was perfect! Highly reccommend!!!

  We loved Rebecca! After a tumultuous two years with a postponed wedding and pandemic planning Rebecca pulled off the perfect wedding. She made it all feel effortless for us on the wedding weekend. We also had an absolute blast with her - she really made us feel at ease throughout the process even in moments when things could have been really difficult.   My family recently hired Rebecca Thomas for my wedding and she was phenomenal. We already made some plans prior to working with Rebecca and once hired, she was able to join without skipping a beat and asked the right questions. Rebecca was responsive, experienced, and dedicated. She made sure my wedding was personalized, represented my values, and memorable. Additionally, my wedding was a destination wedding and I felt completely confident knowing Rebecca was able to be present for numerous meetings I was unable to attend.   When we decided to have a micro wedding this fall with only two months to plan, we knew we were going to need help pulling it off. Rebecca came recommended highly to us by our venue (the Inn at Perry Cabin) and we're so glad she did! She was there for us every step of the way - from planning and helping realizing our vision, to identifying all of the tiny details that would make our day a beautiful success. Knowing she was there to manage all of the details really helped us enjoy our day to the fullest - from pivoting on parts of the schedule when the forecast changed, to coordinating with all of our vendors, to placing every detail perfectly in setting up our cocktail hour and reception. It was truly magical. We can't recommend Rebecca highly enough!

  Rebecca helped us plan our dream wedding at the Inn at Perry Cabin in less than 2 months during uncertain times. She arranged several different wedding scenarios based on the Covid guidelines and restrictions as we weren't sure what they would be when planning. All the vendors she sourced were top of the line! We had the best of the best! I truly couldn't believe how beautifully it all came together. It was a magical evening I will never forget and we are forever grateful!

  Planner Perfection!

  Rebecca was far and above the best person we could have found to make our wedding weekend perfect! She is kind, calm, organized and joyful! Rebecca helped plan our rehearsal dinner and wedding, both of which were large and detailed events. She recommended amazing vendors, she checked our details, and kept everything flowing throughout the process. Weekend of, Rebecca was calm, collected and made sure that everything was not just running smoothly but that we were aware and approved of any changes that were proposed. Honestly, as a super Type A, detailed person myself, Rebecca was my calm in the storm.
  
  We planned from Texas for our Easton wedding which made Rebecca even more valuable. For the months leading up to our wedding (we had about a year of planning with Rebecca having found her just as we finalized our venue) we chatted with Rebecca and she made the wonderful effort to not just get to know us but our families! She checked in on our moms, she memorized family dynamics, and guided us to what we should do next. She really took the time to get to know us and we are so thankful for her!
  
  If we did every part of our weekend over 100 times we would always choose Rebecca to be there with us! I cannot recommend enough how happy and stress-free we were with her as our planner! We truly enjoyed our time planning and wedding weekend, thanks to Rebecca!!
