  Dream Wedding

  Words cannot describe how please I am with Jill and Jane at Red Cedar Farm. I’m in tears now writing this review thinking back on how beautiful, perfect, and accommodating the venue was! There is an option to purchase an additional amount of time for the rehearsal which I didn’t do, I strongly recommended purchasing it so you have plenty of time to enjoy it! I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day or better venue!

  Absolutely excellent!

  This was absolutely perfect place!!! Was so beautiful and turned out to be everything I wanted! And we had snow! Jill was great to work with. Wouldn’t change a thing.

  Absolutely amazing!

  Jill and her wonderful family have such a gorgeous venue/home on their hands! My husband and I booked the venue about a year before our wedding date- and the whole time Jill kept in contact with me to make sure everything was going accordingly. She helped me find a great caterer that our guests loved and even had a assistant help my family clean up after the wedding! They weren’t particular with any of my decor, and helped me in anyway possible. Such great people, and such a great place to have your big day!

  A wedding in the woods

  We had our perfect wedding come true at Red Cedar Farm. We had an early October wedding in the wooded location. The team was easy to reach for whatever questions we had, flexible with set-up/tear down, and bringing in outside vendors. Red Cedar strives for excellence in attention to detail and will do whatever it takes to get your vision correct. We had a wonderful experience with Red Cedar and highly recommend to couples looking for refined country style. We loved every minute of our wedding experience!

  Beware of Warden

  Be warned of the Warden. It was so ridiculous how they treated the guest & wedding party. From locking the venue doors on guests preventing them from using the restroom, not allowing anyone to drink prior to the ceremony, reprimanding guests kids for sliding on the dance floor, closing the bar & DJ off at 9pm although the place is rented until 11pm, standing over everyones shoulder the entire time. The list goes on…. I can’t tell you how many people complained about her & her actions or comments. I realize there are rules and guidelines you as a business have to follow but there are different ways it can be handled & addressed.

  I am the owner and was not onsite to witness any of this but I will address with my staff and the bride and groom. Are you a guest or bridesmaid? I am so sorry to hear about this. I do know my staff messaged me and said someone tried to flush something that backed up the toilets and I told them to close the bathrooms until the issue was resolved. I also was aware that this wedding had their own bartender so I’m not sure what happened with that or the DJ, but when we bartend for the guests our last call is always 9:30 or earlier because all guests and decor and everyone was to be gone by 11pm so this gives enough clean up time and time for people to not drink before exiting. Also I haven’t heard the circumstances with the children but I will follow up on this as well. If you have any other concerns please message me directly or have the bride and groom reach out. We have never received a 1 star review in my 6 years of business and this is deeply concerning. I would ask that you consider resolving this with me directly as poor reviews impact businesses greatly, and there is always two sides to every situation!
