  So fun to work with & gorgeous photos!

  We loved working with Ashleigh from Red Aspen!! We used her for our engagement photos in Boulder and wedding photos in Vail and could not have been happier with the end result! Her photos were AMAZING and we have had so many friends/family reach out and ask who our photographer was because they were so impressed. When we met her for our engagement photos she made us feel so comfortable (especially since we both felt very awkward at first) and worked with us + our crazy Labrador. She’s a BIG dog fan which is a plus in our book. Ashleigh found the most beautiful spot with fall aspen colors for us to take pictures on our big day and they are seriously stunning. Also another thing you don’t think about before the day – she was so good about directing our bridal party and family to get through pictures as efficiently as possible. I’ve been in other weddings where the photographer doesn’t take direction and it is kind of a mess. Our sneak-peak photos came back just a few days after the wedding, and we even got a fully printed photo book with highlights of the day which is such a nice touch – considering most people only use digital prints nowadays! We couldn’t recommend a better photographer!!

  Thank you, Ashleigh!

  Ashleigh was wonderful to work with and captured our wedding and rehearsal dinner perfectly, particularly the outdoor shots and views of the mountains. She was flexible with our changing party size due to COVID and some weather that made for some last minute changes at our venue site. We had a great experience and highly recommend Ashleigh!

  I can't say enough good things about Ashleigh and her work! We booked Ashleigh for our engagement shoot (since our wedding is out of town) and she went seriously above and beyond to make sure that our photos were nothing less than perfect - which they are. Not only is Ashleigh crazy talented at working with light and natural spaces in a timeless way, but she made us both feel comfortable in front of the lens. She worked some serious black magic because we both look amazing despite chilly temps and high winds. We were thrilled to have our photos faster than I ever expected and already can't wait to book her for family shoots in the future!

  Truly amazing!

  I truly cannot say enough good things about Ashleigh. We had such a fantastic experience working with her - she was by far the best wedding vendor decision we made. She is incredibly helpful, responsive and professional. We had a destination wedding and Ashleigh helped us feel at ease about all the details, including advising on great spots for our first look and bridal party/family photos. Beyond being great to work with, Ashleigh's photos are absolutely incredible. She really listened to what we wanted and we were so thrilled with everything she captured, from the portraits to the candids. Cannot recommend her enough!

  The best in Colorado!

  Ashleigh’s care, attention to detail, and overall empathy can be summed up in one wedding day anecdote I will never forget: At some point after hair and makeup, but before getting dressed, I needed a moment of quiet as the hustle bustle of the day was catching up with my nerves. As Ashleigh walked outside to capture some dress shots, she allowed me to walk out with her to grab a moment of fresh air and solitude on an otherwise hectic day. While she had a job to do, her understanding of an anxious bride on her wedding day is the exact reason why she is so good at what she does.
  
  We worked with her for both our engagement session and wedding, day and were candid about how uncomfortable we were with portrait photography. Her response put us as ease immediately. She worked through our awkwardness and captured our happiest, most candid moments in each session. She even laughed at our awful jokes as we tried to make light of being in front of the camera (or at least did an excellent job pretending to! ;)) We cannot recommend Red Aspen Photography enough. It’s difficult to classify her as a vendor, when in reality she is a partner, and an irreplaceable one on our special day. She so clearly loves what she does, and has such an incredibly talented eye.

  Working with Ashleigh is the BEST!!

  Ashleigh couldn't be better to work with. From start to finish, she has been wonderful to communicate with, professional and kind. She shot both our engagements and our wedding photos and both experiences were best in class. We had some tricky weather challenges in May with our engagements (Colorado, duh) and she was so flexible with making adjustments as needed, to get the best pictures we could. We brought our dog with us and she not only made us feel comfortable behind the camera, but was so great with helping out with him too, when he wasn't in the shot. As far as the wedding photos go - where do I begin? Her and her assistant were amazing. They are so detail oriented and accommodating - I truly feel like each and every shot that could be captured, was, and each and every shot is absolutely perfect. We could not recommend her more. Working with Ashleigh is truly a joy and we look forward to working with her for family photos for years to come!

  Red Aspen Photography = MAGIC!

  Ashleigh is a DREAM!!! My husband and I first came across her work on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her artistic ability to capture authentic emotion against a gorgeous Colorado backdrop. After meeting her in person and being instantly charmed by her professionalism, warmth, and good sense of humor - we were sold! On our wedding day, Ashleigh and her assistant were AMAZING. Astoundingly well-organized and tuned-in to every element including the weather, last minute changes in our schedule of events, who needed to be where, and even getting our pup to smile! She pulls all of this off while still maintaining connection with her clients, too. Our photos are drop dead gorgeous! I am SO GLAD we hired Ashleigh!!   Creative, professional and SO helpful!

  Book Red Aspen Photography for your wedding! Working with Ashleigh over this last year and a half has been nothing short of amazing! We met Ashleigh at a wedding showcase in Boulder and were instantly drawn to her photographs and her personality. Ashleigh took our engagement photos on the Bobo Link Trail - she helped us decide on this spot because having water, ducks and mountain views were all important to us. Ashleigh actually got IN the stream with my (now) husband and I so we could get the wet and wild photos we wanted! Before our engagement shoot Ashleigh even helped me choose a makeup artist (something I'd never done before). She ALWAYS went above and beyond to help me with any wedding related questions. Also, during our wedding planning we decided we wanted a videographer to work along side Ashleigh. I asked for her advice and she quickly sent me a list of venders and through her we got to work with the best videographer (Alpine Tree Films). At our wedding Ashleigh and her assistant was professional, caring and overall magical! We absolutely LOVE our wedding photos and cherish our experience working with this stellar photographer. Lastly, my brother and future sister-in-law loved her work so much they are booking her for their 2020 wedding! Ashleigh is creative, kind and SO helpful.   Red Aspen took the most beautiful wedding photos EVER!

  My wife and I are so glad we picked Red Aspen to photograph our special day. From start to finish, Ashleigh was amazing and professional. She was very communicative throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring she captured all of our needs. My wife and I both come from a creative background, so photography was one of our highest wedding priorities. Red Aspen delivered above and beyond. What really impressed us is how prepared Ashleigh is - she always has a back up set of equipment and a reliable assistant. Ashleigh is extremely talented and our photos came out beautifully. I literally gasped when I saw them for the first time. And wow, is she fast! Highly recommend Red Aspen Photography to anyone looking for quality wedding photography.

  Wonderful experience!!!

  We worked with Ashleigh for our "elaborate elopement" in Boulder, CO and it could not have gone any better! We live in MN, so finding times to communicate could have been tricky, but she made herself extremely available, answering all crazy questions we threw at her and offering her advice. When we finally met in person, it was as she knew our family for years. She was helpful providing directions, managed our dogs with care and professional while making everyone feel comfortable! She has a genuine personality and a true passion for photography. Not only was she amazing on site, but she sent us all of our pictures SPEEDY quick. The pictures were better than we could have imagine! We will definitely be working with her again.

  Can't be beat

  You probably know that you need a good photographer. I'm here to tell you that you need Ashleigh. First things first--the pictures turned out great. Ashleigh shot our engagement shoot and our formal wedding portraits, but also edited the rest of our pictures (more on that later). We loved her photography style, and our pictures didn't disappoint. A lot of good photographers can capture a good shot when they see it, but it's a totally different skill to create a good shot out of thin air. Ashleigh was so good at putting us at ease and creating really nice shots during our engagement and wedding portraits. She know what works and what doesn't work on camera, but she's also tries new shots all the time. Some of the setups felt a little awkward in person, but since Ashleigh is so good to shoot with, we felt totally comfortable and happy to go along. Seeing the pictures after the fact only confirmed that she knows what she's doing!
  
  However--like most wedding vendors--it's not just about the specific service you've contracted on. A wedding has a ton of moving parts, and as someone who has had no prior experience planning a wedding, being responsive, organized, and friendly went a long way in making the process easier. It's clear that Ashleigh cares a ton about the business itself, and she communicates very clearly. We had an unusual setup with two events spanning two venues, and Ashleigh was more than happy to work with us to make an arrangement that worked for both of us.
  
  Now for the kicker: Ashleigh found out she was pregnant about 6 months before our wedding, and her due date was one week after the wedding. She made every effort to apprise us of the situation and make sure that we were still comfortable with the arrangement. Of course being that close to the due date, Ashleigh couldn't promise anything and we didn't expect her to.
  
  Come closer to the wedding date, Ashleigh let us know that her doctor ordered her to stop shooting weddings, and we'd have to go to the Plan B that she previously proposed (an alternate photographer). She still checked with us to make sure we were comfortable proceeding and sent us sample photos. Ashleigh assured us that the Amber and Jessica would shoot with the same lenses in the same style, and Ashleigh would still personally edit all of our photos.The photos turned out great! The shots were in the same style, and we loved the pictures for the wedding.
  
  The confirmation that Ashleigh is incredible: Ashleigh STILL showed up to our wedding portraits that day and shot them along with Amber. Totally surprised us, and we had no expectation at all for her to show up.
  
  Working with Ashleigh was a really great experience from the actual photographs to her professionalism and dedication.

  Mother of the bride

  Ashleigh captured my daughters wedding so beautifully! I cannot say enough about how wonderful she and her team were! Her artistry is amazing, and I will treasure each image she so thoughtfully captured from that day! Blessed to have found her and have worked with her! She and Amber were wonderful!!!!   Professional and Captured those Perfect Moments

  Red Aspen Photography and Ashleigh are such a pleasure to work with. She recently photographed our wedding and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results.   Ashleigh is an amazingly talented photographer – we did both our engagement and wedding photos with her. Ashleigh is so down-to-earth and easy to be around. We were hesitant about the engagement photo shoots at first, but Ashleigh put us at such ease with the engagement photo shoot we felt like we had just spent an hour having fun and hanging out with a good friend. All that chemistry also translated to the wedding photo shoot as well -- it was so helpful to use the engagement photos as a test run with the camera and hang out with Ashleigh before the big day.
  
  Beyond the actual photo shoots, we couldn’t be happier with our photos themselves. Ashleigh is SO talented – we love our wedding photos, where Ashleigh really captured the moment and happiness on our wedding day. The photos are all felt so natural and organic. We got so many compliments from friends and family about how beautifully our photos turned out. Not to mention, Ashleigh turned everything around SO quickly!

  Ashleigh's work is incredible! She photographed our wedding for us, and the photos we have to last us a lifetime are stunning. She showed creativity and patience, and her love for photography shows in our photos. We definitely recommend using her for your special day!

  Ashleigh was absolutely amazing!! We did both our engagement and wedding photos with her and could not be happier with them! She is incredibly talented and made both of us feel comfortable in front of the lens. None of our photos felt overly posed and she captured all of the important, genuine moments.
  
  She got our photos to us so quickly and had a gorgeous photo book delivered to our home along with a few stunning prints.

  Ashleigh is friendly, down to earth, and has a great eye for composition! We had a wonderful time taking our engagement photos with her. They turned out so beautifully!!!! We have gotten so many compliments on them from our family and friends, everyone wants to know where we got them done. My fiance was walking with crutches and couldn't go very far, but Ashleigh still managed to get beautiful outdoorsy shots.   We were introduced to Ashleigh through our floral vendor and were quickly blown away by her professionalism, warm personality and ability to really listen to what Charles & I were looking for. Ashleigh made a trip from Denver to the mountains to photograph our engagement photos in our hometown and we quickly knew we had made fast friends.   Ashleigh with Red Aspen is the best decision we made! Obviously she's a talented photographer but she's also professional and invested in your day to make sure you're the happiest couple ever. We were also able to bring our dog to our engagement shoot and Ashleigh was amazing working with him and his energy.

From the beginning when we met with her, to our engagement photos, and all the way through our ceremony, Ashleigh was just like having another one of our friends there with us. She did a wonderful job coaching us through each part of the process without ever making us feel like we were being told what to do. Our engagement photos and the moments she was able to capture on our wedding day are memories that we will treasure forever. Any couple would be lucky to spend their wedding day with Ashleigh. Her pictures are beautiful, she is responsive to your requests, and all of her work was always delivered ahead of schedule.
